Hey, I’m Klay! 30 y/o designer and future builder.

Half Turkish, half Macedonian, and I’ve been living in Melbourne for almost 2 years. I’m working towards a diploma in Building and Construction and picking up part-time jobs, always self-funded and independent.

Most of the time, I’m in my room making music (always with headphones), gaming, or binge-watching something random. I’m tidy, chill, LGBTIQA+ friendly, and super respectful of everyone’s space. Bit of a geek, bit of a Greek, art lover, wine enjoyer, coffee snob and heaps more once you get to know me.

I’m looking to move closer to the CBD, Fitzroy, Abbotsford, Thornbury, Northcote, or Preston — pretty much anywhere along the Mernda train line.. If the house has good energy, I’m in. Let’s make some good memories (or just enjoy the quiet, both work).

I click best with people who’ve got a bit of empathy. If you’re introverted, no stress, I can be the same sometimes. No pressure to be anything but yourself.

I speak five languages (English, Turkish, Macedonian, Greek, and some Spanish), and I’m learning French. Always down for a casual language exchange, one of the best things about living in a multicultural city like this.

What I’m looking for:

-My own or ensuite bathroom

-A bedroom that doesn’t share walls with other bedrooms

-Housemates who respect basic house rules, like keeping common spaces tidy and being mindful with noise (phone calls, Discord chats, etc.)

-Chill house with respectful people

-Decent sound privacy (I’m into music but always use headphones)

-Easy access to public transport and shops

-A clothes dryer
