Hello! I am a nursing student and usually work in health/cosmetic medicine or temp in offices (until degree is finished). I need a house with a yard with grass. I am making the move from Syd where I have held a lease for years and had my mix of good and bad flatmates. I don't really want the hassle of managing a house and flatmates on my own anymore. I have a house full of cool antique and vintage furniture in storage which can come with me or stay there. I am a good person to live with. I take quick showers, bathroom is tidy after I use it. If I cook I wash and dry same night, wipe down and no food in sink! I empty bins, tidy as I go etc. I keep to myself but can be chatty if you feel like it. I have a very good sense of humour. I come with two quiet dogs. I don't have people over or make noise. All my flatmates have loved my dogs. They would need a corner in a living room for their day beds or a really large bedroom so they could have beds in there. Believe me they sleep a lot. One is a greyhound and one is a mix. No barking, very good in the house. May raid bins if given access, so they have to be supervised if kitchen is open or bins on floor. Never any accidents in house. They don't smell doggy as regularly cleaned. A covered area in back yard or access to a garage would be needed for when I am at work so they can be dry and warm. I am extremely responsible and hard working so all bills and rent are paid on time every time and my dogs have the best of care and no responsibility is on anyone else in house to care for them. I have lived with 19 year olds up to mid 50's. I do Taekwondo and weights. My two best friends live in Yarraville. I love being busy and in my downtime I watch good drama or home Reno shows :) I like to eat out as well. I have been known to down G&T's or champagne and come home drunk once in a while after dancing all night, but that is rare these days, I lean to the left in my politics and would probably like a house that recycles etc..
Hey! My name is Kevin and I will be moving to Melbourne in mid January. I'm from bayside Brisbane but spent the last three years finishing Uni in Canberra. I've lived with others since I moved to Canberra so I'm pretty good when it comes to communal living and stuff (No, I won't steal your pizza from the fridge). Ive shared houses with both guys and gals as well. I have a job already sorted so bills won't ever be a 'next week' issue. I'm super friendly as well and enjoy most things fun in life! I love watching movies, snowboarding, surfing, playing soccer and Im a very well travelled person (will be in Austria in December). My ideal flatmates are people that I could socialise with. I'll be busy at work most days of the week and most of you would be too but I'd hate to live with people I couldn't even say hi to or share a movie with. I'd say I care more about who I'm house sharing with than what the house is like. Would love to have a dog so if you already have one I'll treat it like one of us. Also cool to start our own houseshare. Just realised you cant even message anyone on here without having to pay. Feel free to shoot me a message on waterfordwest08 google mail

Myself and my friend are coming to Melbourne on Jan 14. We both have completed engineering. We both are looking rooms at an affordable amount. We both are jovial and adaptable to any situation.
Manon and Vanja, 2 professionals working full time in Finance and Health Care, in our late twenties. Both sporty, neat, easy going and pretty happy to relax around some drinks and good food after a busy day/week at work. While pretty social, we know to respect that everyone needs their own space and has their own life. We are looking for a house that feels like home and nice, professional, housemate(s). Feel free to get in touch if you think we would get along! Cheers, Manon & Vanja

Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. More recently, I have been focusing on my music composing and looking at how I can use my skills to generate an additional income whilst doing something that I have always loved. Initially, I have created alliances with video game developers to provide background music, but I have always wanted the music I write to be more uplifting than to purely motivate people to slay the purple dragon and find the blessed magic brussel sprout (Clearly with that description, I don't play video games - but hey... that is a great idea for a game yeah??) I'm currently liaising with wedding planners and wedding celebrants to provide personalized music that couples can use as part of their wedding day. Songs that not only express how they feel about each other but promote this love and excitement in others. But, the desire to make people feel special goes much deeper than this. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. (You are welcome to listen to it). So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - I hope I can do that more. I'd love to set up some kind of not for profit organisation where I can write individual, personalized music for people purely to help remind them that they are important. I'm leaning towards the name 'Every Note' because when it comes to music, each note works together to create an overall piece of musical truth and beauty. I think that is just as applicable to people. Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. Plus, I think music in its various forms, is so influential on people individually, yet at the same time joins our collective souls. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I also enjoy doing woodwork as a hobby - although I'm pretty bloody useless at it - but it doesn't seem to have lessened my enthusiasm for some reason. Not sure why that is. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times - but I still tend to get excited over someone saying "Hey.... why don't we....." which usually results in a "*#@^ yeah! That is brilliant" I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and I also make a point of trying to do volunteer work where I can - that has previously included cleaning out, washing dog yards at the RSPCA, being a welcomer/cuppa person for people attending the Salvation Army who are experiencing difficult times, to try and make them feel at ease, Hon secretary for community support group and I am currently volunteering as Treasurer for a not for profit, community support group. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn

Hi, we're moving to Melbourne early Feb 2017. We are two lovely Scottish nurses looking for a place to stay not too far from the city, close to public transport. We would make great housemates, we are clean and tidy, considerate and reliable and are used to living with other people. We're fun and friendly and are looking forward to meeting new people in Melbourne. We are looking for either 2 rooms or a room to share. Hope to hear from you soon! Pamela & Mhairi x
I'm starting my film major at Deakin in 2017. I'd love a place anywhere reasonably close to the Burwood campus. I'm pretty chilled, easy to get on with.I'm keen on some alone time but I love to have a laugh over a few pints! Plus I've got amazing taste in music and film's. I'm into outdoor stuff, camping, exploring and clubbing. I'm a half decent cook and I'm obsessed with cheese. 🤗
Gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 story townhouse located in the main strip of Williamstown. Walk to cafe and restaurants and only 200 meters to the Williamstown train station. I work long hours and travel a bit for work. Preferably I am looking for someone who works fulltime! At this stage only looking for someone short term ! I am a 41 year old female who works in the corporate world, outgoing but also very private. Please make contact if you are interested!
Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne Feb next year to study and take casual work whenever I can. It will be busy so you might not see much of me, but I am easygoing, reliable and clean :-)
Just returned from 4 and a half years living in London where I enjoyed the social nature of a share house. I am a primary school teacher and will be starting a new job in Werribee next year. Looking for an established share house or someone to start a new one with. I like to keep myself busy and would hope to have a person to share a drink with at the end of a work week. Good luck and hope to hear from anyone interested.
I am a 27 year old moving to Melbourne to start my new job at the beginning of January. I am very easy going, super clean, love cooking, going to the gym and definately enjoy a glass of wine or a beer. I enjoy getting out and about socializing with friends but also like to chill at home for a quiet night in. I also have a dog - Bobby the cocker spaniel who id like to bring along so a house with a yard is ideal. If you think I'm someone you would like to get to know and live with please send me through a message =) I am hoping to move down at the end of December !
My roommate and I are looking for short term accommodation from January until our house is ready to move into. We are both clean people and work/study. Alternatively, we are willing to team up with somebody long term instead of moving into our place. I will be starting study in January and will need a room by then. We are willing to pay around 200 each (400) for short term accommodation.
Love sharing my cooking, finding new coffee spots and having the occasional wine/cider. Love reading, playing board games, having a good chat and going on day trips to the country. I like a healthy balance of exercising (gym, riding my bike, yoga) and binge watching tv series. The usual - pay bills on time, easy going, respectful, clean and tidy.
I'm very neat and tidy, I keep to myself most of the time but I do also love socialising with other people. I unfortunately don't have a large budget as I'm only working a casual job and don't get many shifts per week. I'll be starting my studies at Deakin Burwood next year and hoping to look for a place close by!
we good guys we love helping out in the house we like parties and we like to drink wine and spirits
my partner and l are looking for a room that hopefully we are able to bring our cat and dog with. l am (Aidan) an apprentice plumber and work 5 sometimes 6 days a week but have a RDO every second Monday although sometimes l will work them. My usual hours are 7-3:30 or 6-3:30. My partner (Annalee) works part time as a cleaner while also studying allied health. Our dog (Polo) is very quiet and also very affectionate and cuddly. our cat (Bobby) is also very quiet and affectionate and cuddly. The cat and dog don't have a problem with eachother and aren't really too bothered by eachother. we would love to bring them with us but it isn't crucial that they come as they can stay at my parents. we're pretty easy going and clean, especially my partner.
Hey! I am a Scottish Lad who is currently Living in Perth. On my last R&R I went to Melbourne for a week and fell in love with the city. I am looking to move to Melbourne early next year, Feb/March. I work FiFo on the Wheatstone gas plant in Onslow WA on a 3/1 Roster so I would only be living there one week a month. I am however looking to get out of the Industry and this is likely to change after May. I am very easy to get on with and am a big believer of live and let live. I love meeting new people and socialising, however I also like to have time to my self and respect other peoples wishes for the same. If i was your flatmate I could promise you a lot of fun, plenty of laughs and likely a friend for life. I will try anything twice and enjoy most things, I have a wide and varied taste in music, food and well....pretty much everything lol. I enjoy cooking and like to keep a clean living space, however I am not anal about this as everyone has different standards. I am looking for a comfortable place to stay in a Beautiful city and hopefully an amazing Friend(s) to share it with.
