But of course I do know how to respect privacy and personal space. Im very tidy and clean, very family oriented and multi cultured. Im always ready to go out for a roadtrip or have fun when im free, I am very goal oriented but very easy going. Would like to know more about this property and me please feel free to contact me. Hi! I'm in the process of re-locating to Brisbane after completing a work contract interstate. I am studying part time for honours and will be working part time. I am very friendly and social, a non-smoker, but appreciate my peace and quiet. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others, and hope that this is reciprocated. I'm 52, so no spring chicken, but plenty of spring in my step ;) I love to dance, walk/hike, and create all sorts of things. I also like to keep fit and healthy, so looking for some like-minded people. Please contact me if you have a room available. Cheers! Sue
I'm a friendly, down to earth girl who likes a good balance of social and quiet time. I'm looking to move out for the first time, so ideally, I would like to find an available room in a home that is already set up. I like many genres of music and often go to gigs, I love being outdoors and active, and I'm a real foodie. I'm a uni graduate who works every day of the week and sometimes weekends - my work is in disability support and hospitality. I don't generally work longer than six hours each day. I'm a clean person and will always do my share of household duties 👍🏼. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, my name is Smith Mehta. I am a QUT doctoral student from India. Looking for a calm place to stay near the Kelvin Grove Campus from July 12 onwards. I am a non-smoker, teetotaler who believes in Jainism and would prefer sharing room with Vegetarian/vegan/Jain. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks
New to adulthood, super artsy gal with a 9-5 job and love for plants and good tunes. Need a nice space (love a good Queenslander) with like-minded people, i am also very good with pets so if you've got any I am ready to be their cool aunt :^)
Studying at QUT KG starting late June. Feel free to contact me if you got a room. I arrive Brisbane on June 27th. "ROOM MUST BE FURNISHED" "Close to QUT KG" Indie music lover and video games, movies, all sorts of cool stuff. Clean and tidy, non-smoker. Not a party animal but I would love to hang out with you as long as you are chill. Hope to explore Brisbane as much as possible. Super easy going and interested in new stuffs, love pets as well! Hit me up if you are a fan of The xx, Frank Ocean, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Interpol, Cloud Nothings, Fleet Foxes, The National, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, The Avalanches etc.
A fantastic, modern, 2-story townhouse. 5 minute walk from Wilston train station, and a bus stop 1 minute away. Super easy to get in to the city by car (even in peak hour), or jump on the ICB or other tunnels to get to where you're going. Lovely quiet area just off Kedron Brooke rd, away from road traffic (although the odd train late at night can be heard). A short walk to cafes and restaurants along KB rd, or all of the stores available at the Homezone Windsor. Reading Newmarket complex (coles) is also just down the road.
Hello! My name is savannah. I'm 23 and have been renting for the last 5 years. I currently live in bulimba but looking to downsize when my lease is up on August 30 so I can save some money and head overseas eventually. (Looking for a 6 month lease). I work full time as a graphic designer and also work some bars on the weekend so I'm rarely home and like to just relax when I am. I paint and watch tv shows in my spare time and don't know many people in Brisbane so don't often have house guests. I do have a cat who is really friendly and just loves people. She's never attacked or scratched anyone and is always down for a snuggle. Most people fall in love with her so I'm hoping she wont be a problem! Happy to meet over coffee to see if we get along :)
Hello, Looking to Team up with a respectful, environmentally conscious and mindful person, preferably a female. Within 5 -10 minutes walking distance to public transport. Some of the things I enjoy: Cooking ( professionally as well as home) Gardening, Meditation, Cycling, Scrabble, Hiking, Markets and good company! Moving date flexible Cheerio Margaretha
I'm relatively new to Brisbane. I'm 32, originally from the Philippines and moved to Brisbane for work. I work full time from M-F 8-5 in Albion (IT). I'm easy to get along with, respectful and independent. Happy to cook, share and clean up. I'm up for a chat, happy to socialize but also need alone time to recharge. Looking preferably near train station and would prefer dogs over cats.
I moved to Brisbane a couple of years ago from Toowoomba, I'm a full time nurse, clean and tidy, non-smoker. I am quite social but enjoy my own space. My lease will be coming up at the end of August and am looking for a housemate to start a share house with. I am quite an active person so ideally looking for someone who might want to come for walks or even just coffee.
