Hi, I’m Aurora 😊
I’m a 29-year-old Korean female moving to Brisbane in late June (arriving June 23) on a Working Holiday visa. My friend and I will be coming together, and we’re looking for a home where we can both stay (2 separate private rooms in the same house). We’re planning to stay for at least 6 months and preferably long-term.
I majored in International Trade at university in Korea. After graduating, I worked for 2.5 years at a company supplying ship equipment and spare parts. For the past 3 years, I’ve been working in a freight forwarding company, handling import and export shipments. Overall, I have over 5 years of experience in overseas sales–related and international logistics roles.
Throughout my career, I’ve regularly communicated in English with overseas clients, which made me realise how much I want to further improve my language skills. That’s one of the key reasons I decided to start a new chapter in Australia.
In Brisbane, I’ll be looking for office work or possibly a barista position while improving my English and gaining new experiences.
We are both responsible, financially stable, and serious about settling down properly rather than just short-term partying.
I’m an early riser and not a party person. I prefer a quiet and peaceful home environment. I’m naturally introverted and very respectful of others’ space — you’ll hardly notice I’m home. However, I’m adaptable and easygoing, so I can comfortably adjust to the household atmosphere and different personalities.
We are both non-smokers, have no pets, and don’t host parties. We love animals though, so a house with pets would be absolutely fine.
I’ve lived alone in Korea for years and always kept my place clean and organised. We respect shared spaces and take cleaning seriously — I even enjoy doing deep cleaning from time to time.
We are tidy, considerate, communicative, and we truly value a calm and respectful living environment.
Please feel free to message me if you think we’d be a good fit.
Thank you 😊
