25 years old french girl, I am looking to stay a while in Melbourne. I will be working in a small brewery based in Alphington (La Sirene)! Now for the description time here are random words about me: Chatting, singning, dancing, drawing, piano, sports, beer, food engineering, travelling, jokes, volunteering, social, rick & morty, back to the future, stars, friends, events Done ! (: Cheers !
This home has great natural light, big yard for relaxing in, polished timber floorboards but most of all, the location is awesome - short walk to two different train stations, 30 minute bike ride to the city, short walk to cafes, and Darebin parklands. This is an awesome part of inner Melbourne. 290 is the cost for a couple, or it'd be 220 for a single person. Feel free to get in touch with any queries. Looking forward to meeting you :)
Have my own place which I rent out. Pay bills & rent on time Am reliable , good around the house and overall like to keep busy but have my own interests too. Have the means too to start up a place (new) with another likeminded individual so I could be looking to explore other options. ? Obviously looking for a good fit but happy to work toward that as a goal if the situation calls for it. ....... for now I'd be happy to live in a house where we'd have a normal lounge and dining. Not just looking for a roof over my head as I already have that,. but a home I can be part of & contribute to. Strictly no druggies / druggos , whatever else you want to call them, no smoking house,. and no binge drinking household either, being either social or otherwise. If you're kind , considerate & dont take yourself too serious we'll get along fine. We 're all on a journey & getting there is only half the fun. If I can a place that includes utilities in the cost of rent that'd be great? ! . Happy to pay a bit more for the right place though. Open too to other areas! Have a car so I need a place for it , even if its on the street. My motto for life is ....live , laugh , love! Thanks for reading. John, Stas
Hi! My name is Mitch, I am a 29yo Radiographer looking to move into the Northern suburbs as I have accepted a full-time position at The Northern Hospital (starting mid March) in their MRI/ CT team. I am very easy-going and sociable but I am also mature and respectful of other people’s personal space. I am clean and tidy and I am well accustomed to proper share house etiquette. I enjoy board games, cooking and I live an active life, I am a keen cyclist. I have a 4yo Greyhound named Jerry and I would be happy to pay extra bond if this would mean you would consider Jerry as a house mate. He is more like a cat as he sleeps 18hrs a day (not an exaggeration). He is house trained, obedient and trained not to go on furniture. He does not bark, I have only heard two single barks from Jerry in the two years I have owned him and I can provide references from past housemates and neighbours confirming all of this. I would also be happy to sign a pet clause or any other document required. If you think I Jerry and I might be a suitable fit into your household please do not hesitate to contact me. Mitch
I'm a communicative, tidy person who enjoys quiet time at home. I like to cook (vegetarian), read and tend to my indoor plants. I work part-time as a Early Childhood Educator and study Gender Studies and Sociology part-time.
Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a full time Maths teacher. I currently live on my own but it kills me how expensive rent is so I’d like to find one or two people who want to live in a share house. I’m extremely neat and very quiet (but not in a weird way), love sitting on the couch watching Netflix and cooking vegan food. I’m a pretty chill person in general. I have pretty much everything needed to fill out a house: couch, TV, PS4, Apple TV, fridge, washer, dryer, KitchenAid etc and am happy to bring these with me and share. I also try to live quite minimally and I’m really into trying to reduce my waste and recycling/composting. I don’t drink or smoke and don’t live with any pets.
I'm super easy going and relaxed and love cooking food. I try to eat vegan when I can but i'm not hardcore about it. I work as the head barista at a cafe in Northcote and am a huge coffee nerd. I love whipping up a delicious coffee for my housemates and guests! When i'm not working I like to read, look after my little plant children and play Jazz piano as a hobby (I also do a bit of DJing as well) - I have a really nice, expensive sound system and love sharing and listening to music with others - but am also respectful of a shared space and volume levels (Headphones!!). I like to keep to myself and work on my music half the time, but never say no to a drink and love doing dinners, Hoping to find people I can be friends with and socialise over drinks, share music with and also cook great food - while also having some time to myself to work on my hobbies.
Hi I’m Nada, I work full time in the Arts, I’m easy going, down to earth, love a chat over a cuppa but understand the importance of downtime. I’m respectful, responsible and clean. I enjoy going to the theatre, gigs and hanging out with mates ... particularly my best mate, Nugget! Nugget is a happy little legend. She’s a well house/yard trained staffy and she’s not shy when it comes to cuddles! :)
Hey there potential housemates we have a lovely room available in our share house that is looking for the perfect couple to move in. We live in a marvellous old victorian-eqse style house with great big high ceilings and dense walls so that it often hard to tell if anyone else is home. The room available is a large couple designed room with a wardrobe and ensuite on the first floor where as the other three housemates are on the second level. We are ideally looking for a couple but if your interested in the room we would still be happy to meet. Plus we live in a suburban area right near Fairfield Train Station so we have easy access to the city and the house plus neighbourhood is very cat/pet friendly. The room is $1137 per month to be paid on the 5th of each month, bills are usually $20-$40 dollars each split with unlimited internet.
