I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat chocolate leather sofa; TV unit, Small and large storage buffets; furniture for a 2nd bedroom you could use, a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. Possibly more furniture from family and I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be. Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flyscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
Hello, I'm Laura! I'm looking to move in Feb. I enjoy cooking, hiking, beach trips and reading, and I'm (very slowly) learning Spanish. I tutor at UQ and am in my second year of a PhD in psychology. Living near public transport to UQ is important to me. I'm tidy and respectful, a non-smoker wanting to live with other non-smokers. I'm working on being more environmentally conscious, and I enjoy creative new ways to reduce plastic/ landfill etc.! I'm looking to live with one to three other people in a friendly, peaceful home - ideally with at least one other female for some sister solidarity :) I enjoy my own space but am also looking to have good chats and learn from each other.
Quiet street within walking distrance from train (6 mins), busway station (5 mins) and Centro Lutwyche (10 mins). House is a renovated Queenslander with large kitchen, deck, and plenty of space. It is fully-furnished with fully-appointed kitchen complete with utensils, crockery and cutlery. Your bedroom is the largest with walk-in-robe and en-suite. It is furnished but flexible if you have your own bed, etc.
Hi I'm Raymond. I am moving from Townsville to Brisbane in January for work. I'm an engineer working in the medical field. I'm clean, quiet, and I enjoy my privacy, but am always up for a chat. Ideally looking for a chill place with one or two housemates. I'm flexible with location, but ideally looking relatively close to the city or public transport, preferably the trains. I work full time but in my spare time I like to catch a game of footy or cricket, chill and watch some Netflix, and catching up with friends.

Andres is a PhD student at QUT. He is originally from Colombia but lived for a long season in Germany. He now speaks Spanish, English and German and has traveled across five continents. He is a very responsible guy committed to his work. In his free time, he likes to play with electronic gadgets and go outdoors for some rollerblading, parkour or slack-lining. Diana is a biomedical engineer from Colombia. She was working for a latinamerican-leading biomedical company but chose to take a break to improve her English and travel a bit around Australia. She is a bit of a gym-junkie and likes to cook delicious Colombian dishes in her free time.
Teash, Jenna and Louis (fur child) here... we’re looking for a new addition to our townhouse in Wooloowin! The room is unfurnished with a double mirrored wardrobe, ceiling fan and air con. You will have your own bathroom which is directly next to the bedroom. The house is already fully furnished and there is some storage space in the garage if needed. Off and on street parking, we alternate the two car spots. We’re only allowed the one dog so no more pets - sorry! If you have a decent job, pay bills on time, clean up after yourself and can respect other people’s privacy then you’ll fit in well. Bills... Rent is $200 weekly, internet is $20 monthly and electricity is about $130-$160 quarterly. Our current roomie is buying his own place and will be moving out at the end of the current lease on 7th feb so we’re looking for someone to move in on 8th feb. Shoot us a message if you’re interested 🙂
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28, currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house is appealing:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
Hey, I'm a kind, fun, creative dude. Working as a barista in the city mon-fri (early mornings). Love cooking, (wouldn't mind sharing cooking sometimes) health and fitness, the outdoors, music and socialising. Got a little espresso machine and a little record player. Currently learning guitar and vocals so a musical or creative household would be ideal! I'm super tidy and would like to join a tidy house. Very organised guy so i'm all over them bills. Otherwise really chill. Looking for a place with air con (ideally in the room), a dishwasher, multiple bathrooms or ensuite and hopefully a pool! Ideally an apartment close to a train station too. sidenote: I cannot do cats. Allergic. I'm pretty chill about housemates having the odd spliff but want to avoid stoner houses tbh.
PLEASE NOTE- LOOKING IN ADVANCE- WILL NOT BE RELOCATING TILL MAY 2019 Hey guys, work FIFO, so away half the time, home half the time.... not a normal schedule. So potentially looking for a household that also works an odd schedule. Love music, sports and exercise. Tidy and respectful.
Hi, I'm a young professional working in Grange whilst studying at uni. I'm a neat, tidy and organised person who is very community and volunteer driven. I'm looking to start a share house with one other person within a reasonalble distance to work and the bus way for uni. I'm a scout leader so between work, uni and scouts there may be times where you never really see me. I also have some considerable dietary requirements so would potentially be interested in sharing the occaisonal meal but not often. (Contaminents aren't a problem with food prep) Not a fan of drugs or smoking.
I am a really respectful person, someone who's easy to chill with but also is really aware of boundaries/privacy. I work part-time at the moment and my shifts really vary, but I'll be at uni this year and looking for a really laid-back household to be a part of.
I will be starting my first full time job as an Economist in the city after recently graduating. I enjoy going to live music, watching movies and going to the gym, along with having a mild addiction to going out to eat great food. I am very laid back and easy going.

Hi I'm Joshua. I'm a third year med student and I will be commuting to caboolture on weekdays for the first 6 months of the year and working as an AIN on weekends. I'm easy to get along with, tidy and love to chill out and talk with my current housemates when I'm not running around for uni :)
Hi guys. , I'm open minded person who enjoys simple things in life... I'm coming from Colombia, here 3 years ago and wanna stay 2 years longer. I'm a barista and swimming teacher and I would love to find a place which makes me feel like home without any drama.
I've been living in sharehouses for the past year and in that time I've learnt what makes a good (and bad) house mate!! Pulling your own weight, I think, is the most important thing when living with others, along with ensuring common areas are left the way they were before you used them. I'm currently studying journalism full time online with Deakin University, and I also work at Lourdes Hill College in Hawthorne doing various roles (teacher aide, reception, admin) and this varies between part time to full time contracts. So, I'm quite a busy person and when I'm not working or studying I'm most likely at the gym, watching Netflix or (on the rare occasion) socialising! I'm looking for a room for cheap rent so I can save money!! I don't have any other preferences, but living with flatmates that are courteous and respectful would also be amazing. The lease in my current place is up on Feb 14 2019 so I'd like to move the week prior to this. My preferred lease time is 6 months, but if all goes well, I'd like to stay longer!
This place is is close to train station and bus stop. I am usually in the city within 10mins. The place is fully furnished. You can choose to furnish your own room, however, there is already a bed in there. Enough storage in the garage. All bills are inclusive to the rent. I work full time and sometimes on weekends. I like the occasional glass of wine and a beers. I am very bubbly and easy to talk to person. I also like camping and 4x4ing so happy for you to tag along if you like :) I look forward to hearing from you.
I am 18 years old, please don’t be discouraged by my age. I was born and grew up, here, in Brisbane. I am very easy going, clean, friendly and reliable. For work I work in childcare as an early childhood educator, I usually (99.99% of the time) work 5 days a week... So on the weekends I usually just like to relax and enjoy my me time or have a cheeky night out in town.
Hi future flatmate. I'm Jiyun from S.Korea. About me I'm working on Mon - Fri in the city. I'm tidy, reliable, respect others privacy and always pay the rent on time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely Jiyun
