I’m Indi, 24, and I moved to the Gold Coast about four years ago. I work full time and still visit my hometown fairly often, so I’d say I’m home around 70% of the time.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, spending time at the beach, exploring new places, and I’ve recently started photography as a side hustle. Animals are a huge passion of mine, and I’m hoping to offer my home as a safe place for dogs that need last-minute rescue before they move into a long-term foster or their forever home. Because of this, it’s important that housemates are dog lovers and comfortable having foster dogs around. Ideally no permanent pets, just so the dogs can decompress without the presence of other animals (even though I’d absolutely love one of my own!).

I’m pretty easygoing and naturally quite quiet, but once I’m comfortable I’m an open book. I’m respectful of people’s space and good at reading when someone wants company or when they’d prefer their own time. At the same time, I’d love to build a genuine friendship with the people I live with, as most of my friends here have come from work since moving up.

I’m quite clean and like to keep my things in their place, but I also understand that life gets busy sometimes. I’m very much a “you help me, I help you” type when it comes to keeping shared spaces tidy.

My sister occasionally visits with her husband and their 1-year-old. It’s not a regular thing, but it would be really nice if I could offer them my bedroom when they visit and I’d happily sleep on the lounge while they’re here.
