Heya, My awesome three bedroom rental in Alphington is looking for two different people (no couples) from the 15th April. The rooms are $680 per month each, which includes gas, electricity & internet (not the water tho). Why two people? The level crossing near us is being removed, and for the next month our household is being put up in a fancy arse hotel while 24 hour works happen. My housemates have decided to give notice so they can move out before we are sent home again, but I really wanna stay home afterwards! Alphington is an awesome location and I have friends & uni in the area that I love being close to. About the house: 1940s weatherboard, vinyl floored extravaganza with shower over bath and a HUGE backyard. We have a pet-friendly RE agent/landlord, and for that reason I have a 13yo cat, 5 chickens, 7 frogs and 30,000 bees (give or take). If you had a dog (PLEASE!) or another pet to bring to the mix (no cats, Pickle hates his own kind), I'd love to interview you together and see how we'd all mesh. Because I'm looking for two people, whoever is suitable first will then help determine who the other person is that will complete the house. Only one of the available bedrooms is in the photos (the brown lino with the spaceship feature wall), but I will take photos of the room opposite ASAP. If you're interested, please get in touch so you can come and check the place out. 🤩✨🦄Dan🦄✨🤩
Hi. Starting work at The Mercy Hospital at the start of June. Like most people, I am easy going with a broad array of tolerances except for smokers, ultra-left/right/(insert any other extreme politic) wingers and platted mullets. Will be working and studying so not looking for a frat house. Like most, I have had some fantastic and not so fantastic share house experiences so have a good idea what it takes to make it work. A genuine sense of mutual understanding and respect is the essential. .
Physics student at Melbourne Uni working in hospitality looking for a relaxed place where conversation isn't always expected and a sometimes a simple 'hey, how are you' is fine. I love reading - science fiction is my favourite genre, but anything with pages will keep me happy. Big fan of video games and movies (horror's the way to go with them) too, and can easily spend an afternoon watching pretty much anything. When I'm bored I like to go for long walks, or try to do something creative. Fairly clean by nature, since cleaning and reorganising is my favourite way to procrastinate, but not fussy so long as other people's stuff isn't in the way. Can't say I'm the best at starting conversations but I can still happily talk to people pretty much whenever, and hold my ground on most topics. Got a pretty twisted sense of humour once I've downed a few, which is a great way to kill an evening. I pride myself on being honest and straightforward.
I’m Kathryn, a 26 year old chick from Alabama, USA who loves to explore new places. I’m a yoga teacher who also works in retail. For the last 7 months I’ve been teaching and running a B&B up in Airlie Beach but am very excited to move to Melbourne to put myself in a more challenging teaching and learning environment. I love meeting new people and socializing, but also love and respect the need for others’ (and my own) chill and alone time; I definitely like my quiet nights in with some good ole Netflix! Generally I’m in bed before 11pm and prefer to wake between 6-9am depending on my work schedule. In my spare time I like to walk, hike, read, eat good food, relax in the park and practice yoga. I’ve also got a car so am keen for day or weekend missions with flatmates or new friends! I’m friendly and respectful and always pay my rent on time. I’m clean and tidy, especially with regard to common spaces (although I’m not obsessive).
18 year old girl studying business at RMIT with a stable job working as a swimming instructor. Looking for a sharehouse in the northern suburbs ( ivanhoe, heidelberg, bellfield etc) with some cool housies who are preferably social and uni students too.
Hi, Im Luisa. I am moving back to Melbourne around 15th May18. I work full time in finance and part time as Personal Trainer. My office is located in Abbotsford so, I would like to get something close by. Ive been living in Sydney for the last two years - 1.5 years sharing a property - Currently living with two guys. Probably the best place where I have been in terms of property sharing. I was living in Melb previously but, work gave me a long holiday in Syd and now, I will be back. In terms of the length of the stay, I'm looking for something long term, at least until next March when probably I will be able to move back to my property. I like to keep the common areas clean, no problems on keeping cleaned toilet and kitchen as long as I see the same behaviour from others. I love sports so, I'm into triathlons, gym, ultra marathon and anything that can be sporty. I also enjoy travelling [hiking/snow] and going out with friends which it is a little bit difficult now that I'm a semi-vegan person. I like to talk and laugh, create a good environment at home, I can listen if something is wrong. Also, I like to enjoy a beer/glass of wine but not every night. I also respect privacy. looking for a comfortable room, preferable a large size due to my two bicycles, pretty kind on something ensuite or with own bathroom. In terms of furniture, I don't have any at the moment but, it shouldn't be a big deal if I have to buy something. cheers
My name's Sam, I'm 30 years old, and for the last few years I've lived and worked in Melbourne with my partner, Brylee, however we recently decided to spend some time living apart while she focuses on University and I immerse myself into a new social scene. I like lots of things. I hate very few things. Please ask if interested in specifics. Cheers Sam
I’m friendly and mostly neat & tidy, I’d like to live with housemates who like to share a meal and hang out sometimes. I’m a musician, work as a music teacher, mainly play the cello, so you’ll need to put up with me needing to practice sometimes. I love animals and will be bringing my dog and cat with me, so the place must be pet friendly, they’re both friendly and really easy to live with.
