Hello, I’m Madii and I’m looking for one or two new flatmates. My friend Ash and myself are looking for a 3-4 bedroom place and would like to team up with one or two others to start a new sharehouse. I’m a friendly, neat and respectful person who is looking for a fairly quiet place to live with people I get along with. I’m fairly introverted/ can keep to myself/ bit of a homebody but like to have a chat or watch tv/ movies with housemates. I consider myself pretty nerdy and like going to the cinema, seeing live music, stand up comedy, video games, plants, cooking/baking, crafting and relaxing with a cup of tea. I work casually and am on centrelink but I am always on time with rent and bills, and earn enough to support myself comfortably. I am also actively seeking more work and/or full time employment. I like to keep my space and my home very clean and am looking for people similar. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do, but I’m not looking for a party house or people who have guests/ partners over all the time. Not interested in living with couples, smokers or drug users. I would prefer something in or very close to Chermside, for work and convenience, but can look elsewhere if need be. I have my own car and would require a parking space, preferably off-street. I get along well with pretty much anyone and am respectful of different cultures, religions, lifestyles and only ask the same, but LGBTQI+ friendly is a requirement for me. I have multiple references as being a good housemate and hope you will consider me! I will link to my friend’s profile as soon as they send me the link. I also can bring a lot to a new place! I have a good amount of furniture + appliances for common spaces if need be, and I have a spare king single bed for sale for cheap if you need one.
Hello, my name is Dan. I'm a 31 old German guy. (although I feel a bit younger) I'm looking for a new place to stay since my current place in Strathpine is too big for me and I want to live closer to Brisbane. A few things about me: In my private time I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, hiking or going to the beach, having a meal at a nice restaurant, going out or just staying at home and watching a movie - just like most other people do. :) I work 3-5 days a week in Brendale, so the northern suburbs would be preferrable. I'm looking for a nice little place from 15/01/19 - either for myself or with positive people (early 20s to mid 30s) around me - doesn't matter where you are from. A must for me is my own room, a place to park my car, (fast) internet connection and that people don't smoke within the unit/house. If you are not quite the opposite of me and/or have a place to live or suggestions, feel free to send me a message. Cheers!
Hey, I'm Darcy. I work in disability support, usually day shifts but occasionally overnight. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably close to the valley, in my free time I'm usually at Netherworld playing pinball, going to gigs or reading. I'm tidy, respectful, and generally pretty easygoing and easy to live with.
Hey I'm Aaron, a 25 year old creative designer that's working full time in Brisbane. Currently, I live in the Newmarket area and preferably looking for a place not too far from there. My current living situation (which is only ending because the owners are selling the house) is with three other females - we've lived together for the past 2 years but unfortunately it comes to an end! I'm a pretty relaxed, no stress, clean and tidy kinda guy who understands the need for personal space but also doesn't mind a good chat or quality hang time with friends too. Being a graphic designer I spend most of my weekdays at work making things to look pretty on a computer... but after hours I play both social and competitive Netball. On weekends you'll probably catch me playing netball (again ha), mountain biking, jet-skiing, hanging with friends or even back on the computer catching up on all my favourite TV shows. I've only been in the Brisbane scene for the past two years so it'd be nice living with housemates that occasional embark on odd excursion out of the house here and there. Otherwise the general cleanliness & respect you'd want from anyone else without being a total OCD control freak would be great! Send me a message if you're interested.
Dear Fms user, I am looking for a new room in Brissy. I have been at my current place for six months and feel it is time for a change. I would like to live somewhere modern. I prefer to share with one other and think this dynamic works well. I would consider 2 -3 flatmates. I would live with a female I am clean courteous and respectful; I am clean but not ocd. I respect others and their use of the shared space. Normal share hose values apply. I am working full time in the building trades. I have a lot of rich experiences. I am always reliable with rent and bills.
