I'm a very friendly and uncomplicated individual. I like it clean and prefer a calm and respectful relationship with other roommates. I have a periodical income and pay my rent punctual. To pay my rent is always my first priority. Back in Germany I was a Property Manager and Real Estate Agent. If you need help with bills or with your rent, I could probably help a lot. Because of that background, I try to avoid trouble with the landlord. Anyway I'm uncomplicated and solvent. I don't smoke, have no children and no pets but have no problems with people, who have those things or who smokes. I like to help and to share my stories with new friendly people. However, it would be nice, if i meet new people. Maybe we become new friends. If that is the case, you will be always welcomed in Berlin, Germany.
Looking for a mature age person /couple (over 30 yrs) who is independent but happy to share at times. I would prefer to live with someone who is working fulltime and who also has an active life outside of the home. I love good food and homegrown veg. Beautiful, architecturally designed 2 bedroom/3 living space house in Alphington. The room for rent has its own bathroom, is furnished with lots of cupboard space. The house is modern and open plan, with lots of northern light. Lovely courtyard garden with veg garden and bbq. You'd be sharing with me and Rufus the staffie, and we are both warm, open and friendly. I love good food, films, music and am both sociable and independent. I'm often away for a few days at a time down the coast, so the house would be all yours at these times. Easy 3 min walk to shops/cafe, train and bus. 15min to city, 5 min drive to High St Northcote, cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs. Local cafe and Darebin parklands around the corner. The room is available around mid April, although I am flexible with the move date. I'm in my 50's, small business owner and work from home. Mostly I like to be independent with food and cooking, but love to share a meal and a chat from time to time.
Hi I'm Matilda :) I'm currently a first year nursing student at the Australian Catholic University. I'm super friendly, clean and tidy. I'm looking for a place closer to uni because travelling an hour and a half (one way) to uni everyday just isn't viable. I'm super easy going and like to keep to myself at times but I also enjoy socializing... I love to read and stay active (think running, yoga, Pilates)
Hello! My name is Meg, I'm a registered nurse and I work full time shift work. I'm currently living in a share house in Hawthorn and I have previously lived in Clifton hill so I have lots of experience living communally. I'm a friendly gal, pretty chill and like living in a clean environment. I'm looking to live with like-minded people who enjoy sharing the occasional meal, going out for brunch or a glass of vino. In my spare time I enjoy checking out art exhibitions, going to music festivals, gigs, yoga and travelling. I'm a very social girl however I'm not looking for a party house. If I sound like someone you might like to live with, let me know.
Weekdays: 9-5 work at Swinburne as a learning technologist. Some evenings I'll go to dance class or catch up with friends over a dinner/wine. Weekends: Getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. I like cooking a lot, and I take my kitchenware very seriously. I am in a furnished house at the moment so I won't bring furniture but I will contribute some nice kitchen knives and other kitchen items. My wishlist for a house includes tidy and genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. I hold my weight around the house in cleaning, purchasing shared items like toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. My move in date is flexible, but If I get on the lease now, I may stay only for a night or two for the first few weeks.
I'm a clean house proud guy who is looking for a room in a shared house. I work in the hospitality industry. I'm friendly, open and honest, able to cook and clean up. I'd like to be part of the household. Enjoy watching movies, listening to music, beach, second hand shopping, cafes.
I've lived in share houses for 5 years, and am respectful of people and the house. I love a good chat but also love chilling in my room. I work full time in marketing during the week and also at the footy on the weekends, go Hawks! I love weekend brunches and Pub Trivia! However my music taste is awful, as a Swiftie, Taylor is kween, but I won't subject you to it, i swear! Keen to create a home with my housemates, not just a shared space.
Hi, how are you? I am a 22 year old professional looking to start making a life for myself close to the city. My ideal home is inviting, tidy and happy. I love swimming, photography, and a cup of tea or wine with a friend. I am ideally looking for somewhere to live with someone who becomes a friend, but also respects personal space. I also come with the world's best guacamole recipe. If I sound like someone you could live with please send me a messge, I love meeting new people! Have a great day, Emily
Rohan is 36, studies horticulture, works part time as an accountant and plays a bit of music (bass and drums, but it doesn't have to be in the house if that disturbs the housemates). He enjoys growing veggies and has a contagious laugh 🙂 Agnese is also 36, from Italy. She just completed a PhD in Italian linguistics, currently teaching at Melbourne uni and La Trobe and doing some research work. Loves to cook and feed people. We recently got an ice-cream maker!! Lots of fresh seasonal fruit is turning into yummy gelato with no added sugar these days! Happy to share. Our common passions include camping, bike riding, bush walking, cooking amazing healthy meals from scratch with home grown ingredients! We are both financially secure, clean, tidy and quite experienced in share houses. Respectful, collaborative and good communicators.
