Hi! I am an APS grad starting in early Feb, moving down from Brisbane having just completed my Bachelors in Journalism and Law. 25, friendly, clean and tidy, have lived in share houses the last five years and college dorms before that. I'm always up for a chat, enjoy sharing a meal and making a place feel like a home, but appreciate we all have our down time. Love the outdoors, I'm anticipating a few hiking adventures and ski trips so would love a flatmate who's keen to get around that! Resident doggo/s not a problem.
Hey! I'm Daniel, I have just graduated from a law degree in Tasmania and I'm moving to Canberra in February to take up a position in an APS Grad Program. I am looking for a room for rent and one or two housemates. I'm a housemate for all seasons - I like my own space and to chill, but would be more than up for a chat, cook or adventure on occasion. I'm clean, neat, patient, respectful and a good listener. I have spent the past two years living on my own and the year before that living in a share house and I enjoyed both. I love music but promise to put on headphones and keep it quiet. Please feel free to message me!
I am an Interior Designer who enjoys adventures, yoga and pilates. I am currently studying my second degree one day a week in landscape architecture. My family live in a small country town which I love to visit. I am looking for a housemate who is down to earth, easy to talk to and has positive vibes. I do enjoy peace and quiet but also love a good chat and a glass of wine!
I'm back in Canberra (studied and worked here previously) after several years overseas. Got lots of good travel stories. Aiming to cycle to work at Black Mountain most days, like to be active, and usually out and about on weekends. Environmentally conscious, like my own space but also social and ready to have a chat. Ideal place would have (in decreasing order of importance): awesome housemate, carpet, sunshine, gas cooking. Love cats so that would be an amazing bonus!
Moving to Canberra in Feb 2019 to take up a new job in Government. Will be returning to Sydney each weekend, so looking for somewhere comfortable and convenient for Monday to Friday. Easygoing, self sufficient, neat and friendly.
Recently relocated to Canberra to start a new work contract, I'm looking for a place to call home. Initially for 3 months to see if its a good fit, but ideally longer term if it works out well. I'm experienced in sharing living quarters, neat and tidy, pay bills on time, social but not a party animal, I like home to be a sanctuary and endeavour to create a peaceful harmonious environment. Creativity is my thing, movies, music, art, galleries, theatre, books, community events, nature, walking, animals, coffee, magazines and good quality sleep. Sydney girl by birth but have lived all over Australia and overseas. Love travel, including being a tourist in my own town. If you want someone reliable, responsible and a great homemaker, having had her own home for many years, let's talk.
Hello! So I'm moving to Canberra to start a full time job with an animal welfare charity. Initially for six months but all going well the move will become permanent. I've been in share houses for years, so respect privacy, tidiness etc I'm pretty chilled out but like a couple drinks at the weekend. Weekday evenings I prefer to exercise, cook and netflix. My main interests are horse riding, skiing, camping, hiking, camping and diving. I'm originally from London but moving from Sydney. As I have family in Sydney I will likely be travelling back there some weekends. Plus I like going away for weekends camping with my car. I'm looking for a sharehouse with outgoing, clean, likeminded people! I have a car so street parking as a minimum would be great. Open to anywhere with pets but sadly cannot live with cats due to allergies. LGBTQI+ friendly.
Hi, I've recently relocated to Canberra from Melbourne. I work full time in the APS and in my spare time enjoy reading, cooking, and playing sports. I am looking for a room not too far from the office ideally with my own bathroom, but am flexible on that.
Hi all! I'm relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for a full-time role with the APS in early February. Bit about myself I am originally from a place called Yeppoon in FNQ and have been living in Brisbane for the last 5 years for uni. I am a social butterfly who enjoys travelling, watching the latest reality TV and exploring on weekends. I am super neat, respect people's privacy and pay all my bills in advance and am looking for similar housemates. I can bring to the house a TV, couch, queen sized bed and a bar fridge but am happy to sell everything should there not be room. I have a car so will need parking. Hit me up if you have anything going :)

Anything else anyone would like to know feel free to ask.
Hi, I work as a Finance / Business Manager in the NFP sector in Canberra. I am a friendly, easy going, mature age person who likes to cook, share a laugh and the odd wine. I am a responsible person who respects other people and their belongings. I like to keep houses organised, neat and well maintained. I have good handyman skills, pool maintenace skills, and gardening skills. I have a friendly personality and am a keen sports person. Please call/email me to discuss your accomodation rental requirements and I can tell you more about myself.
