Hi, I’m Freya.

I’m looking for a clean, peaceful and comfortable home where I can feel settled and hopefully stay long-term if it’s the right fit.

About Me

I’m friendly, respectful and easy to live with. I mostly work from home doing office-based administrative work, so I appreciate a comfortable and reasonably quiet environment during the day.

Outside work, I enjoy photography, lifestyle content creation and occasional media projects. I also enjoy swimming, going to the gym and playing basketball.

I’m tidy and considerate of shared spaces. I don’t cook very often, and when I do it’s usually simple meals. I always clean up after myself and like keeping common areas neat.

I’m a spiritual person, but not religious. I enjoy a peaceful, positive and balanced lifestyle.

What I’m Looking For

Bedroom

* Ideally at least 15 sqm.
* Preferably with an ensuite or private bathroom.
* A good-sized built-in wardrobe or plenty of storage space.
* Good natural light with larger windows.
* Ideally the bedroom windows are not south-facing.
* A bright, fresh and open feeling rather than a dark interior.

The Home

* Clean, well-maintained and uncluttered.
* A comfortable shared living room that everyone can use.
* Ideally no more than 4 people living in the house, including myself.
* Bright interiors with plenty of natural light.
* Solar panels would be a bonus, as they may help reduce electricity costs.

Preferred Areas

Bentleigh, Bentleigh East, Carnegie, Ormond, McKinnon, Brighton East, Hampton or nearby.

Being close to GESAC would be a big bonus, as I’m a member there and regularly go for swimming, the gym and basketball.

I’m not looking for Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Housemate Preferences

I’m looking for respectful, considerate and easy-going housemates who value cleanliness, open communication and mutual respect.

I believe a comfortable home comes from understanding and accommodating each other, rather than expecting perfection. Everyone occasionally forgets something or has a busy day, and I don’t think small everyday things—such as forgetting to take the rubbish out once or not loading the dishwasher perfectly—should become unnecessary sources of conflict. I prefer people who communicate calmly, are solution-focused, and treat each other with kindness and respect.

I also respect that everyone has their own lifestyle and social life. I’m completely comfortable with housemates occasionally having friends or their partner over, spending time together in the living room, or having the occasional small gathering. As long as everyone is respectful of the shared spaces and considerate of one another, I have no issue with that.

I would prefer a home with no pets, or pets that don’t create strong odours, excessive shedding, constant noise or significantly affect the shared living environment.
