My name is Stephanie Deller and I'm 24 years old. I am a very friendly person and am easy to live with (pretty tidy, easy going etc). I've recently been offered a full time position as a journalist in Sydney and am looking for a home!
Hi, I work full time in a bank in Sydney CBD (standard 9-5 hours mostly!) and I'm looking for a long term rental of a queen or king sized private room (no smaller please) closer to work. I'm currently from the Macarthur area so my commute is quite long. I'm a friendly, quiet person who likes my home to be a relaxed place. I don't smoke and most of my socializing will be outside the house. I love music and a couple of nights a month I'll go to a gig after work. When I am at home, I can be found reading, watching a movie/tv series or surfing the internet for new music. I do like to cook although my knowledge is basic (pasta is amazing) and I could definitely benefit from being designated cook a couple of nights a week. On weekends I like to get out and explore. I will also travel to visit family and friends. If you have any questions please ask!
Hi, Looking for a place between Macquarie Park and the city that is easily accessible by public transport and close to shops/cafes. I work in IT, I'm easy going, and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy but also understands that it is a home. I'm up for a laugh and chat and most would say that i have a good sense of humor; (I'm also a little nerdy in my own way). I'm usually out on Fridays and Saturdays. I try to stay fit and eat well but I also like going to cafes, going out, and socializing. I like travel/adventure and try to squeeze in some of my hobbies (including hiking, meditating, photography/drawing) for some balance. I try to do something active after work though, though I usually just unwind at home. I'm pet friendly (i like dogs, and I've lived with cats before); I enjoy taking dogs for walks or just chilling with a cat. Looking for a place to share with people who are relaxed have similar lifestyles.
I feel that I am quite considerate of others so I would get a feel as to what people like/don't like and respect that. My Myer-Briggs personality type is ENFP hehe
I am tidy, friendly, helpful and easy-going. I am not currently employed but will be looking for work as soon as I set up in Sydney (I currently live in the Upper Hunter). I am willing to share cooking, cleaning and other duties, or give you your space and be independent. I am great with kids (hoping to get a job in childcare/disability care) so I do not mind living with a family and helping out if needed.
Hello! I'm Madeline, 24 year old working full time and looking for amazing future flatmates and potential friends :) I'm currently searching for a place in the area's i've listed and am able to furnish the whole place with lovely new things - including your room if you need! I am looking to make a great flat (as I'm over the years i've spent in dingy flats with mouldy fridges, washing machines falling apart, ect) and just need the great housemate! I like to think I'm a easy going person, social and loves a laugh. I'm the type who enjoys a good chat and hanging out with my housemates, but also loves to have some down time in my room. I love to have friends over for dinners, go out for a drink, go for a swim or walk but also just come home from work and relax. If you enjoy any of these activities and want to join in you are probably my ideal housemate. Or even if you just enjoy good music, food and beer you could also fit the bill. Ideally I would love a housemate similar to myself, someone who works full time, social and easy to get along with. Hopefully it can also be a friendship rather than passing ships - I am looking for someone who is looking for a place to enjoy rather than a room in a sharehouse. I would love to start moving by mid Nov.
I am a 22 year-old female fulltime professional who loves a glass or three of wine over dinner when i'm home from work. I do love to party on the weekends so living with a fairly sociable housemate who is also a fulltime working professional would be ideal. I am slightly OCD about cleanliness but i'm extremely friendly and easy to get along with. My friends refer to me as the "mother" of the group because I am always taking care of others, and my educational background in psychology makes me a very good listener! I was on a dance scholarship in high school so I love to pump music on the weekends and have a boogie. I studied a B of Science at Sydney Uni so I am well educated, and I am planning to commence a master's degree in HR management in about 1.5 years. I do need my 'alone time' so I will never be too in your hair and I am extremely respectful of others' personal space and privacy. I bond quickly with people, love late night chats but would also appreciate little noise being made at night time :) Hit me up if I am not able to contact you!
