I’m 21 from Townsville and moving down to Brisbane for uni. I’m a pretty bubbly person and can get along with pretty much everybody. I like to keep things clean and tidy. I’m pretty flexible on most things room/ bathroom/rent/ location ect. I also have a small cat that I would like to bring with me but am able to leave her here if I need to. I work part time at Woolworths and am transferring down there from the 1st of February so moving around that time but again pretty flexible on that.
Looking for a new place in Brisbane. Currently studying at QUT. Working part-time as an aircraft mechanic and a bartender. So I am busy most the time but keen to hang out with the flatmates. Love travelling and sports. Travelled more than 10 countries.
I'm 20 and working part-time in West End. My work week is Wednesday through to Sunday. I love travelling, hiking, beach trips and a cocktail or two with friends on the weekend. Quite social but I love some down time too. I also try to live a relatively zero-waste lifestyle so I'm quite tidy.
The unit is right next to a bus stop and near the West End ferry stop. There are shops and cafes near by and a Saturday market in walking distance! The room you will be renting is large enough to fit a king size bed and a desk and draws. There is a built in wardrobe that is also quite large. You will be sharing a bathroom with Madison, but it is also sizely. The living area and kitchen is open and clean with a small balcony! I have enjoyed living in the unit and I’m sad to leave!
I love music and pop culture. I live in a small country town right now, but in May I’m moving to Brisbane and start to study a graphic design course. I’m a full time outside smoker but I do like to keep my space nice and neat and I’m always willing to help out. ☺️
Hello future roommates! We're Paulina and Ricardo, a couple from Chile living in Brisbane. We've been here for the last six months and we love the city and its surroundings areas. Now we’re searching for a new place to move ideally until mid November 2019 (a little flexible). We're both civil engineers in our late 20s and like to practice sports, especially outdoor sports. We consider ourselves friendly and sociable, but also very respectful with others and their own space. We like to learn about new cultures, meet new people and learn to cook new things. Ricardo works 9 - 5 Monday to Friday in the city and Paulina works part time close to the Matter Hill Hospital. During the week we like to relax at home after work, practice some sport and cook dinner with an occasional glass of wine having a chat. During weekends, we like to search different activities to do such as riding our bicycles, do a picnic or bbq in some beautiful park, escape to the coast, looking for salsa lessons or meeting with friends for sharing a BBQ/drinks. We have some furniture which we would like to bring to the room, but it’s also possible to not take it with us. So we’re very flexible for both options (furnish/unfurnish). A little more about us. We love coffee, especially filtered coffee in the morning and if you want we can teach you our way to prepare it. We like to prepare typical cocktails/food from our country and watching live music bands. If you feel you have a room that will fit good with us, please send us a message. Cheers, Paulina and Ricardo
Hey :) I'm a clinical psychologist in training, moving up to Brisbane soon to start my Masters at UQ. I'm a chilled Christian girl from Sydney and am looking for a home with likeminded housemates who are big on building community. In my spare time I love painting, having a wine, spending time in nature, and adventures! *At this point I am planning to move up in early Feb, but can be flexible and move earlier for the right place!
I study a Bachelor of Education at UQ, as well as work 2 casual jobs in the city, so I'm normally running around and busy during the week! I've lived in Brisbane for 2 years and moved here to study, lived out of home since I was 18 so know how to take care of myself and the home I'm sharing, and love a clean house. Always open for a chat with the housemates and to do stuff together when we're free! On the weekend I love adventuring and heading straight to the beach or catching up with friends. I'm looking for a place with similar aged people that are friendly, clean and sociable, but also appreciates a bit of down time during the week as well.
My name is Viv, and I’m 21 years old. I’m social, tidy but not a neat freak, and always ready to meet new people and try new things! I’m a law/psychology student studying at QUT, but more than happy to live with other students from any uni
Hi, my partner and I are looking for one bed flat or independent studio for us to live. We would like to have a quite place to get rest after work but also close to the city center to enjoy Brisbane entertainments. I'm working for Volvo Truck in Wacol in the engineering area. Free time I'm usually spending with my friends. After work I like to work out in the gym. I love to ride a bike and snowboard in the winter time. We are tidy and we would like to have a clean apartment. We also like to spend the time on the balcony, where we usually have our meals.
