Hey everyone my name is Cohan, I've been living on the GC for close to 15 years now and I just can't seem to bring myself to leave this perfect slice of paradise.
I'm currently working full time as a demolition worker but I have spent the past 10 years working in hospitality so I might disappear on the occasional weekend for a rockstar shift but I mainly use it as an excuse to catch up with old work friends and socialise.
Despite this I'm definitely more of an introverted and nerdy kind of person, I love running games of Dungeons & Dragons, putting together and painting Warhammer mini's, or firing up some Mario kart on the Nintendo if anyone feels like having a game. Otherwise i'll probably just be chilling listening to music, reading and soaking up some sun, or getting out to nature to just relax and get some fresh air and exercise.
I'm used to sharing a house with 4 others so I do enjoy getting to say hello to everyone and chatting/decompressing with a beer and a smoke after work even if its only a 2 minute conversation but you're welcome to absolutely chat my ears off if you're so inclined, I think all that time in bars has turned me into more a listener than a talker.
I understand the importance of cleaning up after yourself and cleaning as you go when in a share house, as well as respecting other peoples belongings if they're being used in communal areas as I think it's the same common courtesy everyone deserves.
During weekdays I'll usually be so tired from work that I struggle to make it past 9pm but don't worry if you're up later normally as I understand people have their own schedules and lives, if I'm awake especially early for work I always try my best to be quiet too as I know what it's like finishing a 12 hour bar shift at 2am only to be woken up by obnoxious noises throughout the house at 4am by someone going to work.
I've got no problem with people inviting their partners or friends over either, as long as it's not an every single day type of thing, I'm not a party person either but I don't mind if others like to go out and enjoy themselves or have a few friends over, as long as the house isn't pumping till the am hours every week I won't be bothered.
If I sound like I might be a good fit for your house please message me, I look forward to meeting you!
