$300/week•32 year old non-binary
Hi, my name is Dean and I'm a bioscience student at La Trobe, working towards a career in marine conservation. I'm currently based in Craigieburn, but I'm open to moving to anywhere around Victoria so long as I can still reliably get to university in a reasonable amount of time.
As far as being a tenant goes, I don't smoke, rarely drink, and I'm good at keeping my space clean and organized. I'm fairly quiet, good at communication and keeping up with bills and rent, and will always notify of any foreseeable issues.
If I listed off everything I'm interested in, it would take forever, but I'm very passionate about animals, theatre, art, history and sci-fi/fantasy. I dabble in a handful of different arts and crafts, mostly digital illustration, crochet, painting and writing - I've even had my poetry officially published in magazines in the past!
In terms of what I'm looking for house-wise, I'm hoping for somewhere that will allow me to keep my cat (his name is Magnus, he's about 7 years old, and he's very well-behaved and doesn't shed much), reasonable walking distance to public transport of some kind and has a self-contained kitchen and bathroom. Ideally, I'm hoping to find a studio or granny flat - I don't need much space, just enough that Magnus and I can live comfortably on our own. I'm also willing to pay a bit more in weekly rent if bills are included and/or it makes a difference in me being able to have my cat. I'm also able to move in earlier than the date I've listed, that's actually the *latest* I can move out by, as I have to be out of my current place by the end of November.
I'm happy to answer questions if anyone has them, you can email me or if you shoot me a message, I can give you my phone number so we can text/call if that's easier for you!
