Hi, I will be leasing a house or townhouse very soon and looking for someone to move in. I will have everything to start the place just need a sub leaser! I am a full time worker at a dentist who is a huge fan of my own space and quiet time, however on weekends I am open to socializing and fun! I do like a clean/neat house. I also have a small dog; she is super lovable. Let me know if you would be interested and I can send you some potentials homes. Look forward to meeting you!
Clean, sociable, quiet but friendly housemates :) Looking for a double room for the next three months, needs to be furnished as we are not here long enough to buy everything!
Moved from Central Queensland to Brisbane in October and currently working full time as a Carpenter. I like to go to gym in the afternoons and enjoy guitar, music, footy and tennis. Up for a drink on weekends but happy to do my own thing also. Will be clean, respectful of others and pay on time.
Beautiful brand new apartment less thank 6 kilometers to the city. Close to public transport, shops and the airport. Apartment is fully furnished - with the exception of the room. Built in mirrored wardrobe - will comfortably fit queen bed
Hi future housemate(s)! We are currently inspecting houses in the Inner North of Brisbane. Our ideal house should be quiet but close to public transport, preferably have a gas stove and air-con. A garden and/or nice deck would be great as well. And we love timber floors and VJ boards. Depending on what comes up, we'd either like to find another couple or just a single person to live with. A little about us: Paul runs a home maintenance business and loves spending time out in the bush or creating things in his workshop. Sarah is a self-employed German tutor and enjoys meeting friends, museums and music. Both of us like watching movies, drinking coffee or wine, hiking, exploring and getting out of the city. We're not the kind of couple that you will always find together doing the same thing but we're quite independent. We also have a geriatric cat named Tom (seriously, he is 21!) who may or may not still be around when we're moving house. But not looking at getting another one after him. It would be great to find someone who is looking for a home and not just a house, appreciates the good things in life, is somewhat clean and knows how to run a house and simply enjoys living with other people. Our move-date is flexible and we're really just looking for the right place. Please get in contact if you think we could be a fit! Cheers, Sarah and Paul
Both myself & my partner work away so rarely home. Both have full time jobs not orginally from Brisbane so have only a few people we know in the area. No early bird access unfortunately. We are both exertemly clean & would like to have our own bathroom. Off street parking is a must also would like room to store belongings would even pay for an extra room to utilise as storage. We are looking for at least a 6 month stay. We both enjoy socialising but also really enjoy our down time. We do not mind animals just not in the house. I work near the city so within 25km of the city would be ideal in any direction as long as it close to a train statiin. We both enjoy to be active & eat well. Have been together for over 13years, we just sold our house & are looking to save some cash before we invest again. We would love a 2brm, 2bath with parking close the city with the amenities. Need to be out by the 14th Feb so please feel free to contact.
Hi my name is Honey! I am currently working full-time as a hairdresser in a busy salon in Nundah. I work 4 days a week but my shifts are usually consists of 12 hour days so I wouldn't be home much over the week. Although I do enjoy quite weekends as I am not much of a party person. I am very respectful of other people's space but I also don't mind being social with my housemates. I am clean and tidy up after myself. If I sound like the type of person who would fit into your house please send a message! thank you x
Hi! I got back from the obligatory gap year in the UK in late 2016 and have been busy re-adjusting to life back in Brisvegas. Currently living in the northern suburbs, but I'm keen to move closer to friends/work/civilisation. I'm currently working full time in the city as an Executive Assistant. Likes include: - Cooking - Eating - Binge-watching the latest tv shows - Pyjamas - Reading with a cup of tea in hand Dislikes: - People who don't replace the toilet paper. I do actually have a social life - I promise! I play social netball, hang out with friends most weekends and generally like to balance out my lazyness with fresh air. I like my home to be a comfy retreat (clean and calm) and looking to live with others who feel the same. It would also be great to have housemates who are also friends, though I'm not needy and happy to have time to myself. I have almost no furniture, but looking for an unfurnished room (I will buy stuff). Ideally looking for housemates who are non-smokers and no cats (dogs are fine). I don't drive so I don't need a car park, but I am looking for somewhere well connected to public transport. Want to know something else? Ask.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although I work crazy hours as well as study through the week, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I'd like to think I'm well-travelled having lived in the United States for close to 10 months just recently. Look forward to hearing from you soon! Cheers, Rhodezy
