Hey! I'm a female student from Germany and I just started my Masters in Entrepreneurship & Innovation at UQ and am looking for a room in an appartment in West End close to public transport to UQ and preferably riverside :) I would also be open to team up and lease a new apartment in West End - would be a plus if you have some furnishing already! Looking forward to meeting you!
Currently looking to move closer into Brisbane due to work. I am 39, a non-smoker, and do enjoy the occasional drink. I am a relatively quite person and easy to get along with. I go to the gym at least 5 times a week and enjoy cooking when I feel inspired.
Hey guys I'm currently studying 3rd year full time (double bachelor of creative industries/business at QUT) and working part-time in retail. Looking to move closer to uni into a shared house. I'm easy going, keen to make friends, would love to live in a sociable environment where we can have a chat or hang out occasionally. But also love my own quiet space to relax and recharge in-between. In return i'll be respectful of your space. Usually pretty busy with study and work but every now and then I like to have fun and go out to gigs/have some drinks/outdoor activities/anything involving food etc. I have a 14 year old dog Missy the border collie who i'd love to bring with me (she's usually an outdoor dog). But if that's not possible she can stay at my family home. If you want to know any more just ask!
G'day g'day, Twenty-three year old from the Sunny Coast here. Having just arrived home from the vortex that is Central America, I'm putting in the hard yards to earn back all that I've spent on tacos and tequila, but am currently having to commute to Brisbane for work. Open to residing just about anywhere reasonably close to the city. Not wanting to lock down anything longer than a six month stay at this stage, and ideally would like to stay off the lease as I'm not sure what the later part of the year holds for me just yet! Flexible moving dates between Feb and March 2018. I'm super easy going, friendly and open minded. I work in the disability support field and currently care for a legendary little dude in Greenslopes, but have a crack at music production/DJing on the side. Bonus points if you share a passion for bangers! Also love travelling, having a yarn, brewskis, cooking up mad vego meals and I'd love to meet ya mates. I'm looking for a somewhat sociable home where a drink/laugh/meal can be shared every so often. I've lived in all sorts of beautifully sticky situations, from a 1984 Ford motorhome with five of the best lads you could know, to a four bedroom flat accommodating fifteen big personalities and a colony of small rodents (it was as fun as it sounds), so I'm very used to sharing living space while also being considerate of other's needs, privacy and belongings. To be honest, those I'm sharing with matter much more to me than the place itself. I'm all for sh*tholes with good vibes! If you reckon I'm fit for the job, I'll be going off like a bucket of prawns in the hot sun to hear from ya. Lucy x
Well, I'm a civil engineer and also an English student from Colombia. I’m 31 years old. I've been living here for more than one year. I'm easy going, kind, tidy and respectful. So, I’m looking for the same from my flatmate (s) and a place which I can call my home.
**Available to rent for a short term while I am overseas (27/4/18 - 12/6/18)** We have one bedroom available in a modern, secure, resort style apartment complex, right on the river in West End. There are 3 pools (one a 25m lap pool), 2 gyms and entertainment areas with BBQs. A number of bars, restaurants, cafes and the West End Markets are also within walking distance. It's super close to bus stops and the ferry too! The apartment is furnished with a queen bed and has a huge built-in wardrobe and aircon.
Hi! I am a clean, considerate tenant. I have lived in a sharehouse for four years but now that I am a young professional (recent graduate in finance and economics) I would like to rent a two bedroom apartment with my friend. Hobbies include reading, netball, chess, hiking, volleyball, snowboarding and knitting (I took it up while listening to lectures in university). Please consider us as tenants for your property and if you have any questions or would like to meet us, please do not hesitate to do so.
Hi! I am Kristine and I am from Norway. I live in Brisbane with my australian boyfriend Kirra. Our lease is expiring in march and we’re looking for a new place, however I am leaving in june so ideally we want to find a place where Kirra can stay after I leave. I work part-time in the city and my boyfriend works monday-saturday as a tradie. We both go to the gym, I like to cook and watch netflix/youtube and Kirra likes to play ps4 and play soccer. If we have the weekend off we like to go down the coast for some surfing and tanning. We dont really drink but dont mind if you do. Were also thinking of starting a new share house (around 200 a week each bedroom) if anyones interested. We’re both very chilled, easy going and clean people. Would like someone who could commit to at least a 6 month lease contract.
The place has a great location, quiet and friendly neighbourhood, and close to amenities such as West End shops, pubs and restaurants, the Brisbane river, pubic transport, and in walking distance to southbank parklands and the city.

