Going to study in RMIT, very excited for the new life here in Melbourne. Eventually want to move to Europe for more future career opportunities. I love animals, good movies, video game, tasty alcohols and having fun, relax during weekends. I am working in hospitality, so mainly during the weekends evenings. Will I be your future flatmate?
Hi there! I worked for 5 years as a college educator before currently working on a master's programme in urban planning and design at monash university. I did my bachelor's degree in english literature, with a focus on film and philosophy halfway through that, leading to an honours year. I love reading, but I also enjoy going to film, music, and urban festivals. I partake in good filter coffee, gin, and red wine. I'm probably an ambivert - I need time on my own, but I love spontaneous meet ups and plans too. I'm also a respectful and tidy flatmate - my current landlord/flatmate can attest to that!
We are Architects from India and studying in Rmit. In July we will complete 1year in Melbourne. We are easygoing people. We love hiking and hogging.
I'm a 29yo from Vancouver, Canada and have moved over to Australia! I work in Human Resources/Recruiting and am currently on a contract with a great company! I have a small cat named Marshmallow... you will hardly even know she is there as she keeps to herself. I like to be active, am social but appreciate my quiet time as well. Really like to cook, swim, yoga and try new things. Always up for an adventure!
I'm super easy to get along with, always friendly and happy, and am very respectful of your belongings and space. I'm clean and tidy up after myself and make very minimal noise. I work in a bar in the CBD so I'm out a lot of the time sporadically as my hours vary. I like keeping active and chilling at home with good grub and a movie!
Hey there, I'm Bobby! I'm a Canadian working as a bartender in the CBD on a Work Holiday Visa. With the amount of time I've spent around people in my jobs, I'd consider myself very easy to get along with as a flatmate. I'm great at keeping common areas neat and tidy, and since I'm going to be spending most of my time working on my online business, I won't be in your hair too much. Although I do enjoy a little quality flatmate time every now and again. To put it modestly, I'm going to be the best flatmate you've ever had. The Wayne Gretzky of flatmates, if you will.
Hi possible flatmate! My name is Bárbara but they call me B or Barbs. I'm a 32 year old chilean (yes, my mother language is Spanish) designer, photographer and ex hiking guide in Patagonia. After a 6 months trip around Europe and Asia I've decided to settle down for a while in Melbourne. Initially I'm looking for a place for 2 months, but if magic happens and we really get along and I'm happy I could extend it until June 2019. Mi maximum budget is $250p/w bills included. I'm a very easy going person, friendly and would be glad to share nice moments and conversations with my flatmates or even hang out when possible. Looking forward to live with someone around my age and with similar interests, ideally a girl. But I don't discard living with a boy. Even though I talk a lot I also need silence and my space to work on my stuff. I move almost everywhere in my car (my bike) so that's why I'm looking for a place which is not too far from my current workplace which is located in St Kilda Road. A 20 min ride maximum cause I start at 7am! Some of the things that I really love to do, watching movies, music, dancing, ridding bikes and horses, hiking, traveling, eating and basically having new experiences! Lately I have discovered that I also enjoy cooking too, so would be nice to cook and share a meal from time to time. Looking forward to have tidy and clean flatmates cause for me is important to have a nice place. I love to go out but I'm far from defining myself as a party animal. Anyway, I prefer to meet people in person and see what's the vibe between us. So, if I sound like a perfect fit don't hesitate to contact me! Looking forward to hear from you! Saludos! (cheers!) B

Hello .. to anyone who reads this; My name is Nathan, I'm 26 years old, Belgian, acoustic guitar player, singer and songwriter, also working fulltime in the field of Electronics Technology. I am currently looking for a place with my Girlfriend Sabriena who is 23 years old from Canada. Sabriena is attending business school in Melbourne May 7, 2018 for the next two years and will be working partime.. aside that she can tell great dad jokes and cook a mean spinach dip!.. (not a singer). We are looking for a long term accommodation (6 months, 1-2 years, maybe longer) now that we went from a Holiday Work Visa to Student Visa. We would like to move in around may 8th. We are VERY clean people (seriously) who also love to cook.. alot. We are active and workout regularly and do whatever activities Melbourne has to offer! So this means.. generally we don't like staying in a whole lot but we do enjoy casual nights in on weekends. We are looking for roommates who like to socialise or have a casual drink and chat with. We are also outgoing and looking for roommates who are like minded.. (we prefer to have a friend-like atmosphere and not just do awkward waves in the kitchen). We do prefer cleaner roommates, for we are organised and WHO doesn’t like a clean looking places eh! So I hope thats enough to say that we are rad to live with! :)
Hi, I am needing to vacate my property in the next few weeks and looking to move into a house in Port Melbourne/Albert Park/South Melbourne region. I have all the furniture and goods to fill a house and thought I would see if anyone else would like to join me. Willing to spend around $250-300p/w. If interested, p.m me and we can see if we would be suitable to live together and you can join me in these house inspections! I do come with a + 1 with my dog. A bit about me; work full time, always busy between playing hockey and touch football during the week, enjoy being social with coffee/wine/beer, very easy going and typically would like to live with others who are like minded and respectful. Cheers:)
