What could be better than living in Williamstown?! Living here you are a 3 min walk from the trains, a relaxing 10-15min walk from shops, cafes and restaurants, and the 'piece de resistance' - a 1 min walk from Williamstown beach and its cafes; perfect for a dip after those long, hard and sweaty days at work! It genuinely is a lovely spot to be! Your room is a comfortable size with space for double bed, blackout roman blinds, and you own west facing balcony! You are more than welcome to bring your own furnishings, but I am happy to negotiate something if you don't want to be buying your own yet. The bathroom/laundry is opposite with good size shower (hot water on demand!) and washing machine, and toilet is separate. Kitchen is a reasonable size with plenty of storage, good sized fridge/freezer to share, clean cooker and four seater dining table. Lounge is nice and bright, with comfortable sofa, tv - with Netflix, Stan and Amazon Prime (streaming) ;), and xbox (if you're interested!). The flat is on the first floor and has a good size balcony - perfect to chill out with a bevvie after that dip at the beach!! NBN (50/20 Mbps) is connected and included in rent. Split-system air-con is installed in the main living space as is ceiling fan. All this for $220 pw (paid weekly)! I am requesting that you pay 2 weeks rent as bond, and 2 weeks in advance, ie $880 up front. I have no requirements for length of stay, just that you give me 2 weeks notice. Bills are not included, but I do not expect them to be any more than $10-20 pw.
Nice and large furnished bedroom available NOW, on the 2nd level of a brand new townhouse located in a quiet area and close to everything. $250/week with ALL bills included (Internet, electricity... no extra to pay). The bedroom has a single bed with mattress, a bedside table, a desk + chair, a huge wardrobe + air conditioner / heating and a window that provides ample lighting and overlooks the crocket club and the railway. The window has double glass so even with the train nearby it is pretty quiet. The main bathroom is just next to the bedroom and is not very used as we have an ensuite. We only ask you to keep the main bathroom clean and tidy as guests would use it when they are home for a visit. The house is fully furnished (except that we have no TV). On the rooftop terrace that overlooks the city and the bay you will find the BBQ. It takes approximately 20/30 minutes to get into the city by train and the train station (North Williamstown) is within 2 minutes walking distance - very convenient. Buses are also available nearby. Coles and Woolworth are just a 10/15 minute walk away with also cafés, restaurants and other shops/ services close by (gym, hospital, library...). The main beach is only at 10/15 minutes walk. Perfect in summer!

The front of the house is a free-standing, double-fronted Victorian with a really interesting extension on the back, constructed from mainly recycled materials (you have to see it to appreciate it). In this way it's a bit like a mullet: business in the front, party in the back. The house is really light-filled with three bedrooms and a study, plus a rear lounge / kitchen (with walk-in pantry) and a ridiculously massive bathroom. If you wanted to work from home and use the study we could also work that out. Currently the third bedroom is a second living area but that is also flexible. There is also a big, grassy backyard with a garden shed (and a very neglected veggie patch), which is delightful for summer BBQs and beery chats. About the area: Well, it's Williamstown innit!? I really love living here and you will too. The house is 5 minutes walk from Williamstown train station. It's the end of the line so you always get a seat in the morning, all the way to work (suck on that fancy Yarraville people!). You can see the sea at both ends of the street, which I think is delightful. We are very close to Point Gellibrand for some really nice walking. 10 minutes walk to the swimming beach and the kiosk, which has excellent food and coffee. If you choose to go in the other direction, we are about 6 minutes walk from Nelson Place, so get ready for summer evenings eating fish and chips on the grass and fighting off seagulls and loose children. Seriously though, the people are here are fantastic, you can smell the ocean (which is mostly good) and there's a great summer-time vibe. I mean, you can walk down and go for a swim after a long day at work...that's pretty great.
Enjoys a good time out just as much as a good time in. Full time worker, play footy during winter and lives outdoors during summer. I think I’m funny even though I don’t usually say much. Helper, clean, respectful & always up for anything.
Hi Everyone, 50 year old professional straight guy. Spend most of my spare time outdoors engaging in endurance sports such as trail running, triathlons and mountain biking. When not out training or exploring, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, markets and winery trips. All this means I am not home much, however I am house trained and house proud, owning a few properties myself in NSW and QLD. Not into drugs of any nature and only occasionally have a few drinks. Not looking for a party house however am hoping to find a mature, fun, lively environment, clean and organised - a place to call home! Over the past 8 years I've shared with one other in various different homes, with each lasting over 1.5 years - ranging from girls in their 20's to 40's, including a mum with her 8 year old son, a guy and his girlfriend etc. Usually out of the house by 6am and often not back much before 7pm. Have National Police Clearance Certificate (NPC) and references. Thanks Andrew. PS - thanks to the dozens of people who have contacted me offering a room in a share houses that will be occupied by 4 people and more. Whilst I appreciate the offers and promises of order, cleanliness, and no anti-social behavior or sad sacks, for the last 6 years I've always found a place living with just one other person and prefer to pursue this option for the time being. Thanks again.

Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 21 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)

Hi I'm a 37 year old from Bairnsdale in East Gippsland and I'm currently looking for a short term room to rent around the Altona area. I will be working 10 hour days 6 or 7 days a week at the Altona refinery for around a month. I'm willing to pay extra rent for the inconveniance of a short term stay. I own my house in Bairnsdale so I'm very considerate of other people and their belongings. Also being from the country I show a great deal of respect and curtisy to others and hope to get the same in return.
Clean, Friendly, Always respectful of other ppls space. I work fulltime and most weekends so barely home. spend alot of my spare time at the gym also. I'm the sort of person who will probably just hide in his room watching Netflix after work. Thank you:)
We are from Chile, we've come to study english for one year or maybe more :) We love meet new peoples from other cultures and share own.
My partner and I are 22yo and our friend Kyle is 18. We are all very relaxed, opened minded, and are looking to move closer to the west/north side (with some exceptions). I work in Australia post in sunshine and currently live in a Pakenham (It’s insane I know!!). We are all relatively private people, and like our own space but do love to socialise and hang out. We all love the outdoors as well. My partner and I have a dog named Hannibal, he just turned 1 and don’t let the name fool you, he is the biggest sook for affection ever. He just wants love, kisses, cuddles, and maybe some of your food ;) (but don’t worry he does not beg). He is fully house trained, very obedient and short furred. Brad is currently studying and looking to work with me after his studies, hopefully by next year. Ideally we would like to all have a room of our own, but my partner and I are also happy to share one larger room together. Being close to public transport would be great, as none of use a car. Closest to train stations would be ideal, if not any buses work too. Hopefully we are what you are looking for :)
