Hi, My name is Carrie, I am 24, from Adelaide. I will be moving up to Brisbane in 2019 to study a Masters of Teaching. I am looking to move to Brisbane in early to mid February. A bit about me, I like to keep fit and love the outdoors, I am tidy, organised and mostly keep to myself but love a good chat and wine on weekends. I keep fairly busy and will be looking for a relatively quiet household during the week when I am studying. Happy to socialise with my housemates as I will be new to the city.
Hi! I am a Primary School Teacher looking to move into the Alderley/Newmarket/Windsor area. I am a cheerful, fun-loving and respectful person who is know to be the 'clean one'! I love singing, music and cooking. I enjoy a good chill and a few beverages on the weekends! **unfortunately air-conditioning in the room is a must!
Hey! I'm Abbey, and I'm a soon to be fourth-year nursing/paramedic student. I have 26 weeks of placement to complete within the next year and I also work as a disability carer so I am a busy gal 99% of the time. However, I love the occasional chat and don't mind unwinding over a drink after a long week. I come as a package deal with my beautiful bulldog Thelma. She had a rough start at life and is a very human orientated dog, so, unfortunately, we won't suit a house with another pet. I am flexible with move-in dates, length of stay and location (I'm happy with anywhere in Brisbane ). I'm tidy and respectful etc etc. Would love to hear from you soon!
Hey there potential housemates, I'm Will, 26, currently working two jobs and undertaking my real estate registration certificate. I hope to attain a job in the real estate industry as early as possible next year, and considering studying part time alongside that. I'd like to think I'm responsible, respectful and clean, and understanding of other people's needs and privacy. I'm always keen for a chat at the end of the day or making food with housemates every now and then. Basically a genuine and inclusive environment is great, and everything else would fall into place. In my spare time I like to go to the gym or do some type of exercise each day (only started recently to be fair haha), watch football (English Premier League), read real estate development books (I know, very boring to the average person haha) and trying new coffee shops or new foods at the markets. Anyway, if you have any more questions or would be interested in discussing anything, don't hesitate to message me :) Will.
I'm an electrician working fulltime. I like to keep fit and spend time with family and friends. I am social and enjoy the company of others but am also respectful of other's privacy and need for quiet time. I have a 2 year old labrador x staffy dog named Travis. He is fairly large at 35kg but a joy to be around. He loves other people and other dogs and is toilet trained. He is kept outside when I am not home but likes to spend time inside when I am home. I would like to live in a house maybe a townhouse with a nice big yard for Travis. Open to living with other housemates who also have dogs. If we sound like a good match don't hesitate to hit me up!
I am a genuine, honest person. Pretty easy going and very clean/house proud, I've been in my own place and am looking to move somewhere with a yard and aircon and more people 😂 I love a good chat and an adventure! I like learning languages and doing puzzles. I have a cat called Archie - he's like a teenager at the moment - he'll love you and then leave you alone. I'm looking for a housemate who has similar traits and wants to join in on making the house a really homey, friendly and supportive place to live 😊
As a working professional, I'm pretty quiet during the week. In my free time and on weekends I'm generally out and about seeing friends, brunching, yoga/pilates, hiking, markets. I'm tidy and respectful and value my down time but I also think it's important to have a good friendship with the people/person you are sharing a home with. I own a couch, washing machine and a cherished moroccan rug I bought in Morocco recently! Also have the kitchen essentials pretty much covered. Ideally I would like to find someone like-minded to team up with and find a place of our own. I'm hoping to move January and looking to stay around the inner northern suburbs. Reach out if you want to catch up and see if we would be a good fit.
Just putting some feelers out for rooms available end of January 2019. I'm a single female professional who works full time in the city so preferably looking for somewhere walking distance to public transportation. I'm pretty easy going, quiet and respectful. I have an adult cat, Reggie, who is happy being either indoors or outdoor depending on the property.
I’m a little quiet and shy, So I like to keep to myself and give others their space. I like to keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I love to cook, and would happy to cook for other people too.
Hey, Looking to move early Jan from my current apartment- would prefer to stay around the Windsor area. I work full time in sales, study business full time at QUT & train most afternoons so I'm not home heaps. I generally keep to myself, but down to hang out & grab a beer or a feed. Looking for an easy going housemate who's relatively clean & drama free to find an apartment together. Let's grab a coffee & have a chat
I am a 29 year old female. I work full time during the week as a Dental Nurse. I have a very friendly 1 year old mini foxy so it’s very important I find a place that will be suitable for her as well. She is use to being home by herself during the day and when I’m not working I pretty much take her wherever I go. She is toilet trained and I also have a removable doggy door for her. I’m easy going and like to keep to myself however wont mind the occasional glass of wine with new housemate. I like to keep clean and tidy so taking part of house hold duties is no issue for me. Ideally I would like my own bathroom but sharing isn’t a major deal if I find a great place for Ruby. I need a room that’s available from 17 January either short term or long term.
