Hi! I’m Chris (he/him) - a 25 year old looking for a room to lease starting from early–mid March, ideally around the inner northern suburbs where I work, socialise, and spend most of my time. My budget is around $200 per week.
I’m hoping to find a home that feels relaxed, kind, friendly, and thoughtfully curated. I’d love to live with people who are more than just housemates — ideally friends who enjoy chatting when we cross paths and occasionally sharing a meal or a night out. I’ve got a great social circle in Melbourne (mostly fellow Canberra expats like myself!) and would love to gently merge worlds if the vibe feels right.
A little about me: I’m a physiotherapist by trade, currently working as a furniture removalist. I love travel, film, art, music, and anything that gets me moving — and I’m always up for a chat about these things. In my spare time you’ll find me working out, skating, hiking, swimming, cooking, watching films, reading, enjoying a glass of wine, or (my absolute favourite) having a boogie with my besties.
Personality-wise, I’m warm, gregarious, and enthusiastic, but also reflective, curious, open-minded, and a bit sentimental. I sit pretty comfortably in the middle of the introvert–extrovert scale — I love deep chats just as much as silly bits.
I’m fairly busy and enjoy being out and about, but I’d really value living somewhere I can also connect with housemates, whether that’s cooking together or heading out occasionally.
If this sounds like it could be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
Much love