I'm a 22 year old uni student, going into my final year of journalism and public relations. I'm a super friendly person and am always up for a chat but am super respectful of the other people I live with and also need my own privacy. I'm working casually at typo and also volunteer reading the news at 4ZZZ, hoping to get my own show this year! Because of this I'm looking to live anywhere between Kelvin Grove and Chermside(suburbs listed but anywhere else near the northern busway is fine) I'm a pretty social person but am not into going out all the time or having parties, though I do occasionally like to have friends over for pres or just a couple of drinks. Because I'm in my final year of uni I'm looking for somewhere to live for at least this year, and definitely need to live with people who will respect that I need my space and time for study as well. I'm a very clean person, always clean up after myself and often find myself doing other people's dishes just cause they're there. Usually will clean the entire house when I'm doing my own room. I'm experienced in sharehousing from small to large numbers, prefer to live with larger numbers but don't mind smaller places. I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to live with animals. I'm also interested in possibly doing a team up, potentially with my current housemate Julie, we have a whole house worth of furniture we can bring along!
Hey i am Kyla, i am looking for a room to rent by the 26/01/2017 but happy to move asap! i am currently working as a barista. i am a laid back 20 year old looking for equally chilled , clean and respectful people to live with. i am usually working between Monday-Saturday. i enjoy peoples company and socialising. please email me
The house is beautiful and low-maintenance. We have a nice backyard so pets may be considered. 15 mins from the valley/city. 10 mins from the airport. Close to public transport. There is a car park available and also off-street parking. The available room is located at the back of the house and overlooks the backyard. It has a built-in wardrobe and comes with a bed and mattress if needed.
Hi Everyone :) My current flatmates are packing up and heading o/s, hence I must start the Flatmate search again. I'm 32, easy going gal who works for an airline...so shift work. Ideally would be looking at something that does have multiple bathrooms, or even the ensuited bedroom - just means I won't wake anyone up when I'm slapping on some make up at ridiculous hours of the am for work. I currently live in Newstead/Bowen Hills area. I am open to moving anywhere Inner North. Would love to have some sort of outside area/pool to keep cool. Air Con would be a godsend, but is not a complete must..I would settle for a ceiling fan! Due to the shift work, you may not see me at times. But I am very social, so do like to get along with who I live with, catch up over some wine and dinner, but then on the flip side, I love to kick back and just chill. On days off you'll find me down the coast! I'm getting in early - I'm needing out of my current pad Mid April. So if you have something or would like to look together - please get in touch xx
This unit is awesome. 1 street back from Wooloowin train station - takes you to the City in 8 minutes, Valley in 6. Clean and modern inside. Netflix and unlimited Internet for an additional $30 per month. I am a motorcycle rider and this room would be ideal for another rider, as I use the lock up garage exclusively for my motorcycle/ tools/ bike gear, and you could too! It's a quiet street and a lovely apartment. I keep it clean and tidy and would expect my housemate to do the same, although I'm pretty laid back. The whole apartment is completely furnished - you will only need to furnish your room. There is limited storage so if you have double ups of furniture that I already have, you will have to store it elsewhere. I'm quite a social person and ultimately my housemate would be someone who I could be mates with and crack a beer after a long week. I like all people enjoy my own space, but the unit isn't huge - so I want to be able to consider my housemate a mate mate too! If you're all about keeping to yourself all the time, this probably isn't the joint for you. I should mention I'm 23, but I work in a professional environment and I'm very much not interested in parties/ predrinks every weekend. A couple of beers with mates is about as crazy as I get. Please don't apply if you're young/ immature. FYI - the room is unfurnished, but if you do need it, I have a queen bed and bedside table plus there is a built in wardrobe
I am from Colombia, I consider myself a happy and positive making the most of every day,I like listen to music, I try to exercise most of the days(sometimes I fail), I am a easy going person, working full time in the financial industry, married, however my wife is going to be away for 6 months thats why I'm looking somewhere nice to be for the following 6 months. I prefer a private room and private bathroom.
