Xinyi

Hi! I’m Xinyi, from China. I’m a second-year PhD student at Monash University, researching climate change and sustainable development.

I’ve studied and lived in the Netherlands, Ireland, the US and China, so I’m used to sharing homes with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy meeting new people and I’m always happy to chat.

I’m quiet, tidy and keep a regular routine. I’m usually up around 8 am and asleep by 11 pm. I cook simple meals and clean up straight away. My partner lives overseas, so there will be no regular visitors.

Outside study, I love nature and wildlife, running, the gym, reading, writing and exploring the city on foot.

I’m looking for a room from February to late May, before my fieldwork overseas. I’ll be back in August and would be happy to stay on if it works for both of us.

I’d love a clean, calm home where we respect each other’s space but are friendly.
