Yu Qian

Hello! I am an exchange student from Monash Malaysia who will be studying in Monash Clayton from 19 Feb to 8 July and I am looking for rooms for rent, preferably in an all female unit/one person studio.

About me:
1. I love making friends and I speak multiple languages (English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Malay, basic German)
2. I love to cook! I usually cook Chinese dishes suitable for a Fujian/Guangdong palette (my spice tolerance isn’t the best). I’d love to cook with my flatmates!
3. I have had experience in living with flatmates and I keep my spaces clean and tidy all the time. In fact, my nose is a little sensitive to dust so I clean my spaces on any other day whenever I can so best believe I take good care of cleanliness!
4. I do not smoke nor drink nor do drugs, and I do not have pets.
5. Dietary-wise, I eat pork so I hope my flatmates would be okay with this! I’ll get separate crockery for cooking pork if this is a concern (which I understand!)
6. I love animals (especially cats!) so if you have a fluffy friend in your unit, I wouldn’t mind!
7. I would love to explore Melbourne and Australia if I have time so I’m down for road trips/hikes!

What I am looking for:
1. All female unit
2. I’m looking for flatmates who are easy-going and responsible. I’d love to be in a diverse unit!
3. Rent budget max 300pw for single room, max 325pw for en-suite/studios with bills included. Lease period of 4-5 months.
4. I need WIFI, heating, cooling, and washing machines
5. Walking distance to Monash Clayton (15mins walking distance maximum)
6. A space to store a bicycle (Im considering to get one!)
7. For inspection, I hope it’s possible to arrange an online session, as I am currently still in Malaysia
8. I may have some female friends based in Melbourne who would visit me occasionally just to hangout, but we do not party so I hope this is alright with the other flatmates.
