Hi there :) Looking to move ASAP! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy train access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
We are a couple from the UK, looking to find somewhere in the western suburbs until the end of June. We do enjoy a sociable drink but are definitely not big party people and would both prefer to enjoy a nice meal or watch a movie. Hoping to find somewhere great to live to see out our last few months in Australia :)
Hi I'm Sean, I'm 23 and work part-time as an admin assistant in the CBD. My working hours are 9-5 Monday to Wednesday. I'm also in my final year at uni so on Thursdays and Fridays I try to go on campus to finish what I need to for the week. I like to keep it pretty chilled during weekdays and spend the weekends catching up with friends, playing tennis and being out and about. I'm not so much into clubbing or having massive messy parties in the home. I'm relaxed, honest, respectful and tidy. I guess the ideal housemate would be someone that's relaxed, open-minded and honest. I'm a positive person and enjoy being social but also appreciate my personal space.
Rent includes all bills and internet - no need to worry about dividing up the bills etc - all you need to buy is your food and personal needs. Very comfortable and light Victorian home within walking distance of the train station, beach, shops, restaurants and pubs. Relax in the back garden, or on the front verandah in the afternoon sun. If you're a smoker, you can smoke away outside :) The room is fully furnished, and has plenty of storage space for your clothes and books etc. Living areas have good heaters and the shower is amazing! I have a gorgeous cat and this is enough pets for the household.
I am Diana, 28 years old, professional in international business originally from Colombia. I have been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years, student and part-time worker. I am looking for a long-term accommodation in a private room. I consider myself an organized, responsible, respectful, trustworthy, kind and easy going person, non-smoker and very pet friendly. The reason why I am moving is because I have sharing room for a long time and it is moment to have my own little space, but continuing to share a home with nice people. To find out more how I am like, I do enjoy watching movies and documentaries, musicals and going to the theatre, reading, dancing, catching up with friends and outdoor activities.
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I'm quite a bubbly person and I adapt well to almost all situations. When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym or I'm napping (nurse life). I love spending my time off exploring new places, creating things or going out for a few drinks with friends. I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how my shifts are. I love having a chat but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me :)
Looking for a place to call home for the next three months, usually work long days and sometimes weekends. Like to socialise and meet people, always up for a chat and a catch up especially if it involves cake. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I'm Jack, a 23 year-old qualified botanist (BScHons) that enjoys gardening, cooking and bush walks on weekends. I work full time as a consultant in Port Melbourne and am currently living in Kingsville. As my lease is coming to an end, I'd like to find a place close to work. Lets catch up for a chat!
Hi, I’m Belinda I’m friendly easy going and very clean and respectful I am looking for a quiet home to share with people who are respectful of others personal space and property. I do enjoy spending time together over meal or tv. While at home I enjoy my privacy. I work well with clear schedules and sharing responsibilities of equal house work.
Hi I'm Riccardo, 29 years coming from Italy. I'm in WH so I'm looking for a place to stay for the next months. I'm a quiet, super clean, respectful, cool and easy going person. I'm working full time so I won't be home for most part of the day, but when I'm home I love to cook and share a glass of wine or a cold beer. Since I'm a clean and respectful person I always keep my stuff in order and I keep my place clean and I always pay bills and rent on time. Cheers
Hi there future flatmate, I’m Jade! I’m looking for a place to stay within 8km of the CBD preferably. I’m a chatty outgoing, independent soul who loves to - travel and discover new heights – this includes finding great places to eat! I love to socialise but also respect your privacy, I am clean, honest and trustworthy and just looking for some genuine housemates who down to earth and up for a laugh, if that sounds like you let me know! Any questions please ask! Thanks, Jade.
Former IT Project Manager. Recently transitioned into a construction related industry while I get a couple of business ideas (art related) into fruition. Love travel, especially to Europe. Self-confessed Francophile. Enjoy going out but nothing wild (I know, hard to believe given my former IT career) - prefer a drink at a funky bar than a kicking bar. Surf once a month. Love antiques and history, plus weekend drives to country farmer’s markets or just exploring book shops. Very neat. Very clean. Handy with a toolbox. Enjoy cooking. Quiet and respectful of others space. Prefer a place with one other person within the area bordered: CBD, Williamstown, Maribyrnong, Carlton. Love animals so pets are okay, and I can guarantee if you have a pooch it’ll be putty in my hands.