Easy going, but definitely a fan of cleanliness and good hygiene! I try to live an active lifestyle, enjoy running, sports and travel. Socially, I love live music, dining out and sporting events. I like a cold beer on a hot day, or a glass of wine after a long one! Smokers don't bother me (I am not one) just prefer to keep it outside, please. Family and friends are very important to me, but most of my family live in Qld and NSW, so there aren't any drop in visits to worry about haha. I try not to take life too seriously, but do value basic respect and consideration. I work full time in business operations support and am a hard worker, always paying my own way and happy to help out around the house. Aside from that I would just say I am a people person, love to chat and have a few laughs, but definitely appreciate some quiet time during the busy week.
I'm a very clean and respectful person, I clean up after myself and also others. I do smoke but intend on quitting, and I never ever smoke inside the house. I have a car, so a car space/parking proffered. I love animals. I most probably will hardly be home as I work during the days and at nights I generally am busy with rehearsals and gigs or other jobs. I do enjoy a good conversation and I respect other people's privacy as well as personal space. I do hang out with my friends a lot/dance crew as they're my only form of family here. Very friendly and outgoing person also. That's just a quick jist of things, any questions please shoot me a message!
Hello! My name is Miley.I'm a very well-organised person who always likes to keep everthhing around me tidy and clean. I am an easygoing and very diligent student. I don't smoke, and I don't have any bad habits either. I usually do some reading in my spare time. I also enjoy watching TV and going to parties at weekends.
I'm from Italy but I'm an Albanian girl. I work in retail. I would like to explore Melbourne and other places in Australia, I would like to do different activities. I like to go out sometimes in the night and have fun. I really love music and photography. I want to make friends and to meet people in this beautiful city. I'm looking for a house to share with someone, I'm moving around 15 January (flexible).
Hi potential housemates! My name is Tamsyn.Or, just Tammy for short. I'm a 21 year old full time animal studies student, currently working 2 jobs in the city. Living out of home for a while now, I understand the ins and outs of share housing. I am respective of others' space. I keep my things tidy and clean, plus I don't mind helping others out around the house with chores ect. I have always payed bills and rent on time with no dramas with a steady income. The best way to describe me: I am and little shy at first but when I come out of my shell, I love to chat and make new friends. I love cooking and baking (however I may or may not be terrible at it) I'm not a party animal, I'm generally quiet and keep to myself, however I don't mind going out with my friends on the special occasion (and even then that's if I'm not working since I work weekends lol #hospolife) Usually most nights you'll catch me reading a good book, binging on a bit of netflix or playing some Xbox. I also like to keep fit by going to kickboxing with my partner once a week I work in both a bakery and a bottle shop so sometimes I bring home goodies 😉 if that doesn't convince you I'm not sure what will! 😁 I am a non smoker and have no pets (however I do love animals) and definitely not into drugs whatsoever. I am looking to complete my diploma next year 😊🐶 busy busy busy! I am looking for somewhere preferably in the western suburbs as I've grown up my entire life around the west, however due to work, I don't mind the possibility of other surrounding suburbs. whatever can get me to flinders street easy and I'm happy! Ideally I am looking for flatmates that are of similar age to myself, 18 - 30 ish who are like minded, friendly and respectful. I am looking for a private room with a BIR, and, by a stretch, private bathroom. However I'm not fussy at all about having to share a bathroom 😛 Anyways if my long paragraph didn't scare you away and you think I'd make a rad housemate, please feel free to send me a message ☺ Please do not call or text me on my mobile, message me through flatmates, I am (almost) always monitoring my account so I'll get back to you asap.
I'm Mel and I'm Malaysian born but have been living in Australia for the past 5 years. Moving to Melbourne for work early January 2017. I am an easy-going, happy-go-lucky kinda girl :) I'm always open to making new friends and embarking on new adventures in life. I absolutely enjoy outdoor activities aaaaand artsy stuffs! :D P/S: Only looking to rent a furnished private room in a safe suburb, with a secured parking spot (either on a driveway or garage). An ensuite would be a plus point! I'm also open to team ups with like minded people :) Only messages please. No calls will be entertained.
My boyfriend and I are looking to move into a quite house with friendly and tidy people. I work in hospitality so am often not around on the weekend and evenings and my boyfriend is a first year apprentice so he does a lot of over time and Saturday work. We are very much a private couple and with our work hours often not corresponding we tend to spend a lot of our time together just watching movies and hanging out. But we don't mind having a chat or a quite drink every now and again. My boyfriend is from Melbourne and I was born and raised in country NSW. My boyfriend is a massive Star Wars and Lord of The Rings fan as well as loving his football. I am a massive animal lover and enjoy my own comany... you will often find me on the phone chatting to my family who all live interstate. We both regularly go to the gym and binge watch our favourite TV shows, we pretty much save all of our money for our next holiday. We hope we are an ideal couple to live with.
