Hello, I'm Ian 22 from Melbourne. I'm moving to Canberra in February to complete my masters in diplomacy at ANU. I have lived in share houses in Melbourne and Adelaide. I am looking to move into a positive environment with people who are happy to have a cheeky beverage on occasion but also content just doing their own thing. I pride myself on paying bills on time, respect for communal areas and consideration of my flatmates. A few of my interests include cooking, eating out, bad dad jokes/ puns, volunteering, photography and gym. Looking forward to meeting my future housemates!
G'day i am easy to live with as i work 50 hours a week doing shift work in mental health. In my free time i like going to the gym, yoga and the Wood Work Guild. I am respectful and considerate of others, i believe in keeping communal areas clean and tidy at all times. I also enjoy cooking and garde ning.
I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
Hi my name is Kiara :) I work full time at The Canberra Hospital as a nurse. I am friendly, clean and easy going. I love bouldering, skiing, travelling and gardening. On my days off I like to go on adventures or out with friends
My name is Szymon and I'm starting my full-time PhD studies in philosophy at ANU late February. I'm 28 yo and Polish. People say I'm fun; I don't intend to be too fun though and I spend most of the time reading/writing. I've got a generous scholarship, so don't worry about me paying rent on time or something. I have an office at ANU and I will be working from there (or from a library). When at home, I sleep a lot, like to cook (mostly vege but I'm very flexible in terms of food) and read. The noisiest think I can imagine doing are pushups or sneeze. I'm tidy, great at small-talks and a left-bottom on the political compass. I'm not an extrovert or something and I have the deepest respect for people's privacy. I don't party a lot, I prefer to grab a beer in my place and have a chat about politics, literature, music etc.

Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
Hi my name is Mitch. I’m 26 year old full time worker and currently live in Newcastle NSW. Seeking some fun, casual, like minded housemates. Very socialable guy that enjoys a good balance of hanging out and privacy. Love the outdoors and very sport and activity orientated and a massive music fan. Enjoy baking and cooking, though my strengths lie in the cakes and pastries department. I’m a clean, organised and like to maintain gardens and yards if there is one. Movie nights are a massive yes and brunch adventures on my days off are always on the table. Looking to move down mid February as I will be starting my new job a few days after so very keen to move down reasonably quickly. No pets and non smoker. By no means am I a party animal but I do enjoy the occasional get together and drink. If anyone is interested please contact me anytime, or if you have any questions shoot me a message :)
Hey, I'm Loren. I work full time and study so live a pretty busy life and would love a friendly and comfortable house to come home to. I'm a chatty person, love shitty TV, tea and I've always had a great relationships with old housemates.
Hey there, I’m moving to Canberra totally fresh from Austria to do an internship at the Austrian Embassy. I'll arrive in Canberra in the end of April and will stay till July (6th-ish). I’m a 26 year old graduate (sociology) who likes meeting new people and making friends. I am looking for nice roommates, whom enjoy a good glass of wine and netflix marathons, as much as exploring the city and socialise. I am a tidy and respectful person with six years of flatsharing experience. Please hit me up if you think I'd be suitable to join your house :)
Greetings, I am a recent graduate relocating for work. I have an 'easy going' demeanour and would prefer an arrangement lasting a six month period whilst still maintaining the option to extend.
I’m a teacher, super tidy and organised. I do love a glass of wine every now and then but don’t really ‘go out’ as such any more .. I was born in Sydney, grew up in Canberra and spent 15 years travelling before returning to Canberra 3 years ago. I’m here to stay now (time to grow up and be sensible hahaha)
Hi! My name is Bess, and I have just moved from Adelaide to Canberra to start a new-grad job at the Canberra Hospital as a dietitian. I am clean, tidy and respectful of peoples space! I am looking for a household that is fairly social, that will allow me to explore Canberra and make some new friends! I am quite active, and love going out for brunch, coffee or hanging out for a drink!
