About me
Hello there, I am Anja, a 35yo full-time worker and looking for a new place in early February.
I am originally from Germany and moved to Brisbane in Oct 2019 for my PhD in brain cancer research.
My current lease is ending in the first week of February and I am looking for a new sanctuary that I can call my home. I completed my PhD just recently, and leaving the “dog days “ behind me, I would like to find a likeminded, respectful housemate to share a quiet place with.
I am working as a postdoc in a lab in Herston, leaving the house at about 7am and coming back around 7pm. Outside the lab, I am a keen runner and cyclist and keep myself active every day.
After work, I enjoy a bit of me-time and mainly stay to myself, but always up for chats with my housemates of course! I usually don’t invite people over, but I am never opposed to a little cheese/gin/beer afternoon gathering on the weekend.
