Hi, my name is Sato and I’m from Japan. I’ve already obtained a Working Holiday visa for Australia, and I’m planning to stay for one year. It's been a month since I got to Aus. I’m currently staying in Tahmoor through Workaway. The reason I decided to go to Australia is because I want to work as an accountant there. I passed the U.S. CPA exam this February, but getting a visa for the U.S. is quite difficult for me. While exploring other options, I found the “Mutual Recognition Agreement,” which allows me to transfer my U.S. CPA credits to Australia. That’s when I realized I might be able to work as an accountant in Australia someday — and that became my motivation for choosing Australia. After one or two year, I’m considering going to graduate school in Australia to study accounting, or possibly going to another country for new experiences. I haven’t decided yet.