Hi Everyone! Our home is the perfect home for someone who works in the city or inner city suburbs. We are very close to the train station, Wilston restaurants and the grocery store is about 5 minutes away. The house is a townhouse with open plan living, dining and kitchen area downstairs along with a beautiful courtyard out the back. Upstairs is our bedrooms, bathrooms and a balcony. Your room has a large closet with a mirror, window, ceiling fan and the house has ducted air-conditioning throughout. You will be sharing a bathroom with Amy who is clean and tidy. We are looking for somebody with full time work. Preferably no students. Available to move in from the 15/07/2017.
We are a young couple, we both work during the week so we try to relax at home on the weekend. I work in a hospital, she works in films & television. We are tidy and clean, (borderline OCD at times). We are pretty quiet, and generally enjoy watching tv series when at home. We don't mind chatting with others if a social opportunity arises. :)
# WE ARE NOT AFTER SHAREHOUSES or SHAREFLATS # PLEASE DO NOT OFFER US ROOMS IN SHARED FLATS OR HOUSES # READ THE TEXT, DON`T COPY AND PASTE. # THANKS. Hey, my girlfriend Monica and I are looking for a nice place with some privacy after living in a sharehouse for 6 months (Granny flats, Studios or 1 bedrooms - NO house or flat shares) A little bit about us: Monica works in hospitality, is into arts and horror movies and likes cats (and dogs...probably even more than cats). - We do not have pets. I work as a stagehand sometimes 10 sometimes 70 hours a week, have a passion for music and like to ride my bicycle through town. We both share a passion for camping, rock climbing and cooking. We are both very tidy and respectful of others property and really enjoy our quiet time when at home. We would love something reasonably affordable and cozy in close(-ish) proximity to the city. We can leave our current place with two weeks notice, so we´re semi flexible with move-in dates. Looking forward to hear from you! P.S.: To keep things fun for everyone, please start your message to us with "blue m&ms " ;-)
Hey, I'm a uni student currently on my second year studying criminology and criminal justice and I work at a bottle shop part time. I'm really easy going and neat and I'm always happy to help out around the house whenever needed. I'm pretty social and I'm always keen for a drink or a chat. I'm currently in a long term relationship, I'm a big fan of music and I love outdoor ed activities like hiking and camping. Looking forward to finding a cool group of people to share a place with.
ROOM FOR RENT IN WILSTON. A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE: a large, secure brick home, sharing with two quiet, easy-going, independent guys. It's a tidy, well organised and drama free house-hold. A GOOD LOCATION: elevated hill-top position, close to local cafes and shops (Wilston Village) and public transport (Buses and Windsor train station, Ferny Grove line). A LARGE ROOM: with good natural lighting. It opens directly onto the verandah via sliding doors, has a wardrobe and a ceiling fan. The room comes unfurnished or with a comfortable bed and a desk (if required). PLENTY OF SPACE: This house has a huge verandah with awesome city views, seperate lounge and dining rooms, two bathrooms and a seperate toilet. The kitchen has good features, including lots of bench space, a pantry, dishwasher, an extra fridge etc... There's plenty of parking available. SEEKING A FRIENDLY AND EASY-GOING PERSON: must be tidy around the house and considerate of others. Must also be honest, have a job (or student) and pay rent and shared expenses on time. Please contact Clayton, to arrange an inspection. Thank you for your time.