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
After travelling Europe for a couple of months, I'm now in need of a new home. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, so I'm happy with both temporary and longer-term homes. I'm sure I'll be in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months, probably longer, so I'm happy to sign a lease and such. I've been living in share houses for many years, so I'm well house trained, clean, respectful, chill and all that jazz! I'm available to move in anytime. A bit about me: I'm 24; I have a love of animals; my favourite meals are brunch, pre-dinner snack and dessert; I enjoy nature and sitting in parks; I've been working full time at a ski store for what feels like forever (but I enjoy it); I try to always look at the positive and/or funny side of life; my hair colour/style changes frequently (currently pink); I just started attending aerial circus classes for fun/fitness and love it; I enjoy going to musicals; I rely on public transport to get around; and I'm currently coming out of a 6 year obsession with Hi-5 (the kids band) that basically consumed my life. I will also provide daily smiles.
I'm 30 yr old female working full time in healthcare and am looking to move into a sharehouse. I love to travel and try to go somewhere every year. When I'm not at work I try and keep active and come winter time I spend most of my days off at the snow. I've lived in sharehouses before and can keep a clean and happy house . I enjoy hanging out with housemates but appricate the need for downtime too.
Professional female working in communications and marketing, looking to share a nice place with other females or a mixture of genders. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of people, and not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need a larger room rather than a smaller. Possibly 4m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet. About $215- $250 is my ideal rent, (excluding bills).
Welcoming 3 bedroom townhouse within a complex only a couple of minutes walk to Yarra river. Large living area, big kitchen and bathroom with bedrooms all upstairs (vacant room unfurnished). Located just near Eastern Freeway and 10 minute walk to nearby train stations, great location
I’m Zahlya, 32 and looking for a new home. A few things about me…I like gardening, yoga, great conversation, diversity, nature and going on adventures in my van and abroad. For work, I’m currently doing online admin (for various community events) and substitute teaching in an awesome high school. It's full time hours, but my schedule varies a little week to week. I am wanting to share a home with grounded, life-affirming, open-minded people, who enjoy friendly good times. I appreciate tidy and vibrant shared spaces, sharing a delicious home-cooked meal occasionally, and considerate co-habiting. I’m really wanting to find something aesthetically pleasing and energetically nurturing - a happy home that feels stable, relaxed and functional. I am passionate about travel, healthy eating, writing, dance, love, meaningful friendship, being kind to the environment and genuine connection. I’m big on self-development, but I strive to get out of my head and not to take myself too seriously. Hope to hear back from you 🙂
Hi, I'm Nate, quiet and tidy, can cook and bake, like to play board games and the keyboard (but don't worry, I can plug in headphones and only I have to listen to myself play)
I'm Ohad from Israel, 24 years old and in Melbourne for 7 months now. I like the city and I like Australia and I'm looking for a location that'll be close enough to my work place. I'm nice, organized and respectfull person that enjoy the life here and my time in Australia. I like to go out, do some sports(prefer soccer and surfing) and good laughs.
I am very social and love getting to know people, but I do like to have my own quiet down time which is when I usually find time to sit in a park or just hideout in my room. I am not a crazy party animal but I am constantly on the go! Aside from catching up with friends and trying out new food places, I love travelling and cooking. I am clean, responsible and respectful and have previous housemates and landlords who will attest to this! I am organised and caring individual who is full of positive energy. Currently, I am a hospitality professional and juggle that with part time dance school. I am looking for friendly and caring housemates who are respectful of people and things. People who also take pride in where they live and keep it clean and tidy.
My name's Maddy and I'm in my 24th year of life! I am studying a Bachelor of Music (part-time) where I have one unit left, and then I become a full-blown adult...! I sing and play a little bit of guitar, I'm in a jazz swing band, and am currently in the process of creating a magazine. I read, write, draw on occasion, and have a modest vinyl collection I like to dance to sometimes (which you are most welcome to join in). I'm rather quiet and like to do my own thing, but I'm always up for a good chat and love to share meals and such. I'm open-minded, easy-going, and am passionate about animal rights and the environment. I also love plants, so if you have them around then that's pretty cool. If not, I'll bring a couple! I cook, clean up after myself, and respect other people's space and need of quiet. Thanks for taking the time to read this tiny synopsis, I hope it's given you some insight into who I am. - Maddy
This modern townhouse is located exceptionally as it is a quick 10 minute walk to the train station, station street and fairfield boathouse. There is many excellent tracks for walking/running and even riding. It is a quiet area with quick access to the eastern freeway so nothing is too far away. There is plenty of car spots surrounding the house, fast internet (additional to rent) and the house is fully furnished (except for room up for rent)
