I'm Jake, a UX writer originally from Manchester who loves swimming, cooking, yoga (when I can be bothered) and writing - whether that's UX stuff or my own short stories, poetry and so on. I'm moving to Melbourne and will be free from the 14th March onwards. Top 5 things I'll want to do when I get out there are: 1. find some good places to eat 2. get some contract work 3. Start cooking for my flatmates 4. make some new friends, and take them to places I found in 1 5. Get out into the local spoken word/poetry scene. If you can help with any of those or, even better, want to live with me while I discover all of those things for myself (and you!) then hit me up. As long as I have my own room I can work the rest around that :) Let me know if you want to chat! Jake
I'm Skye, 19 years old. I'm studying VCE 3 days a week and am currently looking for work. I'm on centerlink, but will be doing a four week hospitality course so i can work in a bar or something like that. I tend to spend my days studying, gaming, cuddling kitties or watching the latest movie or show on netflix. I'm really hoping you're fine with cats too because i'm hoping to get a kitten as they help with my anxiety and sleeping. :) I look forward to chatting more with you.

Hi I'm Sophie :) I'm clean and tidy, friendly and easy going. I like a chat but also know when housemates need their space. I've been living in share houses for quite some time so I'm good with paying rent and bills on time and respecting others things. I have a 4 year old whippet who is very lazy and very cute - I'm looking for a pet friendly place. She is an inside dog so I need to find some housemates who like doggos.
Hey there,I am looking for a layed back home with a good vibe.Im extremely reliable and clean around the house.Always up for a chat but like my own space and respect others space. When I’m not working l like yoga and am interested in the spiritual side of things.
After spending the past two years back home in Geelong, I’m looking to spread my wings and leave my Sleepy Hollow behind for the big smoke! My name is Gene. I’m 25, queer and looking for a place to call home in Melbourne. Formerly a social media guru up in Sydney, I returned to my roots to act as a full-time carer and now am needing to return to work - but the commuting from down south-west is far from ideal! Bringing with me over ten years of experience living in shared and independent housing, I already come broken-in as a domestic goddess and am hoping to settle into a peaceful environment with some likeminded, LGBTIQ+ friendly and/or Friends of Dorothy. When I’m not out volunteering, working on my photography portfolio, strolling through a local art gallery/museum, enjoying a peaceful walk in nature, camping or heading out into town to have a coffee with friends; I like to spend my downtime at home practicing cartography, reading, talking politics or spend a quiet evening in with a Netflix binge or playing a game on my PS4. I’ve lived in an expansive list of shared environments and do prefer the quieter, homely side of living these days. If you’re looking for a quiet, respectful and considerate person who refuses to smoke indoors (and can quit/not smoke on-property), can never say no to having the odd house family meal or glass of wine - let’s chat!
Hey, I'm Tash, I'm 40 but get mistaken for late 20s by a bunch of people, what a chore! I'm not your average 40 year old - Kind of a nerd and not as mature as society dictates haha! I have lived in the UK since birth, but have holidayed/traveled a little as well. I'm hoping to move to Melbourne on a semi-permanent basis (to start with) early next year (2020). So the visa process takes time and money, which is why I'm doing the groundwork now to get an idea of prices and places to look to live for my first year or two :) I will hopefully have more of a definite moving date from early March when I find out which Visa is right for me. I work as a chef in Cornwall, so cooking is a big part of my life. I'm actually a chef who doesn't mind doing the dishes! But the pay is terrible and the quality of life can be tough going, hence the wanting to move.. I'm friendly and easy going. I enjoy a few beers, watching movies, music, animals, outdoors, eating new foods, video games and travelling when funds and time allows. I've a good/dry sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh with like minded people. I'm looking for some where nice and friendly to live outside of the CBD towards Williamstown. That's where I lived for a few months the first time I visited Australia in 2006 on a working holiday visa and fell in love with the place! My second time was this January and visited Williamstown a bunch of times.
Hi, I'm Jorge, 29 yr old from Chile. I'm friendly and easy going, looking to live a year in AU starting in Melbourne. I'm very respectfull with others and clean too. I like soccer and share with friends when possible !!
I'm a pretty easy going chill person to be around, I enjoy my own space and time and also hanging out with positive people. I try to stay pretty physically active, whether it's basketball, mountain biking or hiking. I work full-time as a Consultant in Richmond. I try to spend us much time in nature as possible. I like festivals.