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 37 year old single gay guy. I just moved back after travelling for a few months. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. I'm a really happy and chatty guy - i am really not into the" i want to talk about all things vegan in your face thing " , or the " i have a political opinion about every topic and i want to annoy you with it for 2 hours and then have a go at you because of yours " Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 37, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. So if your LAID BACK and don't have a panic attack and meltdown about everything in life, we will get along. :)
Hi, I'm Rachel. I work permanent part time (full time hours most weeks) I work for Virgin Australia, ground crew. Currently residing and working in Brisbane Airport. I'm am very neat and tidy. Also I don't go out much ie clubbing but I do hangout with friends. I meal prep most weeks if I don’t give in and buy Youfoodz or Uber so I'll only be the annoying kitchen hog once or twice a week :) I am very active and love being outside. However I also love a good nap and tv binge. Give me a cheese platter any day of the week 😋 I love animals! I do work on a 4/2 roster. Meaning 4 days on then 2 off rotating. So I won’t be home most weekends. I need a place to stay as soon as possible :) before Christmas 2018 Please be aware, at this time I am hoping to eventually move to Melbourne before June. So I am not looking to sign a lease! LGBT friendly 🏳️🌈 Chill and laid back

Hi, my name is Travis, I'm 27, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and super dorky, I'm respectful of personal space but also don't mind hanging out, specially if it involves Netflix and a big box of Cadbury Favourites. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion, so I'd like a housemate who is similar in that sense and who has a friendly and easy going personality that's clean and tidy. :) I'm currently working 20 hours a week as a night shift Environmental Services Assistant at the HSNPH in Chermside and I am looking at starting study in IT next year whilst working. Im after a place that has the following, - Pet free - Smoke free - Drug free - Child free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioning - Non party house - 1 other person (2 max) - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Off Street parking (Preferable) - Ensuite (Preferable) (Will pay more) - Storage (Preferable) - New or Newish house/townhouse or apartment (preferably) I do have a few bits and bobs that need to be stored, some I can just chuck in the cupboard and under my bed but I do have a sensor dryer and also a new mountain bike which I'd like to keep out of the weather. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable please done hesitate to message me.

Hey hey! My names Ellen. I currently work full-time five days a week and do uni on my days off so my weeks are fairly busy. I like to keep my living spaces clean and organised. On weekends I love to see a live band when I can but usually i keep it to a few casual drinks with friends. I'm hoping to keep to the north side of Brisbane, close enough to my work. Seeking laid back, easy going company with a few people in a share house or one other in an apartment with own bathroom. I’m laid back, neat and tidy without being a freak about it. I love to be social but also be respectful of space. I work full time in the city. I do have a friendly 10 month old female German shepherd but she doesn’t bark, has been trained by a professional trainer and is fully crate trained. Please feel free to message me if you would like to know anything else.

Hi my name is Alina, i'm an 18 year old student who is looking to move out sometime between 2019-2020. I'm a fun loving, chilled kinda gal, I love music and going to gigs (so roommates who enjoy good vibes and live music would be amazing) and always down for a drink or two. I like to keep things neat tidy, organised and enjoy my own time as well. I am currently working as a waitress in South Bank meaning I work most nights. I have enrolled for university 2019 and currently hold a diploma in Event Management. That's pretty much it, feel free to contact me and more then happy to tell you more about myself.
I have lived in Australia for 3.5 years now (coming from the UK), mostly living on the Sunny Coast. I have done shared accommodation before which worked out well. Moving to Brisbane for Uni, I'm easy to live with and clean. I would prefer to live with people that would actually prefer to go out occasionally and not just stick to themselves in their room all the time.