I'm a bubbly, considerate 26 year old looking for a room within 20 mins of the city. I work fairly long hours in the consulting industry and spend my free nights and weekends out and about, so won't be around the house very much, however I would love housemates I can share a nightly chat and occasional glass of wine with nonetheless! I love travelling, dancing, running, adventuring - and eating my way through Sydney!
I'm a very easy outgoing Scottish chap who's easy to get on with and I'm also rather clean :) I also keep myself to myself and mind my own business and I work full time.
Hey future flatmates, I'm Sarah! I'm a 24 year old professional who just got home from 6 months of traveling and now I'm looking to find a place in Sydney as I am currently based on the Central Coast. I work in North Sydney in HR and would ideally like to live close to this area. I'm energetic and outgoing but also enjoy downtime. I love live music and anything to do with nature whether it be the beach or hiking.
Hi there! My name is Olivia, I'm 21 and work full time in Media. My current lease is ending in the next month or so, and I am looking for a fun and friendly, but neat and tidy house and/or apartment. I am also interested in teaming up to find a new house together! A similar age group would be great, who are open to a drink after work and socialising! I love cooking, coffee, and a nice glass of red :) I've been living on my own, so I know how to take care of/clean up after myself. Message me if you want to have a chat or want any more details about me!
Hi I'm Leah, I'm 32, and about to move up to Sydney from Melbourne (previously lived in Sydney a few years ago too - hopefully moving permanently this time). I'll be working full time in the city in conference coordination. I like to catch up with friends on some weeknights/weekends (Thai food is usually involved), and love going to the beach, but equally like to relax at home internetting or watching TV - currently obsessed with The Chase Australia, and by the way, if you like Seinfeld or Arrested Development, we will probably get along well ;-). I'm quiet and respectful though, so you'll never see me playing loud music or blasting a movie in surround sound. I'm looking for a flatmate who is the same. I'll be bringing my TV so I will need a room with an aerial outlet.
**ROOM HAS BEEN FILLED** Hey potential future housemate! We are Amy and Megan the current tenants of our beautiful three bedroom apartment in Waverton!! We are currently searching for a new housemate to join us (bonus points if you bring along some good bant and wine! – or spirits we’re not fussy :) ) The Room/House: The room is an enviable one in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a beautiful view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It currently has a double bed and a desk in it (will be unfurnished when you move in) with quite a bit of room left to move around which is helpful as it does not have a built in wardrobe. You also will be sharing the spacious main bathroom with one other. The apartment is bright and sunny with double glazed windows so it doesn’t get too hot or too cold. It is fully furnished! So no need to bring anything along with you other than the furniture for your room! In relation to location we are a 3 minute walk from the Waverton shops and train station, a 10 minute walk from North Sydney CBD, a 20 minute walk to the nearest ferry at MacMahons Point and a 15 minute train ride into the city. We currently have a weekly cleaning roster in place so the house is always kept clean and tidy! The Nitty-Gritty: The room is priced at $277 per week which includes unlimited broadband internet. Given we pay rent on a monthly basis, this equates to $1,200.34 per month. You will be required to pay a bond equal to one month’s rent when you move in. If you could also pay one month’s rent in advance that would also be fantastic! If you have a car you will be able to park on the street or if you would like our neighbor and good friends downstairs are renting out their garage for $35 per week! It will be available on the 9th of November (but potentially sooner if you need). We only pay for the electricity in the house which is not very expensive and is a quarterly bill. You will not be on the lease but will be subletting through us under the full knowledge from our wonderful real estate agent Phil!
I m a very clean, organized friendly and happy person. Always without good mood. I work everyday and also study at night, so people will see me only at night and in the weekends morning. I m looking for a flat with nice and friendly people.
Hi, I'm an easy going adventurous, curious person who likes diving, enjoying various cultures and cooking. I moved to Sydney from Belgium a year ago and I work full time as software developer.