I am easy going and very clean. Enjoy quiet time during the week as I work full time. Love to catch up over a glass or two of wine on Friday's. Also love gymming, so if you don't find me at home I will definitely be at the gym.
Hey, I'm a 25 year old civil engineer, moving to Brisbane from Perth with a 2 year old kelpie x husky. I'm big into sports, mainly soccer and basketball but could really get around anything. Looking for a place with similar aged housemates who don't mind going out on weekends and socialising.
I am a Canadian travelling to Australia on a working holiday visa beginning in January. I currently work as an auto mechanic, but I have previously worked and studied culinary arts in a high end restaurant. My hope is to return to this career path during my stay in Brisbane, and wouldn’t mind cooking dinner every now and again to show off my skills. I don’t smoke, and I am a relatively clean and organized person. I tend to fit well in any kind of social group so I’m easy to get along with. Overall I just try to have fun and just enjoy my time, as well as my time with others as much as I can, and try to get the most out of life, and hopefully this matches with a potential flatmate looking to take me in on my long term holiday!
25 year old single female. Super social and would love to have the occasional drink/mingle and jingle together. Also respects others space and enjoy my quiet time too (avid napper). Having my own bathroom is definitely a huge preference 🙏🏼 Friendly, approachable, clean, chilled and keen to meet some new people and make some friends. I have the free account for Flatmates (lol) - so unable to message you first if I like the look of your place and you only have early bird msging available. If you think I would be a good fit, give me a holla.
I am a Pastry Chef looking to get out of my big share house. I am a quiet and neat housemate who is always making lot's of yummy goodies to share. I love to go out on adventures on the weekends and enjoy a glass of wine or two. So if you are looking for someone who cleans up after themselves and enjoys eating all the time, I am your girl!
I am a student who will be coming back from student exchange in France for my last semester at QUT and need a place to live for at least 6 months. I plan on getting a casual job once I am back in Australia as well as an internship. I am clean, quiet and respectful and I prefer to live with others who are the same. I love cooking, sports, the outdoors and animals.
Howzit I’m Fraser, I have an eternal love for all things sports and competition so I am always down for card games, monopoly, or computer games. I go to UQ and just finished my third year and am looking to move a bit closer to campus. I’ve had experience living in a share house with 11 other people before during my time living in South Africa 🇿🇦 I am always happy to do my share of the work/cleaning. Always down for a chat. (I put 6 months as a minimum range)
Hey! I’m Zoe and I’m currently looking for a room to move in to around the inner city suburbs. I’m fairly new to Brisbane and currently studying business while working part time. I love to socialise and go out for brunch or a few drinks whenever I’m not busy with work or study but I also love a night in as well. Ideally I’d like to move in with people I can become friends with and hang out with when where both free but also understand personal space I’d consider myself pretty laid back and can promise that I will do my fair share of the cleaning and other jobs around the house. I’d definitely like to live with people who clean up after themselves and like to live in a clean/tidy house. If you think I sound like your future room mate I’m always down to grab coffee or a drink to get to know each other. Look forward to hearing for you!!!
Hellooo, my name's Abbey, I'm easy going and will pretty much get along with anyone. I'll probs be a lil shy and awkward to begin with but once I'm comfortable that won't last long, well the awkward will, I'll forever be an awkward turtle. Anyways......... Ive been living out of home for a year and I'm keen on making some new friends in the process of house hunting. So, I would love a place where we can chill and have a chat but will also be very respectful of personal space. I'm not gonna lie and do the usual "I'm very clean and tidy" because in my own space I can be a lil bit messy butttt I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces and I will always clean up after myself. I work part time as an child and aged care worker (yes I know very different ends of the spectrum) and I'm studying fulltime at QUT doing a BA in Human Services. I'm an amateur photographer who loves to explore and star gaze. I love to cook, am obssesed with stripes & quirky socks and absolutely adore animals, so any type of animal is a massive plus. I'm a vegetarian so it'd be awesome to live with some fellow vegos but that's not a must, just a bonus. People who know how to keep plants alive would also be a massibe bonus and I would love y'all forever because I love plants but can't keep them alive to save myself. My current lease ends on the 10th of Jan but I can move as early as the 1st if need be. I'll need parking of some sort as I've got a lil red thang that just functions as a car (I'm happy with anywhere as long as I've got somewhere) Well that's a lil bit about myself, I'll stop rambling now but if ya think I'll suit your home flick me a message as I'd love to hear a bit about yourself & your house 😊
