Hi! I'm Claire, a 31-year-old TAFE teacher with a passion for community services and mental health.

I currently teach community services, but next year I’ll be transitioning to teaching mental health – something I’m super excited about! I’m also a qualified Mental Health First Aid instructor and have a background working in community mental health, so I’m really dedicated to making a positive impact in my work. My job is a mix of teaching on campus, a bit of of work from home, and involves quite a lot of out-of-hours tasks (marking, marking and more marking 😅) so I’m ideally looking for a house with other working professionals who respect a quiet space when needed but also don’t mind a bit of a yap at the end of the day!

A little about me - I’m originally from Newcastle (NSW), but I’ve had the pleasure of living in some very cool places: Hertfordshire (UK), Dublin, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, currently based in South Melbourne - now I’m looking to settle on the Northside of Melbourne, a bit closer to my work! I LOVE to travel, meet new people, and enjoy a good pub session and great conversation!

I’m also LGBTQIA+ 🏳️‍🌈, love to spend time with friends and family, and I’m keen to live with open-minded, friendly people who are happy to share the occasional drink and chat, but also respect each other’s space and work routines.

I’m looking for either an unfurnished bedroom in a share house, or to team up with a few others and get a lease somewhere!

Fairly flexible with move in date, but either move in mid-December, or early January as I will be away from 18-28 December visiting family in NSW.
