Hi! I'm Tom - I’ve just moved to Canberra from Sydney for a full-time APS role on a 6 month contract, starting here in mid-February. I've worked for the last 11 years in a hands-on role for a welfare charity/NGO in Sydney, but I've now undertaken a career and city change in Canberra. I am single and in my early/mid 30s, and I don’t drive (so I don’t need a parking spot).

I have a keen interest in art, movies and indie rock music, and enjoy watching a wide variety of sports. I'm a non-smoker/non-vaper, LGBTQIA+ friendly and am respectful of others' space.

I eat gluten-free (coeliac), so I'm attentive and careful about my own cooking, cleaning and food preparation before and after I use the kitchen.

I won't be in Canberra every weekend, as I have many connections and plans in Sydney still, but I'm looking forward to seeing everything that the city has to offer while I'm here.

I'm looking for a place for 6 months, but this may be extended depending on the availability of my role once my contract is finished.