I am one of the most easiest people to get along with, very respectful and outgoing. Love animals however have none of my own. I am very fair, patient, responsible and honest. Always good to have a laugh with however love my personal space also. I am a regular smoker (outside of course). I work full time as a personal trainer and a receptionist. My whole life is revolved around gym, training and work and i love it like that. There is never any judgement with me.. I am very accepting and open to everything. I am looking for both a granny flat that allows me to have my own space and privacy, OR a housemate/housemates that are 18+ and have no children. Thank you Jess :)
Hiya all! My partner and I were looking for either a single person or a couple whom we can hope to go for housing applications with. We're looking in Inner Brisbane City Suburbs such as, but not limited too, Indooroopilly, Windsor, Herston, Toowong, Auchenflower, Wilston, and more in a similar vicinity that are within a 5 - 10 minute drive to the CBD. We are looking at houses, apartments, townhouses and keeping our minds open to other kinds of properties. The places we are looking at will be a minimum 2 bed 2 bath (so you will have your own private room and bathroom) and 1 car; whether LUG or a space under the building or carport, but we are avoiding only having access to street parking. THE PROCESS: We would like to meet with you and see if our personalities would mesh well together and discuss what we value in a household to make it run smoothly. We would then be showing you several places we have found in the listed and surrounding areas and seeking if you would be keen to apply to any (with us), if not most for a higher chance of being accepted. We would also be keen to see what you have found and what we could find together to see if perhaps there is something else that suits us more. EXPENSES: BOND - The bond will be split evenly (e.g. a $400/wk place will have 4 weeks bond + 2 weeks rent to equal $2400. If there are three of us, us, two plus you it will be $800p/p, if there are four of us it will be $600p/p. RENT - The rent is indicative of the space used, for example if it is 2 ensuite rooms and the total of the rent is $400 it will be $200/wk/room, NOT per person. So if you come with either a friend or a partner it would be $100/wk/p. The rent is NOT split based off of how many people there are in the household. BILLS - Bills will also be split evenly, e.g. a $300 energy bill split between three people, us two plus you, it would be $100/ea. If there were four people it would be $75/ea. OTHER HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES - Will also be split evenly, though you will be required to keep your own area (your bedroom and bathroom) clean (clean doesn't indicate tidy) and damage free and will be keeping your own cleaning products for those areas in your own space. However, we do require that communal areas, living area, garage, kitchen, laundry, are all kept neat, tidy and clean at all points (that being said, we don't mind if you have a few big nights here and there and take a few extra days to clean it up) NOTE: $400p/wk for rent is a simple example and rent could be more or less depending on what we find) US Him (21) - He works at a bar in Chermside several nights a week usually with the weekends included, he's a bit of a grease monkey and enjoys working on cars so if you or perhaps a friend or partner has a similar interest you would get along swimmingly. Also enjoys fishing, cooking, sleeping and being either incredibly lazy or ridiculously adventurous on his days off, so you will find a bit of both, he's also an incredibly friendly person who can vibe with most people so he wouldn't mind in the slightest if you joined in (but asking first is always polite and something we encourage). Her (19) - I work at a club in the Valley, again usually with the weekends included. As it is a club I often work until the wee hours of the morning wherein the sun threatens the encompassing night, and as such I often sleep until past midday, sometimes late afternoon on the nights after I work so I, along with my partner, would need roommates whom respect this fact. I'm both an introverted and extroverted personality and can be happy spending my time with anyone, but definitely highly value my personal time. I do the majority of the cleaning between the two of us though my partner helps, and he does the majority of the cooking. I also study online. YOU (or perhaps you and your partner/friend) You are someone who has the ability of transparency, someone who when they are faced with an issue does not put off discussing it until they angrily explode at their roommates but who instead is happy to discuss and come to a mutual compromise to ensure a smooth-running, stress-free, happy household. If ever there is any issue we would like you BOTH (if that is the case) to discuss it with the both of us (unless all of our schedules do not allow) to ensure that everyone is on the same page. You are someone who works and has a consistent paycheck, we don't care what it is that you do just that it is regular enough to ensure there is never any issue with rent or bills. We would also prefer a young adult (someone under 30) like ourselves but of course, when it comes down to it, a similar age does not mean a like-minded and good roommate and thus we are happy with anyone (ensuring we all get along). WHAT WE ARE BRINGING The things we own and would be bringing to the household are listed below. Year old washing machine, with good energy and water consumption to ensure savings. 500L Fridge and Freezer combination to ensure all of our favorite foods can be stored safely and happily. (Fridge/Freezer shelves, both the door and main storage will be divided evenly and labelled to ensure no ones food is ever taken by anyone other than those it is for) 4 - 6 Seater Antique circle/oval white-washed table that transforms with the assistance of a leave. Bookcase. Solid Timber white-washed coffee table. Solid Timber TV Cabinet (unfortunately we don't have a TV to go with it just yet) Desk Queen Bed Bedside tables Antique Wooden Chest/Box. 1 Sofa Bed. Lots of colorful tapestries, and one lovely rug. If you have any other questions or perhaps would like to discuss more in-depth on the phone, please feel free to msg me either for more details or my number. (Unfortunately I cannot text on the phone until tomorrow afternoon when the Telstra support team is working to fix my issue, but I can make phone calls.
I'm looking for a non-furnished home to move in mid August. I don't need a car space as I Uber every where :-) I am friendly, clean, respectful of my flatmates and their belongings. I like my privacy, I work hard and I pay my bills on time. I have no kids, no pets and no partner. Life is great! :-)
