Gulsen

Hi, I’m Gulsen. I’m a nursing academic from Türkiye and I will be moving to Sydney in mid-September 2026 for a 12-month postdoctoral research visit at the University of Sydney.

I have previous international experience through Erasmus and other stays abroad, and I have lived in shared accommodation before. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and I’m comfortable living respectfully with others.

I’m looking for a clean, furnished private room in a safe and friendly sharehouse, ideally close to the University of Sydney or with easy public transport access. I would be very happy if the room has an ensuite or private bathroom, but I’m also open to shared bathroom options if the home is clean and comfortable.

I’m tidy, respectful, responsible and easy-going. I enjoy a peaceful home environment, but I’d also love to live with friendly housemates, share occasional conversations, improve my English, and experience daily life in Australia.

My preferred move-in date is around 15 September 2026, and I’m hoping to stay for 12 months or longer.