Hi, Myself and another female are current tenants of our clean, bright and quiet apartment in Waverton. We are looking for a new housemate to fill in our empty one bedroom of 3. Room and house: The room has a large window & can be opened. Bedroom comes unfurnished though there is a built in wardrobe with draws & railing to hang clothes. Apartment will be lacking a couch, table & chairs for the next month but we will be furnishing it at some point so you are welcome to contribute :) Currently there are basics in the kitchen: fridge/freezer, microwave and basic utensils A few minute’s walk down the road and you're at the Waverton train station - very cool. Level 1 (though not ground level) in a 3 story brick apartment building Charges: The room is $270 per week (includes internet). Power approximately $84 each quarter Bond will be approximately $1,620 ($1,080 + 2 weeks rent of $540 as rent due right about the time someone moves in). Note: - said “approximately” as entering a new lease agreement - photos of room yet to be taken - sorry!
Hi, My names Victoria, 25 years old & a extroverted introvert. I work Full Time in North Sydney in Administration. Try to live a healthy/fit lifestyle but also enjoy letting loose every now and then. Hoping to find a suitable place to move into by November. This will be my first time living out of home. Max $300 rent + bills. Not interested in shared rooms. Would like to live with people aged between 20 - 30years old. Interested in North Sydney & surrounding areas.
I have recently emigrated to Australia from South Africa. I am a Electrical Engineer and I work in North Sydney. I am a firm follower of "clean as you go", that way things don't build up and become a chore. I am out-going and sociable. I like playing PC games, socializing and doing stuff with friends, and I am a big fan of the outdoors. I am a relaxed, fun to be around and easy going guy :) Im looking for a private room in house/flat share with bills and internet included, must be within 1km of a train station and must have a washing machine for ~$300 per week, furnished or unfurnished, and must be large enough to accommodate a Queen bed and desk. Hope to hear from you :)
Hi I'm a Chinese, came to Sydney about 8 years ago to do a degree and stayed on ( fall in love ) with this city since then. I now work full time in North Sydney in telco business. I've been sharing with my family friends and uni friends so I know the deal. No smoke no pet no home party, keep the common area clean after use. Mutual respect. I am very tired of commuting (crossing the harbour bridge/tunnel during peak hours and paying for tolls) so I am looking for some where close to work. Most of the weekdays, I live a routine life. On weekends, I like catching up with friends for a coffee or a drink, doing some shopping or playing some tennis. I am also learning Japanese at the moment. If I am not in a high mood (too hot, too cold or too windy outside), I would just stay in PJ, make myself some comfort food and stream a movie alone. I get along with most of people as I am just like most of people-- I work, go out, enjoy good food and wine, love movie and sports; get motivated by both beautiful handbags ads and inspiring people's stories, struggle between a delicious cake and fitness, sometimes gossip, but honk at dangerous overtakings every single time (still a p plater) I am trying to be a minimalist, with a cool mind and warm heart. If the above looks not too bad, send me a message. I can move in late Nov or early Dec.
Recently bought a place in Waterloo that I've been living in this year while rennovating. I've always lived on the north shore and looking to rent my Waterloo place out from March 2017 and move back to the north side. I work full time in marketing, love to have a drink and a good time, especially love live music and festivals. I'm respectful of others, clean, tidy and easy going.
I am very considerate and easy-going person. I am an architect who enjoys surfing, and now am moving to Sydney from Melbourne. I am super easy to live with, unless you are a total mess and do never clean up after yourself. Im looking for a place either close to my work (CBD) with off or on-street parking or at the beach, but close to a train or ferry.
I'm fun, love to cook and love a balance between socialising and a quiet night in. I just spent the last two years living in a share house in London and we always had a blast. I studied Interior Design at uni and am working in Outdoor Media. My role is for two months in Sydney and after that I will potentially be moved to Melbourne. I love to go on adventures and try new things. Sometimes the most spontaneous of ideas create the best weekends. Would love to live in a house with people with a good sense of humour, reasonably clean and love a chat over a drink here and there.