3rd year ANU student who is respectful and easy to get along with. Worked in hospitality for 9 months, so I know how to keep a place clean and tidy, and how to run a kitchen. I'm into playing sport, cooking, crime fiction, card / board games, and going to the bar with friends. Not a party animal. Accepting of people from all backgrounds. Looking for someone who is also clean, tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. Looking for a place in cycling distance of ANU. If interested, I'd be keen to meet for coffee or something.
House-trained final year medical student (this means: busy most days (at least) 9-5, studying most nights, keen to have company over meals when that works out). Financially secure (I have a scholarship and work part time). I've lived all over Australia, enjoy meeting people, cooking, conversation, the odd glass of wine. Looking for quiet household where I can study and relax. I like outdoorsy things (hiking, cycling, water sports) when time permits. Happy to live with those who value privacy and prefer to do their own thing but equally flexible and enjoy social interaction with housemates during downtime.
Hi I'm looking for somewhere to stay short term, or if you room for a handsome house panther, I'll be here all year. He's safe up north for now so anywhere is ok at the moment As for me, I'm a public servant and I've been spending my weekends checking out Canberra's music and art scene. I like it here! There's so much on! The basic stuff: My budget is 200-300per week ex-bill's. I'm looking for a house or apartment to share with one other person but will stay with two if the for is right. I'm a non-smoker and would like to share with someone who doesn't smoke. Other good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks, baking cakes and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. My household pet peeves are food and dirty dishes left in sinks overnight and grimy, dirty or dusty floors. I like my pad dust, ( human and pet) hair and crawlie free. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. What else: my lovely cat is George. He's my little house panther. I would love to bring him here so if you do have space for both of us or would like to team up on a lease, feel free to get it contact. I'd be happy to Skype or call. Cheers, Rose
Hi my name is Song, I'm 25 and from Melbourne and I'm due to start working in the APS this Febuary 2019 so here I am looking for a share house in Canberra! I'm easy-going, sociable, respectful of people's privacy and space and I love to keep things neat and tidy. I love to cook (whether I'm good is entirely subjective aha) and I enjoy a drink or two from time to time. My hobbies tend to be indoors most of the time, binging TV shows, exploring the depths of Youtube and attempting to understand art house cinema, but I do enjoy hiking and exercising to get some fresh air. I'm looking to share a house with people that are independent but sociable, clean and easy-going as well. I'm looking forward to working and living in Canberra so if this brief portrait interests you, I hope you'd consider me for a roommate, and contact me via phone at 0416716869 or firstname.lastname@example.org
I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, swim, try out random classes at the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.
G'day, I'm in the process of transferring to ANU/UC for my 3rd yearish studies in IT. I have experience living in shared accommodation for the past two years with a large number of other housemates. I am excellent at staying tidy and would prefer housemates who keep areas clean. I'm a fun, laid back dude who'd be keen on getting to know new people. On my off time, I enjoy working out, surfing, bouldering, gaming, and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am an avid believer of everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are clean, sociable, and most importantly, good people. Open to moving into existing sharehouses or teaming up and setting up a new home. Unfortunately I'm allergic to all pets known to man except reptiles and fish apparently.
I am mature and am very adaptable. I am clean and tidy. I enjoy socialising but respect boundaries. I am quite active and enjoy the outdoors. I am currently living in North Queensland and will not be in Canberra until mid January. I am relocating to Canberra to begin work with the Department of Environment. I love animals, so I don't mind if there are pets. Being a North Queenslander, good heating is a must as I am not used to the cold at al. Also I am happy to live in other areas than those I have listed, I am not very familiar with Canberra, so the ones listed are just suburbs that I have googled. I have a car and so public transport isn't a necessity.
I’m a postdoc at the ANU, doing research in threatened species conservation. Outside of work, my interests include climbing, yoga, riding my bike, swing dancing, camping, hiking... I’ve been in Canberra a couple of years now (previously Melbourne and other places). I consider myself a considerate, clean house mate. I go to bed relatively early through the week (as I get up early) so looking for a quieter home but also one that’s friendly and open to kitchen chats etc :)
I am starting a graduate position with the APS. I am fairly social and open to hanging out or just relaxing at home. I am looking for a place with a carpark to get myself established in Canberra. Am fairly flexible with the length of stay, if things go well I could be happy to settle in for the longer term.