Hey, just have to move out due to the owner having their parents move in with them. Into chilling out and watching TV or doing temporary work at home some times. Easy to get along with. Like my music and getting away on the weekends. Prefer furnishing. No grubby flatmates please. Over 30+ preferred.
After a two years, unfortunately our landlord has decided to sell the property. So at the end of January 2019 we will need to find two rooms. Your place looks pretty great. A little about me I guess, I love to bake but I don't love eating baked goods so I hope you're ready to get showered in sweet treaties. I'm incredibly average at art but I do love a good crafternoon with my pals. I binge only the finest shows(self-proclaimed) Netflix has to offer. I can't go past an op shop without taking a cheeky look inside. I'm always listening to music and do love a good groove in the lounge room - however my dance moves are a cross between an 80's disco and something equally as terrible. I'm always keen for a board game, hang or adventure. You'll also be be living with Darcie (a super groovy gal with an eye for opshop goods and a passion for all things artsy). Darcie works full time as a barista and you will be guaranteed to catch her dancing/singing to 80s bangers should you move in. I'm sure that I've missed a million things about us but I'm sure you'll get to know them if we get the chance to live together! Happy roomie hunting 🌸
Hey hey! I am moving to Brisbane in early February with work and consequently need somewhere to sleep and prepare bolognaise. I am a full time Civil Engineer and am usually quite busy between work, exercise and socialising. I am looking for a place that is kept organised and has respectable and fun housemate/s.
I'm 18 but mature for my age, very independent, non smoker and I enjoy a social drink at the weekend but I will be concentrating on my studies during the week, I am also very laid back & easy going. I will be studying music at Tafe so I will be singing and playing my guitar (not loudly and not late at night) I am planning on getting a job and getting gigs around Brisbane. There will be weekends when I will come back to the coast to see my family and friends so I wont be hanging around the house/unit all the time. Looking for somewhere to rent close to the South Bank Tafe campus
Hello everyone, my name is Stefan, I am 26, and an Economics student at UQ. Despite my age, I am going to study here in Brisbane for another four years and am looking for a new home for the coming years. I would consider myself as humorous since I laugh a lot at my own jokes. I am originally from Germany and my biggest weaknesses are good food and drinks. Other than that I am easy going and always up for anything fun.
I will be moving up from Sydney to Brisbane in March 2019 for full-time work. Working as a lawyer in the CBD so will be pretty busy in the week. I am looking for a place close to the city and to live with people who are house trained (easy going, clean, socialise with flatmates but also capable of doing their own thing). Ideally in a modern apartment with the usual amenities. Looking in particular in Fortitude Valley and New Farm.
I’m a bubbly, respectful, down to earth gal! I always clean up after myself and always in a good mood! I love going on adventures and being outdoors. I am a bartender in the valley so I’m at work from night til early hours of the morning! I am hoping to live in a nice relaxed environment where everyone gets along and enjoys a few beers together every now and then. I love trying new things and making the most out of all the activities Brisbane has to offer so if you’re keen to join that’d be awesome! I’m obviously aware of personal space and alone time, but I don’t want to live somewhere where no one talks to each other and there’s negative energy.
Relaxed and easy-going flatmate looking for somewhere pet friendly! I work full time, have an active lifestyle and generally keep to myself, but am always up for a sneaky beverage or life chat. Am looking for a place from as little as 3 to 12+ months.
(Current photos pending) Full disclosure, it's next to Dornoch Terrace so can be a bit noisy. Great things about it? It's next to Dornoch Terrace! Walking distance to City Cat and various West End's restaurants and shops, 2 minutes away from direct bus to UQ and City. This place offers a great location with all the amenities (but no aircon) at an affordable price. House is furnished; all you need is your bedroom furniture. Bills will be split two ways for gas, electricity, and internet. The room will be available on January 4th, 2019.