Hello, my name is Sally and I just graduated from Bond Uni, plan to move back from Gold Coast to Brisbane to be close to my friends because I used to study at UQ for two years. I’m a easy going person, currently focus on my academic English language test so I need a quite place with good internet for daily practice. Normally I would like to spend time with my friends at weekends to hang out, jogging or hiking. I come from China, can speak Chinese, English and Korean. And I would like to find a ensuit or own bathroom room. I would happy to talk with roomies at any time but also respect the others. If you have a great house to share please let me know, I’m currently live in Gold Coast but could drive back to Brisbane every three days. Thanks
Heyo! I'm in my final year at UQ studying community development and economics. I have an obsession with food and love a casual bev every now and then. I will cook food that will make the whole house smell delish. I love living in social houses and having a good laugh but love my own space and respect other people's space. I'm no bullshit so ask me anything :)
Hello, my name is Shannon. I’m currently living in Newcastle NSW, and looking for a place within or near the City of Brisbane. As I’ll be moving by myself, a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment would be suitable. Preferably a place near transportation services (buses, trains, etc). I can pay rent and bond straight up in advance. I have been looking for an apartment/place for quite awhile and kept struggling because I don’t live in Brisbane to visit the offers but I’m willing to travel and make the effort to go to Brisbane by train or plane if necessary to see the property and meet you before moving in. I’m willing to come to Brisbane to meet up with you in person in order to see whether or not we get along before arrangements. Paying rent on time will not be a problem however, I have not rented before (apart from off of my own mother, as I paid fortnightly to stay in her home). I do not have any rent experience as I never rented before with real estates, property owner’s nor landlords ect. I want to move out and become independent, meet new friends, socialise also it will be a bonus if you are into the gym as I’m in need of a gym partner. I need to work out since my goal is to lose weight (as I do have a belly) I apologise beforehand for being upfront and honest about myself. :] A little about myself is that I like to watch movies, tv shows, etc. I’m into video games like preferably Xbox One, I’m a fan of anime such as One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto Shippuden and many others. I currently seek benefits however once moved in, I will be looking for TAFE courses to apply to get my qualification, I’m currently looking into hospitality cooking or other courses to study that I’m into. If I sound like the perfect person that you will possibly get along with to rent and befriend, don't hesitate to message me if you have an questions. You can contact me by messaging me on here or send me a text message on my phone. I will get back to you as soon as possible. It would mean a lot if you could give me an opportunity. Thank you for your patience and to reading this. I really appreciate it and have a nice day :]
I am a graphic designer student from Spain (Barcelona), who will stay here for at least one more year. I would like to find a single room to have my own space after sharing during a couple months, which wasnt bad. I am really passionate with photgraphy, nature, music, cinema and proper beers. It would ne perfect to live in a young environment where people is proactive to do plans as well as being able to keep the house clean. Cheers!
Hey! I’m Diana, I’m 20. Looking for a place to stay next Wednesday morning, I work 3-4 days a week. I’m easy going, friendly and happy so I’m wondering if you can help me out please? Need a place to stay ASAP thanks .
Hey all! We are an American couple URGENTLY seeking a place to live! Our move out date is March 1st (YIKES! I know!) Jakie, "speaking" here, I am a freelance photographer, working casually in hospitality, and my partner Joey is a PhD student at QUT studying submarine volcanic eruptions. We are both easy-going, relaxed people, who like to have fun and meet new people. We have a grocery-getting, coast-trip mobile that would like a space to park (on or off-street is fine with us.) We like taking weekend trips to the Sunshine & Gold coast, having movie/tv (harry potter, steven universe, game of thrones, etc.) nights in, and cooking nearly everyday. If we sound like your cup o' tea, hit us up! We need a place to live ASAP and are willing to move in as soon as tomorrow! Cheers, Jakie & Joey
Right on Orleigh Park on the river, in the quietest pocket of West End. Cross the street and you are on the bike and walking parklands that link West End with Southbank and the Cultural Precinct. 30min walk from the CBD and a short cycle via Kurilpa Bridge. The hub of West End is walking distance as well as frequent bus service and Citycat stop. The room is in a separate apartment on the bottom floor of this home, it is very seperate and private as it has it's own entrance. The apartment has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, lounge, eat-in kitchen, generous laundry and private back courtyard and verandah. The room has it's own large ensuite and walk-in wardrbe. It is fully furnished and equipped and Internet and all bills are included for $275. We are looking for a single to share with 2 professionals in their late 30’s. Sorry no couples. Not a party house, but a friendly quiet environment to take advantage of the beauty and convenience of West End. For more information please contact Phill.
