Carlos

Hola! My name is Carlos. I’m originally from Venezuela, South America, and I’ve called Australia home for about 15 years. I’ve lived in Melbourne, Adelaide, Mullumbimby, Gold Coast, Mossman (Far North QLD), and even spent some time travelling in my van.
For the past year I’ve been living in Newcastle, and now I’m looking for a new place to call home.

I recently completed my studies in Cybersecurity in Melbourne, and I’m currently working full-time as a support worker and really like it.

✨ Personality

I’m a good mix between introvert and extrovert. I’m social and love connecting with people, but I also enjoy my solo time. Different sides of my personality show up depending on the moment — good vibe.

I’m open-minded, respectful, and not the judging type. I really believe life is meant to be experienced with curiosity and kindness.

I’m very active and love anything connected to nature and movement:

Running, swimming, bouldering

Surfing & anything ocean-related

Vipassana meditation

Board games & card games

Sunrises and sunsets

Cooking (especially arepas — if you haven’t tried them yet, we can make some together!)
I’m also keen to try sailing classes on a catamaran this year.

I’m very clean, tidy, and look after the space I live in. I value a peaceful, respectful home where everyone feels comfortable. I like Boogie here and there. I get along well with different personalities and I’m always willing to understand people’s point of view.
