Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am 33 years old. I am looking for a new place to call home, as currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years, have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly an indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together. I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for a low key walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed respectful, caring, open, very clean, honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
I recently started my full-time job as a radiographer at a hospital in Chermside (I graduated from QUT at the end of 2017). I'm 21 and from Toowoomba originally (but have rented in Brisbane for the last 4 years). I'm looking for a 2-3 bedroom place with friendly housemates, that’s easy to maintain and keep tidy (probably preferably a townhouse or apartment). I will be doing a lot of shift work (late nights, weekends and on call) throughout the year and so would like a place with 1-2 girls/boys who are also are studying/working, would be keen to occasionally chill/ have a drink but also enjoy time alone to unwind and are cool with me being out of the house a lot. I'd be keen to move into an existing sharehouse or find somewhere new with you (I have a fridge, couches, dryer, etc I could bring to the place). Feel free to shoot me a message if you're interested (my current lease ends 30 Jan, hoping to find somewhere before then). Thanks!
I'm reserved and quiet, a bit of a night owl but I'll never disturb you. I'm currently a full time film student at QUT and spend a lot of my free-time editing videos, watching Netflix and drawing. I'm fairly friendly and will contribute to housework and chores evenly, however my budget is fairly strict and simply cannot afford something over $150 pw. Overall, I'm a pretty good gal. :)
Im polite friendly quiet and like to keep the place clean. I enjoy cooking and coffee and having the occasional drink after work. I’m happy to have a chat at the end of the day but enjoy self time as well. I occasionally travel with work so you will have the place to your self from time to time.

I'm interested in music, art and film. Feel free to message if you have something available :)

Hey! I'm 23 and a freelance Hairdresser from Canberra. Iv'e been living in Brisbane for 3 months but am hoping move to the sunshine coast in the next few weeks. I work 3-4 12 hour days and if I'm not working I'm probably out at the beach, running or at an oval with my super cute 1 year old Staffy. :D I'm clean, not loud, not quiet, i understand personal space yet also keen to meet people and hang out as I'm new to Brissy!
I'm looking for the perfect place for me and my beautiful dog, Gus (ask for pics, I promise you'll love him). I'm moving out of my current house in March/late Feb as my housemates are both moving for work. Sadly because of Gus I can't live in an apartment, as he needs a bit of space to run about and I'd feel terrible putting him in a tiny courtyard, so here I am, looking for a place with a yard! I'm keen to find a place to share with one other person. I've got some furniture and white goods, and I'm willing to purchase whatever is missing if I team up with someone. A little about me? I've always lived in Brissie (Except for a couple of years gallavanting overseas after uni), I work full-time as the CFO in a small company, and I spend my weekends out and about, often hitting up beaches and forest walks with friends and my dog. I don't party much, but enjoy a couple of wines on a Friday or Saturday night with friends (or potentially new housemate). Gus is a 1year old border collie X stumpy-tailed cattle dog. He's a quiet dog and only ever barks if there's a possum, cat or someone he doesn't know in the yard (he's been known to chase intruders!!) He's well-behaved and although he's an active breed, I exercise him daily and he's surprisingly more calm than most working dogs I've met. Although he's previously been used to being inside when I'm at home, he and I would be happy enough for him to be an outdoor-only dog if required.
Hi future housemates! I am moving to Brisbane in February. I'm a physiotherapy student studying my 4th and final year! I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni clinical placements, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and have done the whole house share thing so the do's and don'ts. Looking somewhere to live somewhere $200-250 close to the CBD/North of the River with a nice homely feel. I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed. I will be moving to a new city so and don't know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus! Furniture wise I have a fridge, some bedroom furniture, TV and a heap of kitchen stuff. The ideal place would be a nice apartment/house, with my own room big enough to fit a Queen bed and own bathroom, AC, parking, close to public transport, a balcony perfect for drinking wine on and a supermarket nearby.
