Hi! My name is Chase, I was born in Newcastle but have lived in Melbourne most of my life and consider myself a local. I am a qualified audio/visual technician, currently on a disability pension and about to commence study in a new field. I have a lot of interests; sports, cars and motorcycles, martial arts, gaming, alternative fashion, piercings and tattoos, reading, cooking, music and music production, TV and anime. I am an animal lover so I'll get along with any critters that are getting around! If possible I would like to get a cat but if that's not a possibility I understand. I am someone with a positive outlook. I like to socialise and find it easy to relate to almost anyone, I love hearing peoples stories! I value tidiness and good communication, and I always pay bills on time. Non smoker. Prefer unfurnished room and somewhere to park car.

Hi I'm Bec and I'm looking for a new place to move in around end May / early June. I'm a clean, considerate and friendly housemate - I'm always mindful of keeping common areas tidy and I'm happy to share jobs / clean! I'm easy going and outgoing so I like spending time chatting with others over glass of wine but I also just as happy chilling out in my own space.. I work full time in city in Finance so am away 10-12 hrs on weekdays, in my downtime I like to go to gym, cook and just chill out in front of tv. I'm an outside smoker and would never disrespect a non smoking household (considerate of trash etc) I have lived with my current h/mate for 3 yrs with no issues and I'm sure she's happy to give references as to how awesome a housemate I am ;) Look forward to meeting new friends along the way and i am not into drugs or drama!

Looking in: Cremorne, Carlton, East Melbourne, Fitzroy, Southbank, Albert Park, Flemington, Toorak, Kensington, Ascot Vale, South Wharf, Melbourne, Docklands, West Melbourne, Southern Cross, South Yarra, Richmond, Footscray, Saint Kilda, Melbourne

Hello, FlatMatties! I am an international student living in Melbourne from last month. I am doing my bachelors from La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and working part time at collins street. I am looking for a place cheap to live. and I am pretty much comfortable with room share or flatshare option. I am mostly out for work or studies and just come back in the night. I am a pretty much welcoming guy and don't have any racial/ religious/ nationality/ gender preferences. I like to party once a while or go out on weekend to beaches or maybe exploring the city but don't worry if the house vibe is not party like I will respect other people's comfort. As I am new in the city I would love to meet people who like to have a conversation with a drink once in a while but at the same time can give me some alone time. I am looking somewhere in the CBD area or any surrounding suburbs from where the commute time to city is 10-20 minutes. I am more than willing to rent out a place of our own and start a share house with like minded people. I am actually looking for long term place but my lease at current place will expire on 15th May and by 15th June I will be going to Canberra for 4-6 weeks. So it will be nice if something can be figured out regarding my vacations in that period otherwise I will be notifying you 2 weeks before moving out.

Samantha

Looking in: Windsor, Prahran, Toorak, Carlton, Fitzroy, South Melbourne, Albert Park, Richmond, Collingwood, Southbank, South Yarra

Hiya! Call me Sam - I'm a 25y/o American who always feels the need to apologize for it. Technically a backpacker but consider myself an adult, a step above the slags who dip out of dodge without notice because Bali is calling or they've run out of money. I'm looking to work a lot and save some money and just enjoy Melbourne as long as I can before having to start farm work. Just started hospo work in the CBD but also looking for work in my background, healthcare admin & management. I'm very active and social but do have Netflix binges and days where I stay in bed reading for hours. I take time getting to know my roommates not just hi/bye in and out the door! Occasionally* partake in what can technically* be called binge drinking, but usually am content with wine on the couch and having dinner with friends/housemates. *This can be adjusted to the mood of the house, I can take or leave partying however it comes*. Love to exercise, read, beer and wine tastings and random excursions found on Groupon - I do not value laziness/apathy for life in myself or friends/roomies so let's get to it! After coffee of course. Looking for a house, NOT apartment with at least 2 other roommates. Preferably older homes with character and furnished but this is flexible.

Looking in: East Melbourne, Essendon, Melbourne, Brunswick, Fitzroy, Docklands, Albert Park, South Yarra

I am a 28 year old Spanish guy. I came to Melburne to study for a long time and I'll be here until march 2018. Nowadays I work as waiter in Melbourne and I'm looking for a private room, nothing luxurious just to have my own space. I am a very easy going and social person. Love doing any kind of sport and I am tidy and responsible with the payments. I need accomodation for a long stay but I would prefer to find a place where I can speak english at home to improve it. I prefer a house with many people living in it, that always means new stories to tell and listen and more people to meet. I love chilling at home but I also like going out, I'm always up for everything. Hope hearing from you soon!!

Johan

Looking in: Fitzroy, Albert Park, Richmond, Kensington, Prahran, Cremorne, South Melbourne, East Melbourne

I am a happy healthy fit uncomplicated casual and non-smoking professional. I have lived in Sydney for the past decade and have opted to relocate to Melbourne (due to a great full time job) and make Australia's sport capital my new home. I enjoy company as much as i enjoy solitude, although a Barossa Red will always lure me into a social gathering. I do not enjoy beer or fast foods. Home and or slow cooking is my preference enjoyed in company, and, with a decent Red. In terms of my living quarters I'm all in favour of Neat and Tidy living. A cluttered environment disrupts my contentment mood. I'd rather sacrifice 60 minutes to tidy the kitchen and communal living area, than slouch in front of the TV amidst clutter and jumble. I'm looking forward to making new friends and EnJoYiNg the abundant array of fine living, Melbourne offers. Please feel free to contact me should you be interested in setting up an apartment/small house. My preference in terms of locations would be Albert Park, Prahran, Richmond and South Yarra. I am open to persuasive arguments regarding other suburbs ... Best of Luck with your house hunting.
