Hello Australia :)

I am moving to Brisbane as a visiting research assistant at the QUT between September - December. I am originally from Germany, where I work at the University of Muenster. Sometime next year, I will try to finish my promotion and get a doctoral degree in information systems. Well... that's the plan, at least :)

I am an open and active person doing a lot of sports. Most prominent, I play American football semi-professionally in my hometown and work as a part-time skiing instructor in the winter. But to be honest, I can be enthusiastic about almost any activity as long as it has something to do with sports.

I enjoy meeting new people and participating in social activities of pretty much any kind. Be it in a bar, club, or just a simple game night with friends. Behind the sports mania, I still am a geek who likes to play board games for hours ;)

I am looking for a flat that allows me to commute to QUT in a reasonable time with people eager to do some activities together. Although I have to work during the day, I would love to explore the city and surrounding region.