I'm a fun-loving, but reasonably quiet young professional (female) that's moved to Sydney from New Zealand. I work in consulting. Of Indian origin, I've grown up/lived in NZ for the past 16 years (for those who like to know this sort of info!!). I love to explore, learn (proud geek!), love food - eating and cooking, keen to know about different cultures. Honest, fun, outgoing, easy to get along with, clean & tidy and I know that rent and bills need to be paid on time! :) While I am not a party animal, I love to get out. Certainly not the 'always in my room' kind of person, but I do enjoy quiet time as I will be working from home on occasion! I have a mature outlook on life, can get a bit philosophical (!!), can chat about most topics, enjoy healthy discussion, but definitely respect others' views and privacy. Happy to kickback with TV or a book or just music and a chat! I intend to make Sydney my home for the foreseeable future. Keen to find like-minded people who are welcoming, friendly and keen to meet someone new!
Hello! I am Giulia, an italian girl. I moved to Sydney 4 months ago and I am actually working full time and soon (from October) I will start evening classes. I am looking for a single or shared room. Cheers.

Hi, I enjoy talking and sharing experiences. Some friends told me that I'm a good cooker (especially Peruvian food) and also a clean and tidy housemate. I'm looking forward to meeting great people to share a flat or a house.
I recently relocated to Sydney after studying and working in Los Angeles for the past 5 years. Originally, I am New Delhi born and raised (yes, if we become friends and should you visit India, I'll show you the Taj Mahal). I work as a Management Consultant at a reputed firm, and relocated with them from Los Angeles to Sydney. I am looking for a room in a shared accommodation. Ideal flatmates would be clean, tidy, friendly, and fun to live/hang out with. I like to go out occasionally, but also don't mind kicking in and chilling at home. I drink socially and don't smoke (although I am fine if others do, living in California didn't give me much of a choice if you catch my drift...). My interests include playing tennis/golf, swimming, hanging out with friends, watching movies/tv shows, even reading (yes, in this century, I know). Looking to move in as soon as possible, preferably Oct 7 or onward. Look forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Krishna
Hi future flat mate or mates :) I've recently moved from Perth to Sydney. I got an exciting job transfer with the company I was working for in Perth. I am an accountant by trade (but not by nature haha). I am originally from South Africa and moved to Perth in 2013 with my family. It has been a big life and career move for me but I'm ready for my next adventure here in Sydney! I am easy going and I can get along with most people. In my spare time I'll be exploring the city and I'm a keen surfer so I'll hopefully catching some waves up and down the coast. I'm super keen on getting out and about and meeting people and discovering all which Sydney has to offer. Please feel free to contact me if you'd think that I am a suitable flatmate. Feel free to ask for references etc. Thanks, Jaryd PS: If you're and AFL fan...I will continue supporting the Fremantle Dockers but may consider going to a few Swans games.
We're an easy-going, friendly couple from Melbourne, taking a working holiday to Sydney . I (Tess) am in Sydney for 6 months working as a designer/artist with a small creative agency in North Sydney and Justin has a 4month rotation with Telstra in a graduate role. We're both very sociable but like our down-time too. Just looking for a friendly household to join!
28 year old full time lawyer working in Sydney. I'm looking for a place closer to work. I like the outdoors, gym, soccer, hanging out and having a drink. I'm a respectful housemate and like to learn more about others.
Hi potential house mates, I'm Danielle- I moved on the weekend from Brisbane to Sydney, relocating for work. I now have a week to find somewhere to move to. No pressure (although the company have a townhouse so if I need to stay longer i'm sure that can be arranged). Full time employment and so easy to live with (in every housemates opinion). I have an English Staffordshire so the place MUST be pet friendly (have had a few messages saying I can move if i don't bring the dog..). I study and work over full time. Busy bee but rather content that way.
Just looking for a room to rent relatively close to where i work full time as a hairdresser in Mosman. clean and tidy person, moving from North Sydney as lease is up. easy to live with, I like to have a bit of a cook, I don't smoke and I enjoy a drink. more of a morning person but I am very relaxed.
