Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I'm a young professional from Brisbane who has been living in Melbourne for a year now. I work 2 jobs, have stable employment and love my work. I'm looking for somewhere close to Highpoint Shopping Centre and public transport.
Hey everyone my name is Viktoras and i am 26Years old male. Recently the house i was renting got sold and now i have to find a new place to live in. Trying to find a private room around West of Melbourne something closer to Melbourne Airport cause of work as APO. Recently finished my studies and hopefully something where i could park my car as well I would prefer a place that decently quiet and so on as i do not party myself or cause any drama. I am very tidy and neat person that looks after the things regardless if their mine or not "treat it as your own". With a house or private rooms i don’t mind who owns or lives in a house Males or a Females i can guarantee that we will get along just fine as i am very social person and easy going. I do love working on computers on my free time and occasionally play a game or 2. Contact me for more information.
Easy going, responsible and independent. I work full time in the city. Books are my biggest weakness, I love them. That's why I now have an e-reader and library card. I have a small well trained house dog. She's a cavalier x papillion, non barking and friendly. Loves other dogs and non-scary cats. We have walks twice a day and I never use the terms, pet parent or fur baby. Non smoker and no drugs.
I'm sociable, tidy and laidback. Grew up here in Australia, so I'm very much tied to the aussie culture. I'm a graphic designer working full-time in Collingwood. Definitely an avid binge watcher but also love the outdoors and sometimes need a good drink or two! I like to keep a healthy and try to keep myself busy. It'd be awesome to live with someone who I can be friends with, are tidy and loves the occasional shared meal. I'm also cool with pets so there's no issue there.
I've recently finished working in the mines and have landed a new steady job in construction, Melbourne. I'm currently commuting from my own home in Ballarat to work and need a place that's a bit less travel to/from work. I have 2 of my own dogs, a 2 year old male staghound and an 8 year old female greyhound. Both of which are rescue dogs never used for hunting. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gym, motorbikes, playstation and a good glass or bottle of red wine. I enjoy my own company so I'm happy to do my own thing, I also enjoy mingling with new people so I'm happy either way. I've been looking after a whole house myself, so I'm used to cleaning/tidying/housework. Length of stay would be around 12 months plus.
I want to hook up with someone wanting to rent a house together. Renting a whole house is much cheaper than renting a 'room' and we could both have some of our personal things there....pictures ect....... I love yardwork, outdoors, am respectful of others. I am older..58...but young at heart! Work full time and have two grandchildren that would occasionally visit. Male or female fine. Would love a house with a little bit of a yard and parking. I work in western suburbs so want a place out west. Lets look together. Connie
I'm Annika, a 23 years old full time student at Melbourne University. I spent the past 6 months on exchange in Denmark (Copenhagen University) and now that my time here has come to an end, I'm looking for a place to move in 😊 A bit about myself: I grew up in Germany and am bilingual and generally interested in picking up new languages..currently Danish 😁 I love being creative and am an outdoorsy kind of person 😊 I enjoy socialising but also appreciate some alone time..especially in busy times (exams etc 😕 ). I'm responsible, clean and tidy and have lived in a shared house in Newport for 1 1/2 years and before that in a shared house in Ballarat for a year. I am not a party person, but enjoy a jolly chin wag (always) and a drink every once in a while 😀 I don't smoke! I'm very reliable and it goes without saying that I always pay rent&bills on time. What I do on weekends: Going for a road trip (if I find friends with a car haha), anything outdoorsy, catching up with friends, studying and working 😀
I am a 30 year old architect from Perth living in Melbourne for the 2nd time. I like to sail and read and cook and make things. I ride my bike everywhere, except for when im on my two man canoe.
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I'm quite a bubbly person and I adapt well to almost all situations. When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym or I'm napping (nurse life). I love spending my time off exploring new places, creating things or going out for a few drinks with friends. I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how my shifts are. I love having a chat but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me :)
Hi, I'm Leanne. I'm 34, from England. I work full time as a Dental Technician Monday - Friday. I'm very chilled and easy going, clean, tidy and respectful. I don't get up to too much during the week because I work long days. I like a few drinks & to socialise but also like time to myself. I've got a lovely little cat called Frankie. She is well behaved and house trained. Looking to move around the 10th March but I can be flexible with dates.
Former IT Project Manager. Recently transitioned into a construction related industry while I get a couple of business ideas (art related) into fruition. Love travel, especially to Europe. Self-confessed Francophile. Enjoy going out but nothing wild (I know, hard to believe given my former IT career) - prefer a drink at a funky bar than a kicking bar. Surf once a month. Love antiques and history, plus weekend drives to country farmer’s markets or just exploring book shops. Very neat. Very clean. Handy with a toolbox. Enjoy cooking. Quiet and respectful of others space. Prefer a place with one other person within the area bordered: CBD, Williamstown, Maribyrnong, Carlton. Love animals so pets are okay, and I can guarantee if you have a pooch it’ll be putty in my hands.
