My name is Veronica and I am moving to Brisbane from Amsterdam at the end of September to start my PhD at UQ. My PhD will focus on stroke rehabilitation and so I will be working at the Royal Brisbane hospital. I am 29 years old and I´ve lived abroad for over 10 years now, in Spain, Ireland, Russia and the Netherlands. I have always shared apartments, with both national and international students and workers :) so I am very familiar with the concept. I am very flexible and easy-going, and respectful of other cultures. I´m quite passionate about my work and will spend a lot of time outside the house or doing some work from home. But I do enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, spend Sundays in cafes, go to the beach and do sports a few times a week.
I work full time in the city as a designer and I’m pretty chill and easy going. Looking for a sharehouse and housemates that are clean and respect personal privacy, but also keen to hang out for a chat or meal sometimes. :) I would prefer to have my own bathroom/en-suite, and I’m flexible with moving dates, looking to move around end October/early November.
Hi! I work Monday - Friday during the day 8-5 in Fortitude Valley in the Automotive Industry and enjoy spending my weekends going away for the weekends exploring and practicing photography. I'm a tidy housemate and would love my own bathroom but am flexible for the right place. Looking to move ASAP into an unfurnished room. (I don't have kids it is my friends)
Hi, my name is Sam. I’m a super social, relaxed, clean person. Happy to live in a social household or a quiet one. Love animals, weekend markets and spending time with my friends and family. I am a counsellor and will be starting my new full time role in the next few weeks so looking to start finding a new home to live in :)
Hi! My name is Michelle, I'm a pretty laid back but sociable person who is always up for banter and a laugh. I have a pretty well established routine during the week. I work full-time at the Queensland Children's Hospital (MonFri 9-5) and am frequently at the gym after work. I do like to cook and meal prep so I tend to spend a lot of time in the kitchen (happy to feed roommates, if I'm given chocolate or other forms of bribery). Otherwise I venture out every other weekend - usually to eat, and hang out with friends. I'm looking for 1 or 2 flatmates who are easy to get along with, are ideally employed on a full-time basis and who are up for chats after work and on the weekends. Would also prefer people who are reliable and are able to take on shared responsibilities involved with sharing a space. I am keen on moving into a new, mostly unfurnished household. At the moment I'm attending house inspections around the Kedron, Wooloowin, Gordon Park, Windsor area. I'm interested in signing a lease for a 2bedroom + 2bathroom apartment or potentially a 3bedroom townhouse, for 12+ months. If you think you'd be interested in teaming up - please shoot me a message. I also come with a chilled out cat, her name is Kitty (don't judge) - she's pretty low maintenance and can be good company on the couch, but otherwise is happy to entertain herself.
I'm a civil engineer by profession, working as an asset auditor. Born and raised in South Africa, I'm moving back to Brisbane after a few months away. I'm clean, organised, quiet, considerate and easy going. I love meditating and being in nature. I will be travelling alot for work and will only be home mostly on the weekends.
Moving to Brisbane from England to study a PhD at QUT. Tidy, sociable and easy to get along with. I like to live a healthy active lifestyle exercising every day but also enjoy socialising and some nights out.
