Hey guys, I'm an experienced sharehouser and 9-5 working graphic designer who's in need of rehoming... In less of a pet adoption way, and more of a "I've come back from overseas and need to set myself up again" kind of way. I'm looking for a sharehouse (existing or new) in the inner westside and would love to live in Yarraville, Flemington or Footscray. Open to most inner suburbs though... Richmond has always held a certain place in my heart. Looking to move before 8 January. Here's the lowdown on what I'm seeking: · A decent sized bedroom (shoebox bedrooms get me down) · Some kind of outdoor space (balconies work, courtyards are fantastical beasts, backyards are legend) · Sweeeet minimal / stylish interior design (clutter is not my pal, but I do love a good indoor plant) · Housemates who are clean and tidy and a schmidge house proud · Housemates who like bevvies, a boogey and occasional house parties but are equally courteous about noise and being pests · Being cool with friend(s) popping round occasionally (I'd hope you'll love my pals as much as I'll love your pals) · Paying things on time works well... Like you generally don't get kicked out that way which is tops · Gooood chats; D and Ms, small talk, work gossip, debriefs about that awkward Tinder date... Always down for an update, but equally like doing my own thing Think that's about it from me. If you're thinking "SHE'S THE ONE" or you have any questions, queries or comments, then shoot me a message. I'd love to hear from you!! Cheers, Kat
2 bedroom terrace house in Albert Park offering a large private bedroom for room share or a couple. It is carpeted, and has a large built in wardrobe, and separate entrance to small side courtyard. The rest of the house is fully furnished, (TV, Foxtel, Internet, Microwave, Washer, etc.) and we have a nice courtyard with an outdoor setting, sunlounge. This is a nice quiet side street just off Victoria Avenue. This is a very safe area and I have been living here 16 years, so know the area very well. We also have a cat who does spend nights inside. He is a well behaved little man. We are 20 meters from the No. 1 tram (or a short walk to No. 12 and 96 lightrail). We are also approx. 500 metres to beautiful Albert Park beach. Supermarket and cafe strips just blocks away, or you can catch the tram to Clarendon Street or The South Melbourne Market. It's probably about 20-30mins to RMIT by tram. We have Foxtel and Internet too.
Hi, I’m from Ireland, working as a teacher. Looking for a place to stay early January. I get back from Sydney on January 6th. In Melbourne at the minute for viewing. I'd love a room somewhere close to the beach preferably Elwood or St Kilda. I am pretty flexible on accommodation, open to living somewhere different. I'm clean, tidy and enjoy a few pints at the weekend. I'm active and love to get out for a walk, to the gym or an activity of some sort. Very social and outgoing and love meeting new people. Always up for a cuppa and a chat.
Hey there! We are a Scandinavian couple who've worked and lived together in Thailand and Greece for the last year, but decided it was time to try something new and quit our jobs and bought a ticket to Oz. Happy we did! We now got jobs in and around Melbourne and are super excited about living in this beautiful city! Why should you live with us? Because Nichlas is a world class handyman (no wonder they call him Fixlas) and he loves making (the best) pancakes and can spent hours doing so. Suvi will entertain you with over exaggerated stories with sound effects and wild hand gestures (you have to hear the story about the time monkeys attacked our car in Thailand) and can remove all sorts of stains (she used to work with children). We are laid back, outdoorsy people, love spending Friday nights cooking dinner with or for friends (Suvi's favourite part of cooking is the beer, though) and we enjoy a good balance between everyday adventure and chilling at home with coffee and a book. We are looking for a place to call home for a few months, before we have to head back to Denmark in August for university. We look forward to hearing you :)
Hi there future flattie! Originally from country NSW, I have been living in Melbourne for sometime now. I work full time in the city, in the health industry and am usually at work earlier in the morning. I do like to keep active; gym, beach, brunching and enjoying the colour of Melbourne. Weekends can often find me on a day trip to the country. But on the flip side, a cosy weekend afternoon with a book or a movie is just as welcome. Sharing a cheeky red or a summer cider over a chat or whilst cooking is a great way to finish a day. I have shared homes previously, so do appreciate the importance of open communication and respect for shared and personal space. Chilled, relaxed and looking forward to a place where we can enjoy each others company and our home.
Easy going, clean and tidy, can cook, liberal, mature and experienced, self contained working in secure profession. I am looking for an inner city pad for Mon-Thurs only. Ideally team up with someone looking for some supplementary income without having to deal with a permanent boarder- I escape to family Home down on the Mornington Peninsula for extended weekends every week so wouldn’t be around too much 😊
25 yo, Irish traveller. I will be returning to Melbourne in January on my second working visa. I have a full time job in Melbourne and I intend to live in the city working for six months until around next July/August. I am planning to return to university in September in the UK. I am easy-going, friendly, very clean & tidy, as well as very responsible and independent. I enjoy socialising with new friends, sports, cooking, and enjoying a beer on days off. I'm great to live with because I cook great meals, I've done flatsharing for four years at university and until June 2017 in Melbourne, so I'm used to the dynamic. I'm respectful of others, very non-confrontational and enjoy a friendly atmosphere in the house. Hope to meet you soon!
Available mid Jan (give or take week). Please note im not looking for a place in December but can be available for viewings. I have heaps of house share experience, work full time in allied health, respectful, pay bills on time, sociable. Looking for a 'home' environment where i get along with housemates. Id love a set up where there is 2+ housemates to live with and in a house/town house.