Are you seeking an action packed adventure with two awesome people? Or maybe just looking for a spacious room in Windsor that Time Magazine once declared “a spacious room in Windsor” (Insert fictitious reference here). Then this is the house you have been looking for! LOCATION Talk about location! (ok I will). Located only 3ks from the Valley and 4ish kms to the city, you could be drunk walking home in no time. Think of the convenience. Just (literally) down the road from the RBH. Perfect for those medically inclined people (and the accident-proned). Best of all there is 3 different lighting shops within 200meters. Think of the home decorating. THE ROOM (the actual room, not the movie) It is so big that you could swing a cat in it (I am not sure why or how, but I won’t ask questions if you don’t). You will have enough space to fit your clothes, while still leaving enough room for the door to Narnia (BYO door to Narnia). The room comfortable fits a queen bed with room for a desk or drawers. We have a queen bed available if you need. THE HOUSE In one word – “sheltering” In many words – our house features a nice kitchen with all the modern (READ modern for 1980) appliances, a bar, and a built in fish tank full of voraciously trained attack goldfish (it’s better than an alarm system). Includes: Electricity/water and all that boring stuff. Also Unlimited Wifi & Hammock! WOOO! US Erin – 22- Normally found napping, the wild Erin sleeps for 80% of the day and fills the rest up with Uni, work, eating and Passion fruit UDLs. (re-read this in David Attenborough voice... scary). Lisa & Harry- when not sciencing at the hospital, Lisa is using her incredible skills to turn simple things like flower and sugar into cake and other things. At the end of the day, we all sit around the coffee table or lounge room and chat. We do share cooking, that way we only really only have to cook couple of times a week. Yay…laziness. YOU Enough about us, lets talk about you. You should reply to this ad if you are: - employed (or able to pay rent) - fun and easy going - can cook a mean /delicious bowl of gluten free spaghetti - Up for a beer/passionfruit udl at the end of the day and keen for a bit of a chat - Secretly Batman (seriously…) RENT: $190 for a single (ask about a couple)
Hi! Im currently working in the heart of Brisbane CBD as a shift worker. I am looking to move to a location close by to the city by very early March when my current lease is up. I have lived with very undesirable housemates so I understand how it feels to have others around the house let you down. What makes me great to live with? - Always clean up after myself - Help out with house chores - Driven towards my goals - Always up for a chat
this property is amazing! solar panel so running aircon and washing machine is super cheap. Unlimited internet included in the rent! beautiful deck for bbqs and drinks. washer, dryer aircon, loads of offstreet parking. 5 minute walk to the train! smart tv, apple tv included, netflix and stan included.
I'm a 24-year-old doctor, so I'm fairly busy most of the time but love to catch up with friends over a beer/wine on the weekend. I'm a pretty easygoing housemate but very clean and tidy. Love music and gigs, and running for fitness. I'm from Brisbane originally - just moving back for work. Ideally I'd be interested in sharing a new or modern apartment close to the city with 1-2 flatmates, or alternatively a nicely renovated Queenslander with young professionals and/or students in the later years of uni.
Hi! I'm Holly and I am currently looking for accommodation closer to work. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science 6 months ago and I have been employed as a Pathologist Assistant at RBWH ever since. I currently commute 1.5 hours to get to work every day and I'd very much like to cut down on that. I'm quiet and value personal space, enjoying playing computer games and at the same time am open to enjoying the occasional wine, beer or adventure. The move date is flexible as I am looking for a welcoming home :)
Hi! I am a social guy who is easy going and loves to have a chat/ laugh. I am currently studying Primary Education full time at QUT Kelvin Grove and am in my final year of study. I also work at an outside schools hours care. I like to keep organised, clean and tidy. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors either playing a bit of social sport or exploring new places. While socialising is an important part of my life I do like having my own space and respecting others.
I'm a full time Creative Director for my own animation studio needing a place in/near the city for work. A room with a bed and a decent sized desk for my computer and my drawing is all I need. Otherwise you want home made pizza and party games on the Switch I've got you covered.