We have an awesome-sized room with ceiling fan available in our well-established sharehouse. The house is fully furnished and the bedroom currently comes with a king sized bed, shelving and bedside tables. The house is a high-set Queenslander in a quiet street with plenty of on-street parking. There's a big backyard perfect for summer get togethers and a fire pit down the back. The bathroom is shared, and has a bathtub. The kitchen is a good size with gas stove and oven. Bills (internet, gas and electricity) are divided evenly and paid monthly. We're located just up the hill from the Windsor train station and buses and right near the RBWH and Northey Street if sports and organic produce are your thing. We're right near Lutwyche Shopping Centre and Stafford shopping centre, which has a cinema. There are also plenty of coffee shops (The Low Road is awesome) and restaurants near by. Our house is also minutes from the ICB and the Clem 7 if you need to zip out of the city in a hurry. We're about 15 minutes from the airport for regular travellers. Mary has two older dogs, so we're looking for an animal lover, but unfortunately we can not accommodate any additional pets.
Hellooo, my name's Abbey, I'm easy going and will pretty much get along with anyone. I'll probs be a lil shy and awkward to begin with but once I'm comfortable that won't last long, well the awkward will, I'll forever be an awkward turtle. Anyways......... Ive been living out of home for a year and I'm keen on making some new friends in the process of house hunting. So, I would love a place where we can chill and have a chat but will also be very respectful of personal space. I'm not gonna lie and do the usual "I'm very clean and tidy" because in my own space I can be a lil bit messy butttt I'm very tidy when it comes to shared spaces and I will always clean up after myself. I work part time as an child and aged care worker (yes I know very different ends of the spectrum) and I'm studying fulltime at QUT doing a BA in Human Services. I'm an amateur photographer who loves to explore and star gaze. I love to cook, am obssesed with stripes & quirky socks and absolutely adore animals, so any type of animal is a massive plus. I'm a vegetarian so it'd be awesome to live with some fellow vegos but that's not a must, just a bonus. People who know how to keep plants alive would also be a massibe bonus and I would love y'all forever because I love plants but can't keep them alive to save myself. My current lease ends on the 10th of Jan but I can move as early as the 1st if need be. I'll need parking of some sort as I've got a lil red thang that just functions as a car (I'm happy with anywhere as long as I've got somewhere) Well that's a lil bit about myself, I'll stop rambling now but if ya think I'll suit your home flick me a message as I'd love to hear a bit about yourself & your house 😊
I would normally give a little more effort towards these 'meet and greet' things but I have recently bought a new car and my current apartment does not have off street parking, so with the impending holidays, I'm hoping to move asap. If you have any questions or want to have a chat, please hmu :)
Hi my name's Helen and I'm looking for a peaceful household to call home. I'm friendly, chill, quiet, considerate and tidy. Love good music, nature, painting, learning new songs on the keys, going for long walks, movies, markets and learning about new things to cook. I'm doing an online business course whilst I look for work in admin/retail/hospo. I do have a reliable income in the meantime and I'm a responsible person. Paying my rent/bills is always my priority :) I'm a non-smoker, don't have any pets to bring along (but stoked if you guys already have one) and I have all of my own bedroom furniture and car. Not the clubbing type, but I love a good conversation over wine or beers every now and then fo'sho! If I sound suitable for your household, please don't hesitate to send me a msg! ($120-$150 P/W)
I work full-time at a financial planning firm in Newstead and live alone in the same area at the moment also. I’m very clean and respectful and love time to myself, but also love going out on the weekends, eating out, going to the beach etc. I'm looking for an apartment or townhouse in the Newstead / Bris City area and would prefer to start up a new place than move somewhere already set up.
Hi everyone, I'm Marco, 31, and I will soon move to Brisbane to start my student visa. I'm a tidy and respectful person, well, probably nobody has ever said otherwise ;-). I'd describe myself as a friendly and easygoing guy, who will probably be very busy with the study, work and gym. I'd rather have my single room but I'm open to share the room with the right person. I don't mind living with smokers and I love cats. I need a parking space for my vehicle, it doesn't matter if it's on/off street or whatever kind of park it is. That's all for now. Thanks everyone Marco
