Hi future flatmates :) I'm Tara and I'm looking to move into a friendly girly household sometime at the end of the year, but I'm super flexible.

A bit about me as a person -
I’m a massive music lover, I love live music of any kind, concerts, festivals, raves or jam nights, I’ve been trying to go to more local gigs recently to support small local bands and listen to more Aussie music as well. I'm super friendly, and I would love to be friends with the people I live with. I'm keen for roomie movie nights, op shopping days, scrapbooking or painting or baking with the girls, or I love a cheeky DIY project. I recently started learning how to sew which comes in handy for making costumes for parties and holidays (I’m not very good but it’s the thought that counts). I love getting dressed up for any event, and I always go all out for Halloween and Christmas, I love a theme! I'm also learning the bass guitar so hopefully I can jam with some musicians soon but don't worry, I practice with headphones. I love my current household but I'm planning on going back to UQ starting in 2026 so I'd like to be closer to campus. I'm going to be studying event management :)

Me as a roommate -
I have 5 houseplants and a tiny cactus that I've proudly kept alive, and a few small pieces of furniture I'd be happy to contribute to the house (some outdoor benches and a gorgeous green tile coffee table I found at an antique store). I'm used to living in shared spaces and am considerate of noise levels and using shared facilities, and I have such a soft spot for beautiful old queenslander houses <3 I don't have a car so I won't take up any garage space or street parking, and obviously always pay rent and bills on time. I just started a new job as a barista at Starbucks in the city (dream jobbb yay!!) so I’m an early riser for my brutal morning shifts. I'm fine with any pets, I'm such an animal person and have lots of love to give to your furry friend!