Hey mates! I'm Alex, 29yo from Italy. I work fulltime in Derrimut and I'm interested in you room! I'm clean, tidy, single, non-smoker and I can do everything in the house. I like to play music(bass) and I love cars and motorbikes. I love traveling as well and chilling with friends, I'm always easygoing and helpful!
Petey: young, male, ridiculous. Looking for a place to live in the West to live and thrive, in for the long haul. Currently staying with friends in Emerald, but very keen to move back to the inner West area. Why would anyone want to live with me? I strive to be reliable in all aspects of my life; currently employed full time in an ongoing role at Melbourne Uni; I pay bills when they are due; and I like to go on alpine adventures as many weekends as possible so I won't be a home-body mooching around the place. Happy to share chores, even on a rostered basis, since I'm not perfect and I am OK with reminders and structure. I like to keep things clean and do not like laziness in myself, so maintaining a tidy house keeps me happy too. Sharing expenses is totally cool with me, since that's why we sharehouse, right? No pets at the moment, but only because I wouldn't be around to care for them for them enough. But more than pet friendly, I am the kind of person who takes off at parties to play with the cat or dog. Day to day I try to keep active but my mind is great at making excuses to not go to the gym. Instead I keep fit in other ways that I find more fun/interesting, like climbing, hiking, mountaineering, and trail running. Have a little car, and I love the independence it gives me, but feel guilt over the carbon footprint. One thing I would really love about moving back to the inner West would be the opportunity to ride or run to work each day, so having somewhere to keep my bike safe would be a plus. Not a big drinker at the moment, but I feel like I have done my time in the past. However it absolutely does not bother me if other people enjoy it; I get it, beer and wine are delicious. It is more about personal choice, and to be honest now that I'm getting older it just puts me to sleep. I volunteer for two emergency response organisations as well, and my hobbies keep me engaged with life and out of the house a lot. With all that I have going on, I am pretty busy, and sometimes I need to remind myself that it is OK to have a weekend off in front of the TV with a good film or two. Um, what else? Thanks for reading if you made it this far. Hopefully I sound like the kind of person you could live with!
Hi, I'm Leanne. I'm 34, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I don't get up to too much during the week because I work long days. I like a few drinks & to socialise but also like time to myself. I've got a lovely little cat called Frankie. She is well behaved and house trained. Looking to move around the 10th March but I can be flexible with dates.
I'm originally from Langwarrin but live in Williamstown for Uni. I work in childcare and play in a band. I love sport and the outdoors. Living with people can be intense so I think the main recipe for success is respecting privacy and being clean.
I’m a registered Nurse. I’m very easy going and mostly spend my time working or at yoga. I do love keeping the household neat and tidy and hate mess! I love being around my friends and enjoy eating out and trying new food.
ABOUT ME I'm 25 years old and work full time as a Social Worker with DHHS. This generally keeps me pretty busy during the week and I prefer quiet evenings on week days as a result. On weekends (and sometimes fridays, if I can get away from work on time!) I'm a social person, enjoying a good chat and a glass of red with housemates, catching up with friends and the occasional BBQ or house gathering (but nothing too hectic!). I also like bike riding, hiking, camping, scuba diving and the beach. I'm pretty easy going and straight forward. I'd like to live with similar, like-minded people who don't mind a couple of dogs moving in as well. P.s. - I come with Nextflix and a yearly Costco membership. THE DOGS I have 2 dogs - Vespa and Nox (featured in profile picture) - both girls. They are both purebred boxers whom I compete regularly with in obedience and confirmation showing. Both dogs are fully house and crate trained, they don't bark unless there is need (or, occasionally, when they play). Vespa and Nox are very affectionate, friendly and enjoy the company of people. Nox loves playing fetch with a frisbee and Vespa would play tug-o-war all day, if she could! Both girls also love a good cuddle and will happily Netflix and chill all day. Vespa and Nox generally spend their days in the yard, but I tend to have them inside with me when I'm home. They are walked/trained for 30mins each every morning and on weekends I generally take them on adventures with me.
I want to hook up with someone wanting to rent a house together. Renting a whole house is much cheaper than renting a 'room' and we could both have some of our personal things there....pictures ect....... I love yardwork, outdoors, am respectful of others. I am older..58...but young at heart! Work full time and have two grandchildren that would occasionally visit. Male or female fine. Would love a house with a little bit of a yard and parking. I work in western suburbs so want a place out west. Lets look together. Connie
