Hi there, I'm Freya! I'm from Melbourne and I'm moving to Canberra for work! I've recently graduated from Uni and am looking for an awesome roommate/s to have the occasional Netflix and wine night with (or Stan, whatever floats your boat)! I like to keep super active, and you'll probably find me out jogging or exploring on the weekend. Hit me up if you think we'd be a good fit!

Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hey there - I’m a journalist moving to Canberra to cover politics. Looking for somewhere close to Parliament. I’m very clean, very friendly, and possess an adorable Scottish accent. Plus I alway pay bills on time. The only downside is my cooking, but I'm working on it.
I am 24 yo, having recently moved to Canberra to start my PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. I have spent considerable time traveling over the last 1.5 years, changing continents every 3-4 months while doing research in space sciences. I have lived in Canberra for 3 months last year while working at Mt Stromlo. I am a fairly easygoing and flexible person. I like to keep my house neat and tidy and respect everyone's personal space. I have lived in sharehouses before and have gotten along pretty well with my housemates. I enjoy a drink or two here and there and like to socialize. I love cooking and sharing meals (if you love Indian food, you can save lots of dollars you spend in Indian restaurants xD). In my free time, I like to binge watch Netflix, go out for movies/drinks or read. I like playing badminton and spend two evenings every week at ANU Sport with my badminton club. I am also good with pets and can help you take care of them if you have one. I have been very punctual with respect to rent and bills. I have a scholarship to pursue my PhD which can conveniently take care of all my expenses. I am looking to join a friendly household where I can feel like home. If you think we can click, please feel free to drop a message! PS: My moving in date is flexible and can be anything between October 1 - October 30.

Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work as a consultant. I'm an always doing something kinda guy, so I really dig going out to the mountains or parks, checking out the city I live in and am really sociable. I don't smoke and I'm not the kind of person to get smashed on drinks every night of the week. I more just chill drink with mates every now and then. I'm a really clean-oriented person so I'd like housemates that are happy to help keep the common areas neat.
Hello, I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney for a work contract. I have previously shared accomodation in Sydney and overseas. I'm looking to move in or share with someone respectful and peaceful by nature. You can find me on instagram below. I would like to move in by 30th of September. I am looking for a place around or nearby Barton ACT 2600. Please call or text me if you think we're a fit or have any availability.
Hey there! I have recently moved to Canberra from Wagga Wagga where I have been completing my business degree, I plan to keep this up at UC. I have been living in a share house for over a year. I am an easy going person who is willing to have a drink but respects space.
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
Hi! I'm Cristina, I'm a 24 Spanish recent graduate in International Relations and I’m looking for a place to stay in Canberra from late September early October. I will be doing a full-time traineeship at the European Union delegation to Australia for 6 months and will love to get the opportunity to share a flat with students/young professionals in Canberra. I’m an easy going person and I like to interact with people from other nationalities, I’m also pretty used to it as I have a room rented to international students in Madrid and I shared apartments before in Istanbul and Beijing, where I did my undergraduate exchanges. I love travelling, having good food, relaxing and reading, watching movies and sharing stories. I also enjoy having a glass of wine with my flatmates although I respect their privacy and space.
Hi! My boyfriend François (28) and I (Gemma, 24) are moving to Canberra for a year and we are excited about finding a nice and cool place to stay. François will continue his PhD in Biology at the ANU and I will be working full/part time and doing some art courses. François is originally from Southern Germany and I come from Barcelona (Spain). We are currently living in Berlin, where he is doing his PhD in Parasitology and I just finished my MA in Arts and Media Studies. We are both sociable, open-minded, easy going and enthusiastic persons who love to discover and learn new things. We love to be outdoors, travel, and enjoy the cultural scene (music, art, cinema....). We would love to find a place where we can feel like home and we can create bonds with the people we live. We'd preferably share a house with other young people. The option of renting two rooms sounds also good for us. If you're looking for new flatmates please contact us. We'd love to meet you! :) Gemma and François
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I do like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. Despite this site requiring preferred suburbs to be listed I’m open to considering anywhere in ACT. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting mid October (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
I have just moved from Sydney to Canberra, working at Thales. I am fit, very clean, into hygiene and ALWAYS clean up afterward. I am into cycling and fitness training. I keep myself busy between work and training, but love to have a few drink or diner with flatmate(s). I have moved to Canberra since May and looking for another ideally fully/semi furnished room initially for a 3x months stay but likely extending. The location of the property must have bus stop or cycling path to get to 70 Kent Street, Deakin. As well as waling distance to Woolworth / Coles / IGA, and restaurants is a plus.
Hi there, joined ANU as PhD student in plasma physics (Fusion Science and modelling) in August .Pretty much chilled out. I have shared houses for many years back in India and am looking for a new place with some down-to-earth folks in Canberra .Clean , understanding ,mature ,fun loving , explorer , nature lover, these are some things that describes me. I often go on treks. Contact me if you're interested in starting a new place - or if you have a place and can find room for me, Arunav and my stuff. Peace
Young professional who just moved to Canberra. Working full time. Looking for a place to live close to the inner city. I am a friendly, neat and tidy housemate and always respectful for others and their space. At the end of the day I like to kick back with some good food, glass of vino and a movie. Always up for a housemate chat and dinner. In my former life I was a bartender so I can make a mean cocktail or two :)
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.
Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
I'm back in Canberra (studied and worked here previously) after several years overseas. Got lots of good travel stories. Aiming to cycle to work at Black Mountain most days, like to be active, and usually out and about on weekends. Environmentally conscious, like my own space but also social and ready to have a chat. Ideal place would have (in decreasing order of importance): awesome housemate, carpet, sunshine, views, gas cooking. Love cats so that would be an amazing bonus!
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