Hi, I am looking for a teamup to get a really awesome apartment. I went to an inspection today for an amazingly spacious Penthouse level apartment for $620 per week in South Melbourne, and I took a video which I can share. I'm looking for someone seriously ready to get a lease immediately, because simply put, it's the best thing on the rental market at the moment if you want to be close to the city, with 2 large bedroom, 2 private bathroom and 2 car spaces. If no one messages me in time to apply for that one, I have my eye on a few other great places, so all you need to do is reach out and let's have a chat, if you are serious about signing a 12 month lease as soon as we find the right apartment. Born and bred Melbournian, I've always lived either around Caulfield or the St Kilda area, except when I have been travelling (36 countries) or living overseas (which I did for quite a while). I have an IT background and run a small digital marketing business focusing on photography and local business marketing. St Kilda Sea Baths will be where I spend a good chunk of time, to swim, do yoga and pilates. Also enjoy wasting time catching up on my favourite TV shows most evenings, or going to meetups or hanging with friends or family. I have special software on my PC that can download all your TV shows automatically, anything you want from Netflix and everywhere else. Plus a Foxtel login from my parents so we can stream a decent amount of channels. I barrack for Collingwood and enjoy watching the footy. I'm straight, single and dating - I won't be living like a monk, so if you are open-minded that would be good, I am respectful of noise and easy-going. I have some basic cooking skills, enjoy a beer or wine in the evening and having a chat. I need a rather large room for a desk and my IT/photographic equipment so that means I am working hard to find the perfect apartment that is of a decent size, like the old school ones. I also need hassle free parking (off-street preferably), so you are cool with public transport or finding a place with easy on-street parking, or two spaces. Lastly, I really want a place with a split-type air-con for hot Melbourne summers. I will make sure we get the best internet possible, unfortunately it will probably be ADSL in this area, but if we are lucky there are a few NBN places or places that can receive fixed wireless. I'm well trained, but if we can afford a cleaner every fortnight, I have a russian lady my family uses who does a good job. I can bring couches, TV and a full suite of kitchen stuff, some other pieces - just need a fridge and washing machine/dryer.
Young professional, easy going, happy to watch whatever is on tv, good listener 😊. Originally from Brisbane, I moved to Melbourne for my work. Our landlord wants to move back in so I’m looking for a new place. Prefer my own bathroom but open to other options if the house is the right fit 😊
A beautiful house in Albert park , 1 min away from route 1 tram to city. Route 96/12 also close by. Close to south Melbourne market and beach, Albert park village , MSAC, st Vincent gardens. It's a quiet and beautiful area to be living in.
Hi I am an introvert who loves to socialise with housemates and I view the people I live with as extended fam. I also value having my own social life external to the house. I spend quite a bit of time in my room studying, but love to have a beer or cuppa at the end of the day to debrief and have a laugh. I love cleaning when I have the time (especially as procrastination tactics) and I clean up after myself as I go. My only cleaning request of others is to keep the kitchen clean. I can be shy to start with sometimes, but it doesn't last long. I am studying in the city and working in the burbs. I love my work so I won't be complaining at the end of the day unless to problem slove. I like a dance and I like to go to music gigs. I am pretty positive and happy most of the time, I am a good listener too. I try to stay aware of what others like, get annoyed at and avoid, and I don't mind talking through house mate issues in a sensitive way, even if it gets uncomfortable in the moment, am pretty good at bouncing back from conflict. My previous housemates still try to get me to live with them, so I suppose that is a good sign that I am good to live with!
Organised, laid back, and tidy. Home cooked meals and regular exercise are important to me. I currently work part-time and own a little chihuahua/ jack russell (boy). I'll always contribute to grocery shopping and to any repairs that need to be done around the house. I can also contribute the following to any household I join: - a large dining table - a medium sized silver shag rug - some pots/ pans + cups/plates/bowls - small coffee table - medium size mirror - large vintage chair - (idk how else to describe it) *Preferably an unfurnished room as I have my own stuff* Being near a tram/train stop is vital for my work commitments. I love having friends over and doing some occasional gathering. However, I respect your alone time and your own space as well as tidying up after myself, and generally expect the same from you. I'm very interested in teaming up with a group of people or joining an existing household, but NO COUPLES pls.
I am a Chilean girl in her 27 years of age looking for a bedroom in a house or flat with friendly and responsible people in general, I am friendly with pets. I like to cook cakes, coconut and I love wine. Hope to be your new housemat
I am 32yo Japanese male, working for education industry in CBD Mon - Fri, 9-6. Preferable moving date is 2nd Mar; however, I can arrange a few days before or 1 or 2 weeks after. I would like to stay one place as long as possible. I have been in AUS for 2 years, living in share house. My current owner is leaving AUS therefore I am looking for a new flat. The room must be as below: - a private room - clean and tidy - own key - good access to CBD - No weed/drugs Preferred - close to super market - other facility (gym, bbq area and so) I like cooking everyday and do not mind sharing with flatmates sometimes.
