My name is Guilherme but I go by Yoshi. I'm moving to Brisbane for a research job at UQ. The plan is to move mid-April, but I will scout the place over the Easter weekend (fri-mon), when we could align a visit to the house and/or a coffee.
I have shared homes for the past 10 years, typically in 4 year-periods, as I've moved cities a few times. I'm respectful of personal space and privacy, but also keen on a shared meal, board game, movie or go for a day out.
I'm looking for a home near greenery, communal style-living, with a large garden (I'm happy to look after it), open spaces, light, and cozy furniture with personality. Wishing to share and contribute to, preferably, a friendly queer house, though of course an exceptions can be made for open-minded straight allies. Happy to chat more about compatibility.
Pets are more than welcome: I've lived all my life with dogs and happy to look after them in your absence. In the case of cats, cleaning often is a must because of mild allergies. I come with Harry, an adopted blue tongue lizard.
I love anything outdoors and nature related, with an active life style if I'm not crashed out for the day. Love some good entertainment and chillout when I'm home - gardening, chats, books, series or films, board or video games, both cooking and eating great food With your permission, I'll fill the house with plants...
Happy with a furnished room or to arrange my own furniture.
Hit me up for a chat or call if you're considerate, open-minded and friendly, either a professional or a post-grad student.
