Hi I’m April, I’m 32 and currently doing my PhD and am looking for a short term rental from mid/end of June.

I am looking for a room for ideally 2-3 months - furnished is a bonus, keen for a sublet :) My move date says June 30 but can be earlier if that aligns with a euro summer trip. Can also stretch my budget to $350 for the right place.

I have lived in sharehouses for 10 years from large houses to small apartments - I’m considerate of other people and respect that we all hope to feel at home in a rental.

I spend a lot of time on my PhD so am not a super social person right now, although I love to chat and sharing my snacks is my love language (homemade tzatziki) and drink 5+ cups of tea a day. As a housemate you will find me waiting for the kettle to boil.

I like to work outside of the house at libraries and cafes - and when I need time to wind down I love to make the most of it and see live music and explore local bars and restaurants. I also love to read, crochet and visit art galleries.