Hello! We are looking for a place from the 15th of December to the 5th of December. We are a chill couple from South America and we will be mainly out and about the city. I have my car with me(I used to live in melbourne) so a place with parking will be nice :) Hope we can find a home away from home:)
I am an easy-going, bubbly person who is respectful and clean. I am a busy individual working and studying full time but would love to create a space with others that is nice to come home to and comfortable/ cosy. I am a musician, but would never intend to practise at the home environment as I have access to facilities at university. I love to go to concerts, try new bars/cafes/ restaurants, I love being active and spending time with friends. Mostly, I believe I am great to live with because I am honest, caring and approachable.
I am looking for a flat mate (female) to team up with to find a two bedroom apartment for preferably a longterm living arrangement. I will be studying full time and when I am not studying I will be working. I have grown up along the Great Ocean Road and moved to Melbourne at the beginning of 2017 for a "gap year" where I lived in Albert Park and worked for the year. I am now looking forward to beginning my degree in 2018. In my spare time I like to socialise, dine and wine, and have a good dance, I also like to stay active and get out and about! Please give me a message if you feel we could be a good fit :)

Hi all, I am a 20-year-old student from Auckland, New Zealand. I'll be in Melbourne for 6 months from the 28th of Jan doing an exchange for a semester at Monash (Clayton). Looking for a fun group of people and a place to flat for a semester. For most of my degree, I've had to be academic focussed but while over in Melbourne I really want to enjoy the social life and let loose on the weekends and explore the new city (love a good wine and a dance!). I love going on road trips, heading to see live music, and soaking up the sun. I consider myself clean, respectful and easy to live with :)
Looking for a place for four months. From LA and Hong Kong amongst other places. Well-travelled, a dance machine, conversationalist, spiritual entrepreneur, objective marketer. I am chatty with people who are friendly. I am independent and I clean up after myself. Being someone who uploads video all the time, the speed of the Wifi will be the main way how define how I happy with the accommodation. I also care about the style of the place and whether the place is furnished. #iAmSerious. Prefer to live with people who are not stiff but open and direct also. How much fun and ease in living can we create together ????
Hey - I'm looking for long-term accommodation with thoughtful and respectful people who appreciate a good chinwag over a cup of tea. I work full-time as a magazine assistant editor, which keeps me super-busy. On the weekends, I enjoy doing my own creative writing and taking it easy. I don't do late nights. I like my environment to be nice, clean and reasonably organised. From Melbourne and work in central Melbourne.
Hello, I'm a physician from Taiwan and had been lived in Melbourne as well as Adelaide for 4 months and 6 months, respectively. I'm going to stay in Melbourne from 30th January to 20th March and am searching for accommodation. I'm responsible and considerate regarding the apartment I stay, just as what I expect for whom I lived with. I like keeping the communal area such as kitchen clean so everyone can enjoy there and prefer not to be disturbed by the smoking or the noise from the base speaker in next door. I love knowing people from different cultures and backgrounds and sharing life experience. Also, tennis, stargazing, and jogging are part of what I like to do in leisure time.
Me? Super neat, hardly home, quiet, pet free, smoke free, drama free! Hobbies include cooking, reading, yoga, travelling and dining out. I work full-time in the city for an engineering company - pretty long hours and I travel for work once a month. During weeknights I'm pretty low key - either writing, enjoying the odd dinner out or catching up with friends. Weekends I'm always out and about exploring Melbourne, rarely home. Looking for a furnished room within 5km of the CBD in a clean, neat, pet-free home.
You'll have your own private room and your own car space, in a perfect location only 1 tram (4km) from the CBD and only 800m from Port Melbourne beach for $190/week. Its available right now for you to move in, otherwise the lease begins on the 24th of December, 2017. The apartment has a living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom and a balcony. I already have a fridge, microwave and other kitchen appliances. You will need to have your own furnishing for the room. Message me for inquiries and inspections! Inspections are held: Sunday 10th December 8-9:30am and Monday 11th December 9-11am Bills aren't included.
Hi potential future housemates! I have recently moved over from Adelaide to further my training and establish a career in performance. The place I am currently in is a sublet that I was due to be in until the end of Jan, but the lovely girl I am subletting from has unfortunately had to end her overseas adventure early and is returning home, which means I have to find me a new place to call home sooner than I thought. Currently in a place on Queens Road and absolutely LOVE the location, so if you’ve got a place on Queens Road I’d LOVE to hear from you. Also interested in places in St. Kilda, Middle Park and Albert Park, the closer to the water the better! I have a 'day job' as most aspiring actors need to do to be able to live a successful adult life and do the whole 'pay my bills' thing. If you're a fan of quality chocolate, I'm your new best friend! I love to socialise, but also love my downtime, it's not uncommon to find me curled up with a book or a movie. Love live music, and a casual beer or wine. At the moment I spend most of my time either at work or at the gym and beach. Would love to hear from you if you think you've got a room that I'd suit, furnished or unfurnished is fine!
Well traveled cultured independent woman, who takes pride in my life and living space. Moving to Melbourne from Perth..will arrive end of January ... YAY I’m chilled, friendly and social but also love a lot of down alone time , like any well balanced Libra 😉 You could find me at a Latin gig sweating it out on the dance floor, browsing through an Op shop, with a good book and a chai, going to Yoga and Thai boxing classes! I am a professional and also a practicing Hypnotherapist, I promise I won’t turn you into a chicken in the middle of the night but could help you with your chocolate addiction 😜 I am Looking for a spacious furnished room, in very close proximity of city and public transport. Look forward to hearing from you, if you have a place in these areas!
