Hi! I'm a chef from adelaide moving to melbourne for work. I will be working alot therefore not home all the time. I'm fairly neat and love to be in the kitchen. I like pets, being social with potential housemates.
Looking for a mature age person /couple (over 30 yrs) who is independent but happy to share at times. I'd prefer to live with someone who works fulltime, who is independent, but also happy to relax and chat over a meal or a cuppa from time to time. I'm easy going and very used to sharing with people of all ages. Beautiful architecturally designed 2 bedroom/3 living space house in Alphington. The room for rent has its own bathroom, is furnished with lots of cupboard space. The house is modern and open plan, with lots of northern light. Lovely courtyard garden with veg garden and bbq. Easy 3 min walk to shops/cafe, train and bus. 15min to city, 5 min drive to High St Northcote, cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs. Local cafe and Darebin parklands around the corner. The room is available now although I am flexible with the move date.
This modern townhouse is a quick 10 minute walk to the train station, station street and fairfield boathouse. There is heaps of tracks for walking/running and riding. It is a quiet area with quick access to the eastern freeway so nothing is too far away. There is plenty of car spots surrounding the house but also a garage if needed, fast internet (additional to rent) and the house is fully furnished (except for room up for rent)
I'm a 35 years old spanish guy. I'm a postdoctoral researcher (sociologist) of the University of the Basque Country and on May I'll start a research stay at the RMIT. Never been in Australia before and I would love to know as much as I can about the country and Melbourne. Generally I am cheerful, talkative and curious. Quite sociable, a little bit unpunctual but committed. And I would say that hard worker. In recent years I have noticed that I am a little maniac with things like order and cleanliness. I am a smoker, but I respect and fulfil the rules that are assigned to me in this regard. I enjoy a lot cooking and eating, swimming, and riding bike. Love reading, music and concerts too. Compared with those of my generation I have not travelled much but I have lived with many different people. I would say that I'm used to share and being flexible.
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT in the city. In my spare time I like to watch movies, explore Melbourne, go to the beach, see a live gig or catch up with mates. I'm also beginning to explore the world of health & fitness. I am financially secure, clean up after myself and respect other people's privacy and personal space. Ideally, I am looking to share a 2bdr apartment with one other adult roughly my own age somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute reasonable. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
Very relaxed guy, studies Science at Melbourne uni and home-brews a new batch of beer each month. Listens to great tunes and has a good stereo system which I'll bring with me. Each weekend I'm usually out pub crawling in the city, but sometimes I prefer chilling at home with mates listening to tunes and downing bevs.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hi there, My name's Suzie, I work full time in marketing. In my spare time I like to catch up with friends, do a bit of sewing or catch up on some reading. I'm looking for a relaxed share house with independent housemates who have their own lives but are still up for a glass of wine or dinner when we're all around. Hit me up if you think you've got a spot for me! Cheers, Suzie
I'm a very easy going person, I work full time on a fortnightly shift of either 8-4 or 10-6, either way I'm usually not home much during the week and out most weekends. I like to keep shared areas clean and noise down on work nights but up for anything on the weekends. I'm very flexible and don't mind socialising or keeping to myself in the evenings.
Heyaa! My name is Shweta and I have been living in Melbourne for almost 3 years now! I am looking for a share house/apartment to move in. Location isn't too much of an issue as long as there is public transport near by into the city. I have recently graduated from a Master's degree and working part time (weekends as well). I absolutely love to chat, binge watch television shows and enjoy coffee!