Brisbane born and raised full time worker In my early 20s and have lived out of home since I was 18 so I'm not new to the housemate game I work full time at Suncorp Insurance Tuesday - Saturday so you won't see much of me during the days but always keen to have some beer and banter at the end of one! I love cooking massive meals so if 'family' dinner nights are your thing that's fine by me. I can also tell when people need their space so don't feel like I'm going to be hanging around 24/7 Looking for a nice modern place with some relaxed people. Happy to pay extra for the best room in the house! Feel free to message me
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
Hi I'm Hannah, I am 19 but mature for my age. I am going into my third year of Interior Design at QUT. I have a car so a parking space is necessary and would ideally like to be located near a train station. I have lived in a share house for the past 2 years so know how to live peacefully and understand and respect other people's privacy and property. I have always paid everything on time. I am neat and tidy and pretty social - love a good chat, movie nights or afternoon bevos. I am always down to do something like suss out new cafes or going for walks. Please swing me a message if you're keen to team up!
Hi there. I'm Riko. 27 years old girl. I'm working in hospitality field. I like chatting with housemates when each of us have time , but still can respect their private time. I love traveling and hiking. I like clean place. I can keep your room very clean and tidy.
Great unit in a small complex of 8 close to public transport (trains and buses both nearby). The room is really open and bright with built ins and you'd have your own bathroom. Netflix on living room tv, dishwasher, air-con in the living area and a decent sized courtyard area with a BBQ. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, (rent remains the same either way) and there is off street parking. There is a single garage but its just being used for storage. About 1km from Lutwyche Coles, theres a small convenience store and bakery a short walk away as well.

I'm 21 years old currently halfway through studying a law/psychology degree. I enjoy reading or getting out and about during my free time. Happy to help clean up and do my share of housework etc
Hi, I am a (relatively) young professional who is looking for a place to call home! :) I work Mondays to Fridays and I like to keep active so I'm often out doing some sort of sport most of the days. I like coming home to a relaxed environment. I generally keep to myself but enjoy casual banter and would like to socialise occasionally. The best shared house experience I had was when we were not just housemates but friends, and would love to find people I really get along with! Sharing a glass of wine, watching tv, or even playing sports together sounds amazing! I am very easy going and don't like to make a big fuss about things. I prefer an environment where everyone is just aware and considerate of everyone else and we help out if need be. I have lived in various shared house environments for a quite while now and know how to keep things tidy and clean up after myself, along with the other basic stuff like paying rent on time etc etc. Feel free to get in touch with me if you think we might get along and/or have questions! :)

Move date Feb 27th. Permanent job, part time study, always busy with work, study or hobbies. Hoping for a low maintenance place as I'm spending too much of my time cleaning. I don't mind the cleaning and yard work but don't have time for it. What I do have time for is chilling out when other people are home. Happy for a chat when people are up for it, or letting you do your thing. I can come with or without a dog depending on the place. I have a whole house worth of furniture, ready to put into a new house. Some of it has seen better days so I'm happy to sell it if necessary.
Hi! I'm a fully qualified hairdresser I'm just about to turn 21 very mature for my age ! Have my own car ! Looking to move in with girls ! Don't have many friends in Brisbane ! I'm a tidy and neat person ! Love to go to the beach out for a few drinks and like to just chill!

I love to cook and share. I keep open communication and respect others. I like to keep a clean house and always restock the loo paper! I have a lovely fluffy dog who is house trained but he needs a yard to run around in as he has lots of energy. Yes he does bark at passers by, but he is a dog after all! Me.. I am sociable but also like my own space. I don't drink and would prefer someone who has a healthy relationship with alcohol. I have my own bedroom furniture, and most other household things if needed. Built in wardrobe space would be gr8 though. ;) Preferable early Feb.
