Hi everyone!
I need to move in 4 weeks maximum and I’m looking for a place to live.
Ideally, I’m looking for something long-term, but if I can’t find the right long-term place within that timeframe, I’m also open to a short-term arrangement.
What I’m looking for long-term:
* North Brisbane ideally, but I’m flexible if it’s not too far. Areas like Bowen Hills, Albion, Lutwyche, Wooloowin, Kedron, Chermside, Wavell Heights and surrounds.
* A single room.
* Private bathroom preferred, but I’m flexible with the right person.
* Garage or easy street parking.
* Good access to public transport — maximum 1 hour commute to the city.
* I’m totally fine with dogs, but unfortunately I can’t live with cats as I’m allergic.
* A granny flat would be my ideal option, or a room in an established home. I’m also open to starting a brand-new lease together.
About the flatmate:
* Preferably a woman.
* I’d only consider living with a man if there are solid references from women who have lived with him.
* Someone easy-going, not a party person, who enjoys a Sunday lunch at home, wants to make friends and build a collaborative home environment, and values open and respectful communication.
A little about me:
* I’m 34, a solo mum to the coolest 3-year-old girl in the world. She is kind, friendly and pretty easy-going.
* I have shared custody, but I have my daughter around 60% of the time.
* I work in financial planning during the day and teach forró as a side gig.
* I love listening to music, enjoy reading, watching movies/series, discovering new parks and going for walks.
* I have my own furniture if the place is unfurnished.
* I’m very easy-going. I like a clean and organised home.
If you have anything short-term available, please let me know where, the price, dates, etc. as well — that could be a good Plan B for me.
Cheers! 😊
