A consulting professional who is moving from India to Australia. I have bit of a travel bug and that is what is bringing me to Australia to live. Have lived and traveled to across 20+ countries. Love to explore new places. I will be working full time during weekdays. While i do not mind catching up over a glass of wine now and then, i would ideally like a place where i can get some quiet and personal space. I like to keep things neat and clean and know my way around a kitchen. Looking for a place from start Oct'19 to Feb'20 end.
Furnished room with a built in wardrobe, available in a 2 bedroom security access unit in Waverton. I have just furnished the room with all brand new furniture and bedding. This is a safe location close to the city and North Sydney. 3 minutes walk to Waverton train station, and approx 20 minutes walk to North Sydney. I have most of the major appliances already including : Fridge, microwave, washer, dryer, UHD TV, Weber BBQ, Dyson Vacuum, Dyson Fan, Steam mop, portable air conditioner....etc. Parking is on street only, however there is always plenty available. Internet is an unlimited NBN 100/40 connection. My ideal flatmate will be a female, looking for a new home for 1+ years(3 month minimum), and who is reliable and sociable. I would prefer to live with a female as I find this dynamic works better, and like living in a clean and organised environment. I am hoping to find someone else who enjoys the same, and who will contribute with their share of household chores. I am looking for someone with whom I can share the odd meal, with a glass of something, some good conversation, and hope that we could become friends. I have been sharing for ages and enjoy a happy and social environment at home. I like to think that I am fairly normal and well adjusted, although I do hope to become eccentric one day. I enjoy cooking for flatmates, and even more when we can cook together. I am looking for someone who is not going to shut themself off in their room all the time, whilst recognising that we all need this occasionally. I have a very cute/sneaky 2 year old rescue kitty, who has no table manners, and who loves me (but won't admit it). I'm sure she will love you too if you give her nothing but love and affection. The bond is $1000, and the rent is payable monthly in advance. Sorry no couples. I may be able to accept another cat, however this is entirely up to "Mila Kunis". She also has the final say on whether or not you would make a good flattie, and she is open to bribes :D If this sounds like you, and you are prepared to commit to daily playtime, and kitty tummy rubs upon request, then please don't hesitate to let us know. Paul (50) and Mila (2) :)
Hey there! Looking for a place with a reasonably sized room and ideally hoping to have an ensuite. I’m fairly social and would love to make my new housemates friends too! I work full-time for a medical device company in the North Shore area and play sports 2x nights a week. I tend to be out and about on weekends, but equally love a relaxing night in.
Hello! I've recently started a new job in the pharmaceutical industry and am moving up to Sydney to be a bit closer to work (I'm originally from Wollongong). I like watching movies and am a big fan of food, especially a good cheese platter and wine. I'm friendly, respectful and very tidy. I'm looking for an easygoing flatmate who likes to chat and catch up and may enjoy watching some classic shows every now and again, but is also happy to have alone time. On weekends I'll be out exploring Sydney (and all the cute cafes) and catching up with friends and family.
Hi! I'm Ogie. I'm about to start working in North Sydney, and so I am looking for a comfortable place to stay in nearby areas. I prefer a location close to train stations and other life conveniences! I love neat and clean homes and I myself am a very organized person; would love to have nice and orderly housemates :) I prefer to have my own room. Budget: Aud 250 per week inclusive of all bills Message me here. Thanks.
I'm 26, originally from the Northern Territory. Moving to Sydney for work and am looking for somewhere nice to stay. Love footy, cricket, and the occasional beer. Ideally looking for somewhere with one or two housemates, a couple of bathrooms, and close to public transport.
Hey, I'm 34, work a couple of jobs part time, graduated from art school recently. I like going for walks that sometimes turn into runs, good coffee and dogs. I'm at work 5-6 days but when I get home I like relaxing, doing some study/creative stuff and cooking something healthy for dinner. I appreciate good communication on everything and happy to share my stuff if it gets replaced or whatever. I'm really easy going, like my own down private time, and sleeping in when I get a chance!! I'm really friendly and approachable and I am looking for similar flatmates.
Architect, straight and mature (house sharing wise). Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. Looking for room or whole property to rent. In terms of personal articles, I have a 2.4m long table, my own bed, some other furniture and a car. I can speak Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too
Hi there! Looking to move in with some easygoing individuals. I love yoga, sunshine, wine and movies. I’ll always be up for a chat but also like to hermit. I’ve just started in IT Recruitment 6 months ago and loving it so far. I’ve always lived in Sydney, why would you live anywhere else 👌🏼
30yo Professional, working in hospitality and moving back to Sydney arriving 18th August. Looking for a place to call home. Open minded, easy going and more importantly respect the privacy and keep the place clean. Enjoy having vino with great conversation and dinner. If you want to now more about me please ask :)
I'm 36, and I moved back to Australia recently after a few years overseas where I had to move around a lot for my job. I'm settling back in now, have just signed on with a new job in Media Sales, and am looking for a fab place to live and a great flatmate to live with! I work standard office hours typically. I like to go to the gym or go running, cook, watch Netflix or read a book. I also like getting out and trying different restaurants and cafes, going for long walks (Spit to Manly for example), and just doing different things. Sometimes I go out for drinks and dancing - although all my friends in Sydney are married with kids, so I guess I need to make some new single friends too! I would love to find a flatmate/s that can also be a friend, that I can sometimes cook with/for, have some meals and chill out sessions with, that sort of thing. I sold most of my furniture before I moved overseas; but I have a few things in storage and my sister can give me a couch if it is needed. In storage I also have a various ceramics etc. that I can leave in storage a bit longer or get out. I'm pretty house proud, I like to have a nice, clean place that you can bring people over to and be proud of. I'm clean and like all the common areas to be tidy, but I'm not insane about it (I've heard some stories...) I think all flatmates should be considerate of each other and use the house/flat in a fair and reasonable way. I would love to find somewhere to live that's full of light and laughter.
