I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into an already established sharehouse ASAP. I would prefer a smaller place, maybe only 1 or 2 other people if possible. I love to just chill out and read (I'm a giant bookworm and spend 90% of my time reading) or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good chat and movie marathon. I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. Looking in the inner South as I work in Manuka and don't drive so I want to be able to get home from work at night easily :)
Looking for a fourth housemate to move into our very spacious home in Yarralumla, which is an absolute steal for the price. The room is unfurnished, and quite large with plenty of wardrobe space. You will be sharing a bathroom with two others, but we haven't found this to be an issue. Shared areas of the place are furnished. The house is a 10 metre walk to the bus stop, and and a 5 minute walk to the lake.
I am relocating from the Gold Coast to Canberra in mid November to start full-time work. A couple of years ago I moved over from Colombia and I recently finished my Masters in Accounting at Bond University. I’m a clean and friendly person that respects each other’s space. In my spare time, I enjoy walking along the beach (which I will miss), going on hikes, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places.
Please chuck us a message via flatmates as I am still overseas :) I'm 22 and moving back to Australia to start a new job in the public service after working abroad in Fiji for the past year. I am a foodie and wine lover. On the weekends I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra's best cafes, bars, book stores and farmers markets. I love to travel, ski and take photos. I also love the outdoors and am keen to explore nearby hiking routes, and road trip out to Canberra's closest beaches. I am easy going, organised, tidy and respectful of space and privacy. I generally like to follow a quiet routine during the week but am always happy to catch up over dinner, wine, a cuppa or a board game. Happy to enjoy the occasional social gathering as well. I'm looking for a friendly and easy going share house that will provide easy access to Barton and the city centre. Ideally I would like a place that is female or mixed and has a backyard. I will be bringing with me: my car, furniture for my room and stacks of cookbooks. I'm am hoping to move in after new years, ideally by late January but am flexible.
I am a professional working in business relocating to Canberra for work. I am clean, reliable, friendly, easy going, sociable while still being respectful of others boundaries. I like meeting new people, engage in good conversations and when I have time share with my flatmates what I concoct in the kitchen. I am looking for a quiet place and like minded flatmate(s) who keep up a friendly atmosphere.
Hello all! I'm a third-year PhD student at ANU. I study anthropology, with a focus on Ecuador. I'm looking for a pretty chill place to finish writing up (which will be a while yet!). I like to share the odd communal meal with housemates, but am generally pretty good for everyone to just do their own thing. I'm quite tidy, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom, and generally don't leave my stuff everywhere. I mostly enjoy reading and a bit of writing, as well as playing a little guitar. I'm also partial to the occasional boardgame, particularly if it's over a drink or two.
Oh hey I’m Becca 👋 Currently living with the folks but planning to move out once the uni semester finishes up. Looking for a place to live that won’t send me broke! Most days I'm usually up early to hit the gym and work keeps me busy during the day. My party days a loooong behind me but I enjoy catching up with friends for the occasional Friday night drinks, BBQ or girls night (which are never big nights). I also enjoy a chilled out night on the couch (binge) watching Netflix too. The kitchen is one of my happy places - I like getting creative with my cooking and baking. I also like to do roadtrips, lake walks and brunch on the weekends. I thought I would give the share house thing a go - might give me a chance to do some solid saving over the year (for more holidays!) and get to meet some friendly new people along the way.
Hi I am a going to be returning to Canberra after a semester abroad and will be entering my 3rd year at ANU. I will be working and studying quite however I do enjoy a board games night or a night out here and there! I’m a non-smoker, so would prefer a non-smoking house. I love travelling and as soon as I save up enough money I will probably be booking my next trip! I’m planning to be returning to Canberra some time in February 2020, if you have a spare room for me send me a message and we can chat!
About to start Honours at ANU whilst working close to full time. I also have a horse so between those three things I keep quite busy. I am looking for a relatively social household with clean and respectful housemates. I love boardgames and chat after work but I am also quite studious and appreciate my alone time.
We're Declan and Craig, 24 and 36, and a couple living and working in Canberra. We both work full-time and are sociable, friendly and reliable. We enjoy hanging out with friends and having a few beers to relaxing, listening to music and watching a film or three. We love going on adventures, visiting new places and camping. We love eating out and cooking as well. Looking to move to inner north or inner south, but pretty flexible in this regard. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hey guys! I’m a 25 year old full-time APS worker who is moving to Canberra from the Gong in January 2020! I’m pretty easygoing and like to cook, go to the gym, read, get outdoors and taste plenty of good food/coffee. I’m hoping to find a house that is clean and tidy, with people that enjoy having a good chat and maybe a casual wine while watching The Bachelor (or a really shit show like Antiques Roadshow). I like my own space also and a bit of peace and quiet most weeknights. I’ve been living in share houses for the past four years and consider myself to be a pretty decent housemate. Always keen to clean and chip in on household items. I always pay rent and bills on time too. Hoping to find some people with the same vibes! Shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit for you! ☺️