Hi! I’m Rose, I’m 25 and I work in Port Melbourne 3 days during the week and on the weekends. Looking to move closer to work/city. I’m respectful and easy going. Looking for a nice place with cool people to call home.
Hello there, I am looking for a very clean place as I believe in living in a hygienic home when it comes to your own dwelling being the only place on earth where one would feel the most comfortable. Kindly excuse me for not being much of a pet lover, I am a non-smoker and non-druggie, but do not mind catching up for a chat & drink at times. You would find me being pretty much busy at work or doing my own things. I am a very clean and organised soul and you will always find myself being really tidy and If you are looking for someone similar then lets give each other a chance.
I’m currently living in Spotswood however, I'm looking for somewhere to settle for 12 months. I’m quiet, respectful, very tidy and know when to give people space. I like to swim and go to the gym and I work in the city full-time as an Analyst. I don’t smoke and my party days are well and truly over so looking for a very peaceful place.
The house is very well presented and has all the creature comforts you would expect. Brand new kitchen. Brand new bathrooms. It has a lovely out door area with a barbecue. Low on maintenance north facing courtyard. Air conditioning and ducted heating throughout. This home is in a beautiful part of Melbourne in the bayside suburb of Williamstown where you can walk to both the foreshore of all the Yacht clubs, cafes and restaurants or the swimming beach. Bike and walking tracks are a plenty. Literally at the end of the street you will find many cafes, supermarket, banks, post office, gyms ,chemists and a good supply of other retail shops. My home has two bedrooms of which one is leased already, one available priced at $310 per room for a single person or $450 per room for a couple. One of the brand new bathrooms is shared by the two rooms. So when the other room is vacant you have sole use. I have my own ensuite. Parking is on street directly at front of house or in public car park two doors up. Preferably 4 month minimum stay however shorter can be discussed and negotiated. This room has been booked from July this year for six months so is now available from now until July only at this stage. Internet , Netflix, electricity, gas and water are included in the rates. PLEASE NOTE: A current police check and reference from past landlord/ Homestay owner are required.
Hello, I am looking for someone lovely to find a house with. I'm 26, I work full time as a high school English teacher. I like hanging out by myself, but that said I really enjoy going to bars with friends and I have watched basically every film so I am an ideal housemate. I'm clean but not neurotic. I pay all of my bills on time. But I will watch hours of YouTube of cats pushing things off of ledges. I did the math and as a single introvert I can save money either one of two ways. I can: A) move into a share house with lots of people, which I have done before and it was OK but I just feel like it would be a nightmare after being by myself for so long or B) find a person who is nice and we can find a house together. I like option b because that way we can both make the place ours. Or C) find a couple cool people to live with.
My name is Ben, I'm 40 years of age and work full time at Court Services Victoria. I'm currently living in a share house in Williamstown which is coming to an end. I am looking for a new place to move in in the inner west area. I am a non-smoker, responsible in terms of paying my bills and keeping my house clean. I am looking to move into a house where others doe the same. I hope to find a house to share with like minded people who might enjoy having a chat, occasionally share a meal every now and them, but also enjoy their own time. I am fairly chilled person who enjoys meeting friends for coffee, travelling and practising Tai Chi. I am also a avid reader, and film buff who enjoys going to the movies and the odd Netflix binge session. I'm into plants, especially succulents, and staying fit by going to the gym . I am looking for a home environment that is relaxed, stress-free and mature as in not a party house).
I am currently looking for a room or teamup in the inner west as I just started work in Altona as an engineer. Have experience with house sharing. Relatively quiet and always up for a conversation. Looking to move in asap.
I'll clean up after myself, not noisy and I don't mind doing the dishes. I work as a energy consultant for jemena. I Like drinking, videogames and going for long walks at the beach. Never late on rent either
Hi there! My name is Tanya. I'm 36 years old and am often described as calm and positive. I have been living in Seddon for a little over a year and unfortunately the landlord has bigger plans and I need to move out. I really love the area so would like to stay in the 'hood. I have my own business as a life coach, working 1:1 with clients (over skype) and running personal development workshops. I also do some freelance writing and editing. I divide my working time between a coworking space, cafes and home. I like yoga, cycling, dancing and am studying astrology. I am share-house trained after years of living with many different people. I'd like to live with people that I get along well with and who does their dishes etc. For me, my home is where I chill out, relax and recharge. While I'm happy for people to have friends over to hang out, I'm not up for big parties. Let's meet and see if we click!
