Hey all, My name is Connor. I am a post-graduate student from the United States studying conservation biology at UQ. Love to go hiking/tramping, anything involving nature and the outdoors. Looking for a share house or apartment with some social people who get together occasionally for dinners/hang outs/ and going out once in a while. At the same time however, I am not looking for a party house. Open to sharing a house with all guys, all girls, or a mix.
Hi there, I am a honest hard working, respectful, non smoker who enjoys a casual beer/wine from time to time. I work in hospitality and come July I will also be studying visual art full time at TAFE. When I am not working/studying or tending to my many plants, I enjoy visiting family, going on adventures, hiking, snowboarding, arts & crafts, and attending gigs and festivals. I enjoy a clean and tidy house. I am easy to get along with, and although friendly and out going, I do appreciate my (and your) privacy. I have lots of indoor plants so I am ideally looking for a bright room. I am a Vegetarian, LGBTQ and Pet friendly.
Hello, We are a couple who came to Australia on April 24th with our Working holiday visa. My name is Julie I am 24 years old and I am French and Alessio 27 years old, Italian. We both come from the restaurant business and in life we are two people who respect our environment, the people around us. Since we arrived here we were with two other friends who decided to move from Brisbane but we never had any problems with them, we live very well the common life. Sharing the common life is essential for us, shopping, cleaning, cooking and we pay attention to our hygiene. We adapt to any situation. We are relatively open-minded people, we understand the need for privacy and/or tranquility so if we want to parties, have fun or something else we go to bars, we go outdoors, apartment if the roommate or roommates are willing to do it at home, we are very understanding and know how to be discreet. Cheers
Hi everyone! I’ve been offered a great opportunity to transfer within my current company, but this also means I’ll be moving to Sunny Brisbane from Arctic Melbourne! ....so it wasn’t a hard decision really. I’m looking at moving up anywhere from late August to mid-September this year. While this is a permanent move, at this stage all my belongings are going into storage so I’m looking for a fully furnished, self contained unit/apartment/granny flat on a temporary basis until I find my feet and know my way around a little. I’m an incredibly tidy 45yr old woman (going on 35 in my eyes! :-)) who loves a wine or 3, works hard, is extremely dependable, independent with no children or excess baggage. However with all that said, I have well and truly compensated with a very well behaved (and slightly overweight) Sausage Dog, and one beautiful elderly rescued Cat who sleeps 22hrs each day. They are best friends and coming along for the ride. Our QLD office is in Cannon Hill so I’m looking for something probably no more than a 20min drive away. If you think you may have something suitable then I’d love to hear from you.
Hi, I'm Liv. I'm a 24-year-old architect/interior designer recently moved back to Australia after 3.5yrs living and working in Germany. I'm originally from the Gold Coast but am looking to move to Brissy for work. I'm a non-smoker, bit of a health nut and super tidy. I would preferably like to live with people in their 20's who would be up for a chat, glass of vino or occasional dinner. When I'm not working I am usually either doing a gym class, or counteracting it by cooking/baking up a storm.
Hi. I'm starting PhD in July, and looking for somewhere to live long term. 200 dollars per week, give or take 20 bucks or so is what I'm looking for, including utilities and internet. I'm looking for somewhere homely and stable, not so transitory. I would prefer to live somewhere with more mature people as opposed to a party house. I love to cook and I usually do all the dishes right after I've finished. I like to prepare my own food but don't mind sharing some meals. I like to cook Central European, Thai and Persian food. Would be ideal if you have a place where I could install my chin-up bar. I do have kitchenwear, some furniture and household items, but could probably sell, use or store these.
Heya I'm Lauren. I'm good. I have a little cat called Ahri who is very shy but a good girl. We need a home with a happy vibe to live in within the inner suburbs around the city where I work mornings. 3 fun facts about me; I have no olfactory nerves (therefore no sense of smell). I can slip out of police handcuffs. If I were an animal I would be a lemur. Things I am interested in spending more time doing include; yoga/ stretching, baking, scenic bike rides/ runs, gaming, maintaining pot plants, outdoor activities such as kayaking, making pretty bad art, working out and taking up a sport. Things I already spend a good amount of time doing; recycling, cooking average meals, reading, rearranging my bedroom, playing league of legends, scrolling on my phone, watching netflix, op shopping and not moving while my cat naps in my lap. My catter is an inside only girl so we need a home with people who will be mindful of keeping doors shut. We would love to find a place with a fuzzy friend or two for her as she has lots of playful energy. She had a small dog sister for a while whose company she mostly enjoyed, though it would likely take her a little longer to adjust to a larger pet or one who may be aggressive. My core housemate values 1. Keeping the kat inside 2. Interpersonal communication 3. Cleanliness 4. Recycling 5. Healthy balance of socialisation and alone time Some house sharing related things about me; I keep butter on the bench for spreadability. I highly prefer dishes stacked beside the sink rather than in it. I hate wet bathmats and hair in the sink. I aspire to have cold water in the fridge at all times. I take my tea white with one and often. I enjoy sharing meals. I have a thing for aesthetic lighting. I have lots of pot plants.
Hi, my name is Elmie I am 26 years old and looking for a room to rent from the 6th July. I am moving to Brisbane from Airlie Beach to study Design full time through Tafe. I'm a very easy going kinda girl who likes to keep my parts of the house clean and tidy. I am a massive animal lover and really enjoy being out in nature. On my weekends I like to enjoy a glass of wine at home and watch a movie, or go camping with friends and sometimes on the rare occasion I enjoy going out for a dance. I am looking for housemates that are easy going, clean and provide good company and good chats around the house. I'm flexible with suburbs in Brisbane however I'm not wanting to travel too far to get to Tafe in Mt Gravatt. Look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
