2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home in Albert Park. High ceilings and wooden floorboards, this Victorian cottage boasts huge bedrooms and cosy living spaces, a small rear courtyard plus a second small secure lightwell courtyard (great for storing bikes!). There's plenty of street parking and easy access to shops and services. Most household furniture etc. is already in place, just bring your bed and move straight in. (open to discussion if you have other furniture) MSAC on your doorstep and Port Philip Bay in your back yard! Choose from 3 trams (1, 12 or 96) to get around easily. Lively St Kilda and the city are just a stone's throw away. About the occupants : Hi! I'm Jill. I'm a busy IT professional during the week and try to hit the gym a couple of days, so I tend to keep fairly quiet Mon - Fri. On weekends I'm most likely to be out and about, socialising with friends, finding live music or craft brew tastings. I'm not much of a TV watcher but it doesn't phase me if you are. I'm open to negotiating any aspect of the way the household runs if it's important to you, just let me know. My current housemate is moving to live closer to her work, so I'm hoping to find someone to become a co-tenant on the lease. There's also the possibility of extending if everyone is happy to. If you have any household items, feel free to bring them. There's a bond of 1 month's rent. Compatible people : I'm hoping to find friendly, considerate, tidy types. I'll respect your space and privacy, I'm hoping you'll do the same.
Hi there, looking for a new spot in Melbourne. I work full time in the city, and keep pretty busy during the week. Home must be non-smoking. Looking to live with tidy, respectful people. Talk soon!
Hey! My budget doesn't include bills/utilities. What I do: I work 3-5 days a week across two GP practices, study one day a week, have a couple relaxed drinks with mates, and escape the city whenever I find a spare day. As a housemate: I keep things pretty low key during the week, I cook, clean up after myself and am a bit of a homebody. Often found reading, doing yoga, or teaching myself a new skill. What I'm looking for: longer term rental, with a room that could fit a queen bed, and a place with a chill/relaxed vibe! :)
23 year old full-time hospitality all-rounder looking for a place to come home, wind down, wind up, goof off, cook all the flavours of the rainbow and gush about the way country music tells a story, and how Netflix is raising the bar for social awareness among all media sharing platforms whilst keeping us off the streets and quelling our inner sesh-gremlins. I am leaving my current apartment in South Yarra, but am holding out for the potential share house fam that I had hoped for when I first moved to Melbourne from regional New South Wales. Sadly, however, I’ve been burned before so I’ll lay all my cards out: doing the bare minimum, housework-wise, ain’t my vibe (daily living mess is normal-pretending you don’t know how the vacuum cleaner works ain’t HUNTY 🙄) and am not interested in living with genuinely lazy housemates who can’t be considerate of others, or pretend to be blind to things that the whole house should contribute to in an effort to keep a house a home. I don’t want just a space to dump my stuff, I’d love to live with people I can call mates and who don’t take themselves too seriously and love having a laugh, a drink, a dance or even a cozy night in but can also sense when you need your space or am exhausted from, well, life 😂 I work either super early shifts or fairly late shifts, and often run out to hit the gym (training to hike Mount Doom in New Zealand in January. Can anybody say NERDGASM) OR to play pool (terribly) on Sydney road with mates OR St Kilda for some bookworm downtime on the closest thing melbourne calls a beach OR Starbucks for that white girl spice. I do own some furniture so am hoping for a decent sized room and am happy to pay the according share of the rent. My limit is $200 a week, and I’m hoping to be fully moved out of my current apartment by November the 5th but I can be flexible with this date. Other important facts include: -I don’t drive so this gal gotta be close to public transport -I’m vegetarian and TRYING to be very environmentally conscious-would love to live with people who can respect that or even help me out on the green front! I went a bit overboard but there you have it folks, if you relate to my crazy or just have some questions shoot me a message!! Xx
Hey, I‘m a 25 year old guy from Germany who wants to settle down in Melbourne for a while. I am working as a tennis coach in Brighton at the moment. I like doing and watching any sports. In my free time I also hang out with friends in a park or watch Netflix. I‘m looking for (an) open minded flatmate(s) with whom I can laught a lot and enjoy my free time. Nevertheless we all should have the possibility to have time for ourselves, too.
I'm from Italy, just moved to Melbourne. I love to have a chat and share a dinner with housemates but at the same time I fully respect others privacy. I have been living abroad for 4 years so I'm used to share. I love to go for a walk, play and listen to music and do sports.
