I'm a 23-year-old hospitality worker from Japan who recently finished a degree in tourism. I usually like to spend my weekend playing sports, hanging out with friends, or just chill at home. I'm looking for somewhere not too far from the city/public transport, and easygoing flatmates. I'm quite tidy and organised and can live in a small space as long as it's clean and with a good amount of sunlight!
Lee, 25 from the United Kingdom. Worked in the financial services back home, now currently work in a bar but will be starting at an insurance company next month. I have travelled all over the world and absolutely love Melbourne, looking for a nice, furnished place to live, with sociable people!
I’m a quiet, friendly and easy going Irish girl on a working holiday. Looking for a place for 3 months starting January 24th while I work and explore Melbourne.
Hello! I’m an UK expat here in Melbourne who works full time Monday to Friday in marketing. I love working out and go to the gym every week with the occasional run on the saturday morning! Food is also my life! It’s the first thing I think of when I wake up. I hope you like pub quizes as I would love to build a team to enter a comp at the local pub. Ideally looking for a room for 4 months (end of my working visa). Message me if you’ve got a room! 😊
Hi! I'm Shannon, 18yo male, non smoker. Moving to Melbourne to do Diploma of Sports Development at SEDA... starting on 30/1/19 Lived in Bendigo where i have rented a house for the last two years whilst attending SEDA College, have a great reference from the Real Estate Agent i rented through. My family are from Kerang in Northern Victoria. I love all things sport and like to keep fit. I do a little bit of work for Cricket Australia and some volunteering. In my down time I enjoy a bit of netflix and just chilling out. Just looking for a room and a place to call home near South Melbourne/Albert Park where my classroom is.
I’m from Newcastle, UK. I was a teacher for 6 years and hoping to do some casual teaching while I’m in Melbourne. I’ve already spent several months here working as a live in au pair. Hoping to spend the rest of my working holiday visa here. Will hopefully spend some weekends away visiting other places in Australia. If I’m not being a tourist, then hopefully I’ll be working, going running with Melbourne Front runners, doing a gym class or having a drink out and then getting some food. I’ve loved finding places to eat and drink and hoping that will continue. I’m a clean and tidy person, particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. I think I’m fairly easygoing and enjoy nights in reading or watching a film just as much as going partying. I’d like to be part of a relaxed, tidy house where sometimes we can all just sit and chat or maybe occasionally cook or have a drink together. I don’t want to live in a place where we sit in our bedrooms all of time although can also appreciate that there are times when we just want our own space too.
Hey! I work full time hours in Southbank and will be studying in the CBD from the end of Jan + working part time I’m financially stable, respectful and always busy. Lived in my current sharehouse for about a year now, just looking to get closer to the CBD :)

I currently teach English as a second language in the CBD. I've been living in St Kilda since August 2018 and am looking for a place closer to work.
I am very open-minded, easygoing, and responsible. I plan on finding a full time job and staying in Melbourne ideally 6-12 months. I love being social but also doing my own thing. I enjoy cooking, reading, making cocktails, film, music and art! I am very excited to explore Melbourne and plan on exploring as much as possible. I also love going to the beach and can’t wait to live closer to the ocean. I’m very accepting of everyone’s lifestyles and am looking for other good vibin’ People!
Hey guys! I'm Shannon, a Nurse from the UK, currently working in Parkville. On a 482 visa, here for the next few years so looking for somewhere that could be long term. I'm very easy going, get along with anyone, always up for trying new things and getting to know new people. I can clean up after myself and I'm respectful of other peoples schedules/routines. Always up for a chat, drink or dinner but appreciate everyone likes their own space. If I'm not at work I like to hang out with friends, get out and explore Melbourne, go to the gym, gigs/events but also guilty of a good Netflix/tv binge. Looking for a room in the CBD/ Inner suburbs, anywhere not too far away from work in Parkville ( next to royal Melbourne). Needing a furnished room. Aiming to move in somewhere around the 22nd of feb, with a max budget of 280 a week! If I sound like a good fit for your place or you have any questions just give me a message! Thanks!
Easy going! Love dancing (swing dancing or salsa). I like meditation and acroyoga! I’m from Mexico, so you can expect some nice Mexican food and nice conversations. Spanish lessons under request! :-D Working full time, I want to find a place close to the CBD as I like riding my bicycle to work.
Large, fully-furnished room (including bed, bedside table, bookshelf, coffee table, couch and desk). Location: 5-minute walk to the beach and Albert Park lake; short walk to local shops; 30 second walk to the tram stop (15 minute tram ride into Melbourne CBD); plenty of green parklands about; quasi-private side entrance to house. House includes spacious living area (replete with large television with netflix subscription), sizeable kitchen, laundry (with washing machine and dryer). You would also have your own fridge. Further details include: • Room available for ideally 6 months (from 1st week of March to 1st week of September), but I’m happy to negotiate a shorter or longer stay if required; • rent (including bills internet) in the vicinity of $850 per month (again, negotiable); and • no bond required.

Hi I’m Amy! I'm 38, and currently work for myself as a Visual/UX Designer. My partner Danial is 45 and is a bus driver. Our interests include cooking – Dan’s speciality is on the bbq and mine would be tasty salads and cakes! We love getting out and seeing friends and family, traveling in our camper van or chilling at home watching a new tv series or movie. Also in our tribe is our 6 month old puppy, Lola. She’s a French Bulldog with a tonne of personality. Danial’s work hours may vary from day/night shifts, weekdays and weekends but my work hours around 9-5 Monday to Friday. We were previously NSW Government employees with police checks. We have relocated from Sydney in early January and are very much looking forward to calling Melbourne home and getting out and exploring all it’s goodness!

Hello potential future housemate, I'm Michelle and I'm 34; I work as a Training Consultant in the city. My favourite things in the world are my pets, family, friends and music.. i have it playing almost constantly.. not loudly or through headphones. If you ask my previous housemate; I am low maintenance, because I keep to myself most of the time. That being said.. we do occasionally have dinner and drinks - so I don't always hide away I'm happy to socialise, but also happy to chill and have alone time - my number one priority is my animals. They do drop quite a bit of fur, so cleaning up after them is almost a full time job in itself!! I'm vegetarian, and happy to have occasional meals together, but mostly just take care of myself. I have a couch, washing machine, broken dryer (which I keep meaning to get fixed), fridge and bedroom furniture My pets - Zoe is a Bernese Mountain dog and LOVES people, she is such a happy girl. She is generally an outside dog, and inside with me.. when I am home Luna is a Ragdoll, and is pure cat - everything is on her terms and she is not afraid to ask for it (but secretly she loves attention). Luna is an inside only cat, as her breed has no 'street smarts' - they think everything is their friend. If you would like to know anything else - please ask!
