Hi! I'm Iana, 25, originally from China. I'll be arriving in Australia on 18 December 2026 and starting my Master of Nursing at Southern Cross University in January 2027. I'm looking for a room available from around 18 December.

A bit about me:

I'm fairly introverted and enjoy having my own space. I usually spend my free time studying, watching movies or relaxing in my room. I'm tidy, responsible and respectful of shared spaces, and I always clean up after myself. I also enjoy cooking simple Chinese meals and am happy to share some homemade food with my housemates from time to time!

In my spare time, I enjoy arts and crafts and doing my own nails. I mostly play single-player games. Every now and then, I play co-op games online with friends and might use voice chat, but I'll always keep my voice down so I don't disturb anyone. I also enjoy playing card games like UNO and other board games with people in person. If my housemates are into that kind of thing, I'd be happy to join in and try out some new games too!

What I'm looking for:

I'm hoping to find a quiet, clean and comfortable home with considerate housemates who value privacy and mutual respect. I don't plan to host parties, and I'd appreciate living with people who feel the same. I hope we can get along well, respect each other's routines and personal space, and be considerate when using shared areas. I also love dogs and am happy to live with cats or other pets.

Ideally, I'm looking for a private bedroom with a wardrobe and a desk. I'm happy with either a shared or private bathroom. I'd prefer a place where electricity, water and internet are included in the rent. Having gas included would be a bonus! A parking space would also be a big plus, as I'm considering buying a car within my first 6–12 months in Australia. Once I've settled into the area, I may also look for a casual weekend job nearby. I'm looking for a place where I can stay for at least 3 months, ideally 6 months or longer.

I have sufficient funds to cover my tuition and living expenses, including rent, and can provide proof of funds if needed. I'm hoping to find a place I can comfortably call home throughout my studies!
