Hey there I'm Kieren,

I'm a 28 year old qualified optometrist who will be working full time in Rosny Park when I move to Tasmania in mid-July. I am currently working and living in Wollongong NSW, but I originate from Melbourne Victoria.

I am looking for a share house to stay in for 6-12 months while I look for my own apartment, however if the community we create in a house together is wholesome with a great dynamic I would consider staying much longer!

I have lived in share houses for over 6 years and very tuned in to what makes a house hold feel like a community, I'm aware of the responsibilities I would share in contributing to the atmosphere and cleanliness of a shared space. I love cooking for others and sharing food, and I am interested in curating a home that feels welcoming. I'm also keen to do hobbies together as I find my groove in a new state.

I've lived in households with only women before and am respectful of the difference in dynamic this can create, I can also provide 5 references from previous housemates to prove that I am a safe and respectful male to live with. (Also love sharing the tea)

I very much love my career as an optometrist, but when I'm not working my list of hobbies is extensive lol. I run regularly and depending on what life in Tassie is like I'll be swimming, bouldering, hiking, camping, playing tennis or indulging in whatever new hobby takes my interest.

I care very much about a clean & tidy home, I'm not interested in living in a messy house that does not feel loved or cared for. I appreciate greenery, and thoughtful systems and processes that ensure fairness and cleanliness without being overly neurotic. Would prefer a progressive household that is LGBTQIA+ friendly, and are considerate around things like recycling and fairness with bills.