We are a friendly and clean couple who both work full time (Jonas as a mechanic and myself as a consultant). When we're not working we’re at sport or uni, but also enjoy relaxing and finding new places to eat and drink. We're originally from the South Coast so often go home to visit on weekends. We’re looking to move from our current accommodation soon but are flexible with dates.
I am very quiet but friendly boy with respect for everyone, working full time as a restaurant manager in Fyshwick. I have recently moved to Canberra from Sydney, so looking for friends as well. I am a smoker but its okay for me not to smoke at home. I would like to team up with others to share a hose together if I cannot get any single room.
I'm originally from Brisbane, and have just moved down to Canberra to start a grad job with one of the departments down here. I'm 26, and have lived in sharehouses back in Brisbane, so I understand that space and privacy are important, and that everyone needs to pitch in to keep the place clean and tidy. I've travelled a little bit (I spent about 11 months in Latin America) and want to do more at some point. I speak a little bit of Spanish as well, so I'm always looking to improve on that. I like going to the movies, particularly the foreign film festivals, but I'm definitely no connoisseur. Likewise, a Netflix binge is a favourite to chill out after work. I like to read, but definitely don't do as much of it as I'd like to, but I hope to change that this year. I also like watching sport (cricket, rugby union, NRL, I'm getting more into the AFL). Given I'm new to Canberra, I'm keen to get out and do stuff on the weekends, and meet new people, and I certainly wouldn't be averse to becoming friends with my housemates.
Hi there, I will move to Canberra from Sydney for study and work within one week. I am looking for one or two females/couples to share with. I am a easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and chat with people. I wish we can become good friends to hang out together and can look after each other. But I do respect privacy at the same time. I am a quiet person, but do enjoy hiking, bbq, yoga and other outdoor activities. I have a five-year old Bichon Frise (small dog). If you do not mind, he will come with me. My boyfriend has to stay in Sydney to work, but he will fly to Canberra every weekend and stay 2-3 days with me. I am a tiny person. My interests are swimming, watching movies, travelling, and reading. I have no friends in Canberra, if you go to Canberra under the same situation, we can help and look after each other.
Hi, my name is Fergus and I am a looking for a place to rent in Northern Canberra as I study and work part time. Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Canberra to pursue a double degree in Arts (IR/Poli Sci) and Business Administration. In my spare you would find me playing basketball, on a ski trip, reading or hanging out with friends. I am generally tidy and respectful of others. I'm looking for a place for the next year - potentially two. Let me know if I can help you out with a team up/to fill a position!
Hi I'm Lachlan, I'm working full-time in the public service and am seeking accommodation ideally in the inner south/north of Canberra, though I'm open to anywhere. I'm friendly, easy going and have a good sense of humour. I am quiet, clean, mature and respectful of my co-inhabitants and ideally want the same in return. When I'm not at work or out exercising, I like to relax and watch Netflix, watch sport, play video games and read. I have a 3 year old well-trained Kelpie with me, so I'm looking for somewhere that is pet friendly and ideally has a yard. I'm happy to socialise and have quiet drinks. Cheers :)
Hi! I'm Tomás from Chile and I will soon start my PhD in plant science at ANU. I want to live with someone who is easygoing, open-minded and keen on keeping his/her place clean and ordered. These are the basics, but I'd also like to call my flatmate a friend, so I can tell you I'm very passionate about how nature works, I love being outdoors, gardening, I like books and movies (a lot) and to share a nice conversation with a good beer/wine. Also I'm a good cook and I love to share that with others. At other times I like to keep to myself and study, read, write or play the classical guitar. I'd like to live in a place at cycling distance (<10 km) from ANU, and which I can call home. If you feel like we'd make a good match please don't hesitate to contact me for either joining your house or teaming up. I will be staying in Canberra from Feb 28th and will have a couple weeks to look for a more definitive place. Cheers!
