Seeking the shes, theys and gays!
Hi, we are Ja-Ann (they/she/he) and Cynthia (she/they), seeking 1-2 housemates with shared values, happy to live with 3 cats, and preferably have a higher budget than us and happy to rent the larger room/s in a home.
We are both queer, POC artists in our late 20s, with a combined max budget of $480, looking to start a 3-4p share house around the outskirts of the inner west (e.g. Ashfield, Homebush, Parramatta LGA).
Prioritising homes with minimal to no stairs, sunny, well-ventilated, ideally with a garden (we both crave nature!), close-by to public transport. Our intended move-in date is 21st September.
We're looking for someone preferably also queer, trans, BIPOC, disabled/chronically ill and neurodivergent and/or with shared values of anti-racism/anti-ablist/not a terf or swerf/sex and body positive etc.
More broadly and importantly - we're looking for someone open to having conversations with us in a communal, repair-oriented, empathetic household built upon trust and ideally friendship as a foundation 💖

My cats Toothless and Peanut are shy boys, and still young - as a warning, they can get noisy when they get the zoomies at night!

An outgoing ray of sunshine with fire/air big three placements, artist, dancer and historian of Peruvian and Polish heritage. Proud mumma of Michilin, a sweet, slow and chill ginger cat. Lover of ballet, dreamy photography, baking gluten-free desserts and being in the sun.
What we bring to the home: A mix of social yet respectful of personal space, direct and compassionate communication, sharing of house duties, flexible based on individual capacities, sharing of common household items, food and happy to offer a helping hand, or occasional car ride if you need one!