I am a very wise, mature and tidy person who likes to keep to herself as well as enjoy a nice cup of tea with her roommates. I'm an artist, I am currently enrolled to study in one of Melbourne's top tafes Melbourne Polytechnic, studying Visual Arts. I am on my way with an apprenticeship working in tattoo artistry and offers in busy cafes in South Melbourne. I love old movies, listening to my favourite vinyls, reading books and of course, creating millions of artworks. I am a VERY tidy person, I will not leave a room without cleaning up after myself! Cleanliness is key. I am looking to move to Melbourne around end of June for my studies and to move to my dream home, Melbourne is where I'm meant to be, the city of Art. I hope to find my future roomies who are just as tidy as me, friendly but overall just people I can feel at home with. Feel free to message me and we can arrange times and dates. Thank you, Tanielle :)
I'm an pretty neat, quiet Australian guy studying engineering on-line. I have a degree in applied science (chem), and experience as an electronics tech, and with computers, and can be a bit handy around the house. I enjoy a glass of wine, a chat, video/board/card games computer programming, and maybe a little bit of gardening. (Yes, I'm a bit of a nerd.) I'm fine with pets. Quitting smoking, smoking outside in the mean time. - Sam
hi, I think I'm a pretty easy going housemate. I'm happy to socialise but can also keep to myself a bit where that suits. I'm not a big party person but happy to have a friend over once in a while. I'm mature, pay the rent reliably and try to be clean and tidy. I love swimming, in summer I'll often spend a day at the beach.
My name is David. I'm a 23 year old medical student placed at the Austin looking for a place to call home. I love to cook, and am a big fan of team dinners but also happily do my own thing. I'm an keen surfer and rock climber and generally go adventuring over the weekends. I've lived in Northcote over the last couple of years but I'm looking for something a little closer to the hospital. I'm clean, quite and understand the finer points of share-housing as I moved to Melbourne at 18 and have had lots of practice.
I am a respectful considerate easy to get along with person. I like to keep my place clean and I'm very houseproud. I like a little bit of socialising with my housemate but I do also like my space. And I am not a party person. I work for VicRoads where I have been working for the past 7 years. I do work part time, however it is permanent, Monday to Friday, 6 hours a day. I am a very honest person where what you see of me is what you get. I also have a very good sense of humour and love a laugh.
I'm looking for a comfy place with friendly people. I'm easy to be around and enjoy coffee drinking, being outdoors, yoga and having interesting conversations with my house mates. I work in the city and enjoy coming home to relax.
Hi, I'm a 32yo professional that has recently re-established myself in Melbourne after spending 10 years in Western Australia. I'm looking to move from my existing share house to something with a bit more room and in a much quieter street. Generally looking in the north and west within a 30 PT or bike ride of the CBD. I work a regular 8-5 job with very occasional field work away. I've spent the majority of the past 15 years in share houses and as such I come to you as a clean, tidy and respectful housemate whom contributes to household chores. I enjoy sharing a meal and socialising with the household, but am also busy and happy to do my own thing. My weeknights are generally pretty quiet, but I tend to plan quite a few hiking/camping/skiing/family trip for the weekends. I also love travel, dancing salsa and sitting on the front porch with a wine. I'm looking for a small household with not more than 1-2 other people. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to meet up and chat! Thanks for stopping by my profile.
Hi I'm Johnny, I'm a strategy manager at a digital agency for work. Some weeknights I attend classes or go for a swim and others I like to wind down with a cup of tea and a chat or netflix binge together. Weekends I'm equally comfortable doing home-body stuff or getting out and exploring!
Hi, my name is Johan and I'm looking for a cozy place. I'm from Colombia and I'm 23. I'm clean, tidy and considerate with other flatmates/roommates. Don't hesitate to contact with me. Thanks for your attention.
Hey guys I'm Andrew, 23, and currently studying Comm Design/Business and working in retail. Pretty laid-back kinda guy, with most of my time spent either studying or working, but do love going out for the occasional drink/boogie with mates or just staying at home endlessly watching Netflix comedy specials. Other exciting interests include cooking (am veg so basically just add truffle oil to everything and it comes out pretty decent; just waiting for the day that stroke takes me down), reading, travelling and music. I've lived in share-housing previously so am respectful of any and all living expectations you may have! I've also been living by myself for the past couple of years so I'm pretty used to cleaning/tiding up on a regular basis. I'm only at uni once or twice a week but then usually work the remaining days or catch up with mates so wouldn't be home a whole lot during the day, except when I have folios due, then I will transform into an unidentifiable land mammal that lives solely off of grain waves and vino, its genuinely fascinating how I survive through it. I'm not too fussed about the people I'd be living with, besides the usual trustworthy and reliable qualities anyone would want! Being hilarious is a bonus but even just the occasional good tv quote will be sufficient (if its from Veep then there's soul mate potential right there). Pretty terrible with these descriptions so feel free to message if you've got any other questions !