Hello :) I am an Art/English teacher. I have moved back from Brisbane about a month ago..so ideally I would like to move in fairly soon. I have a very sweet, gentle natured, calm and toilet trained poodle by the name of Winston. He is very attached to me so he wouldn't really bother anyone as he is my shadow. He doesn't shed any fur. I am very bubbly, clean and organised person who likes other like minded people. I like the usual things such as; wine and cheese, socialising with friends and sometimes with housemates. But I mainly do my own thing and go out with my friends quite often. So basically between work at 7am-5pm and my social life, I won't be home for more than half of the week. However, I usually take my dog with me, except working hours. This doesn't mean that I will use the house like a hotel either. I just have a very active life :) I would like to share a house with 27+ - 40 year old people (male or female). I would prefer to be in a bigger household as there is more fun to be had in a bigger space. Looking forward to hearing from you! Esin :)
Have been renting in Ringwood for a numbers of years. Relocation required due to sale of property. I need to move by mid April but am hopeful of finding and moving to new accommodation sometime in the near future. I'm independent, reliable and responsible. I love animals and although l don't own a pet l would welcome the opportunity to befriend yours. An intellectually curious person who enjoys learning new things and am happiest when l have a new project of some sort on the go.... classes, courses etc. Enjoy to cook, trying out new recipes etc. and sharing with those around me occasionally. I work full time in Richmond for a well known company in administration, customer service and account management. I live fairly quietly. Don't hold wild parties etc. I don't do drugs and am not interested in living with those who choose to use. Looking forward to finding my next home and meeting those l will share with. Please feel free to shoot me questions if you wish. Cheers, Vicki
Looking to move in with my mate and one other person to help us create a fun dynamic. We both work full time, love being social but also enjoy some down time and being active. Lived in some great share houses and hoping to do it again.

I NEED A HOME URGENTLY HOPE YOU CAN HELP.... LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... LOCATION NOT IMPORTANT. I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 12 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates bathroom and budget. Cheers Peita:)
Hi, my name is Finnlay. I'm looking for somewhere close to the city, easily accessible. I'm moving down from North Queensland to study music at AIM in Melbourne which is located in the CBD. A bit about myself - well I'm a muso. And I'm a bit of a hippy. I play lots of music as well as write and produce my own work. Recently I've been living the free life in camper van in Townsville. I'm very easy going and friendly. Might come across shy at first but underneath I'm just a happy and gentle person. I keep an open mind set when it comes to other people, and other people's lifestyle choices. I do not judge. I do tend to keep to myself most of the time, but I am looking forward to making new friends and developing a social network. When it comes to living with me I show respect just as I would expect to be respected. I clean up after myself and I stay very tidy. I respect the rules and chores/duties and I make it a high priority to pay rent on time. Hoping to move sooner than later. Currently I am still in North Queensland but am very eager to move down and start my new life in Melbourne.
I'm a warm hearted, creative, who has spent the last 17 years living overseas, mainly in Europe. Have just returned to Melbourne (which over all of these years has remained one of my favourite places to live), and am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and making new ones as I prepare for embarking on PhD studies in performance/fine art. The place where I live is important to me - light, spaciousness, and ideally an outside space, or close to parklands/the river, a creek... And clean, though not sterile. I love to cook and share meals with friends/housemates, but also appreciate quiet time and allowing the people I'm around to have their own space - I think I'm pretty sensitive to others. General feedback is that I'm a happy person to be around. My dream home includes a studio space!
Hi all! I'm 26 and moving to Melbourne middle of April from New Zealand! I'll be working as a social worker at the Austin Hospital but ideally want to live in either Fitzroy/Clifton Hill/Collingwood/Northcote or nearby and train to work. I'm easy-going, social, enjoy a glass of wine, playing netball, cooking etc. Fully house-trained and clean. Feel free to contact me for any more info 🙂
Hi far away friends, My name is Spencer and I'm a Canadian uni student (21 years old) who will be working at the University of Melbourne from mid-may to mid-august. For those who are interested, I'll be doing some medical technology work in the department of physics (I study biomedical computing in Canada). I'm super stoked to visit Aus, but at the moment I'll be living on the streets. I'm a very active guy who has played all kinds of sports (hockey, snowboarding, soccer, lacrosse, swimming you name it!), who will be looking to spend his time in the southern hemisphere supplementing his work at the university with outdoor activities and fun things. I also enjoy cooking, wine, and of course, beer :) I'm looking to live as close to the University of Melbourne as possible, but can be easily persuaded to live a bit further if you play your cards right. I'd like to live in a house/flat with other uni students or folks in their twenties, but I'm not too picky if the fit seems good. Feel free to ask any question! Also I can bring maple syrup.
