Shannen and Harry

I, Shannen (32), and my fiancé Harry (29) are moving to Melbourne from Newcastle at the beginning of October. I‘m in hospitality management and Harry is an interior designer.

We met in Manchester, UK while I was on a working holiday visa and Harry returned to Australia with me in early 2025. We’ve enjoyed our time by the beach in Newy - I’m from here, and after a long time away it’s been lovely to reconnect with my friends and family - but we’re ready to move to a bigger city with more career opportunities. I am transferring to another venue with my employer and Melbourne has more to offer for Harry.

Together we enjoy travelling, trying out new restaurants and bars, hiking and keeping active, going to gigs and music events, planning our next trip and generally being social with our friends.

We’ve been living in share houses for 10 years each and know the value of being considerate of shared spaces and cleanliness.

We are friendly people and are looking for a house with others who share our ideals around shared living spaces.