Hi I'm Justin, I am quiet, clean, and super easy going and fit in with all age groups and lifestyles, I am an independent type often preferring my own company but will enjoy a catch up and maybe a drink from time to time. Being a student and constantly studying I am respectful of others and their spaces and require the same. I mostly work evening and weekend shifts around uni so often won't been seen too much around meal times etc. so prefer to do my own cooking and shopping etc. When having a bit of downtime (not very often) I like to head out to cafe's and markets or just chill and binge Netflix. ... oh and sorry but I am not veg or vegan. I do love pets and happy to have them around but will not be bringing any of my own. I am a Psych honours student at ISN Psychology Heidelberg, working at Brunswick East. I usually keep quite busy and if I'm not working I'll be studying so will generally keep to myself. I may also look to extend my stay for semester 2. Please feel free to contact me if you're looking for a similar living arrangement, I would prefer to share a smaller place with only 1-2 others but will consider all options.
Hi, My name is Reece. I'm a 31 year old student that works part time (20/30 hrs pw) and am currently looking for a room in a share house for myself and my dog Earl. I'm respectful, clean, easygoing but dedicated. I take pride in keeping a comfortable and tidy house and doing my part. I'd love to live in a place with a respectful and positive dynamic between the housemates. I'm interested in arts, film, music, literature, politics, history, philosophy, cooking, AFL and nature. I mainly work weekends and spend my weeks taking my dog on adventures and getting out and about when I'm not studying. Earl is a 4 year old Grey Hound x Husky. He's impeccably house trained and well mannered. Does not really bark, nor chew or dig. He's an absolute chiller and seems to enjoy spending most his time lazing on the couch having a cuddle when he is not out on adventures with me. He could be described as a giant kitty with alot of personality. Currently he is with me only part time, and stays with a friend over the weekends whilst I work. Rarely do I leave him home alone and never for longer and an hour or two. A little shy at first, once he gets to know you he is loving, loyal, funny and big sook.
I'm a 29 year old Interior Design graduate making the move from Sydney to Melbourne. I'm hella excited to carve a new career in a design capital! More about me; I love to cook and I sing terribly in the shower free of charge. I also enjoy the occasional boogie and a night on the town. I'm looking for a clean and laid back urban oasis with a cool crew of people who respect personal space but also get together for dinner nights and activities; I am new to the city so I'm definitely down to socialise. I would prefer an environmentally conscious household.
Im new to Melbourne, here on a working holiday visa. I’m a very easy going guy. Happy to socialise but also happy to keep myself to myself, very adaptable to whoever I live with. I have a few friends living in the city already so will spend a lot of time with them but as I said if the vibe of the house is to socialise at home I’m also happy to do that. I am working at AIA in the city on a Monday-Friday 9-5 basis. I’m very clean and respectful of those I live with. Let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing from you.
I teach Yoga and creative workshops and work for a not for Profit. My hours vary and I teach yoga most evenings although my day job will be changing in 2019 so I expect to be working more 9-5 and dropping yoga down to just one evening and one weekend day per week. I also teach creative workshops 1-2 times a month. I try to stay healthy, love yoga and meditation and music - I try to get out to live music when I can. I'm a bit of a home body when I'm working and enjoy being social when I have free days. I love food and consider myself a good cook (mostly vegetarian with occasional seafood), enjoy the occasional wine and a good film or Netflix series, but am not into TV and don't own one. I'm into clean living, reducing my footprint (recycling, reusing reducing waste etc) and minimal plastic. I'm looking to share with 1-3 others and to make a home rather than a hostel / party house vibe - where we can have a chat, hang out when we want but also live our independent lives. Home to me is a sanctuary so its important to get along with my house mates, and have a nice chill vibe. With regards to food I'm easy, don't mind sharing food, also happy to buy my own, I have a fridge, washing machine and lots of house plants and some furniture which I can bring or store. I also have Meikel, an awesome friendly cat that can sit and high five. She's an indoor/outdoor cat and comes and goes as she pleases, although if someone's home she'll usually hang in the same room as you as she likes being social (she's like a dog in that sense - she's a dog-cat). She doesn't have a litter tray as she's house trained and goes outside in nature, but moving into a new place I'd keep her indoors with a litter tray for the first week so she gets used to the place.
Our home is located in (North) Alphington, a suburb of Melbourne 7km north east of the city centre. It is a quiet and leafy green residential suburb composed mostly of families. It is bordered by the Darebin Creek to the east and the Yarra River to the south. One of its best features is that it contains a number of beautiful bush reserves and parks. We are a 5-minute walk to Darebin Parklands. Our home was built 6 years ago and has every modern feature. It has 3 bedrooms, each with mirrored built-in robes and a private balcony, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a study area, an open plan living area, a separate small living area, a large kitchen with a double oven, dishwasher and walk-in pantry, a laundry, a double garage and a small rear garden with a private gate that leads directly onto Pitcher Park which includes a football, cricket ground and netball and basketball court. It has hydronic heating throughout, a split system heating/cooling system downstairs in the open plan living area and air conditioning upstairs. It is a light filled home and we are a relatively quiet household. The room available is 3.3 by 3.05 metres in size and fully furnished (king single bed, side drawers and lamp). It faces east and over looks Pitcher Park. We like to keep the house clean and tidy and do so on a regular basis. We are 800 metres or a 10 to 15 minute walk to Alphington train station (Hurstbridge line) and a few hundred metres from two bus services (routes 350 to La Trobe University and 508 to Moonee Ponds).

I'm Louie, a 25 year old teaching student and outdoor educator, pronouns he/him or they/them. I'm looking for a place to live long term in the north of melbourne. Things I value in a house: - environmental awareness/desire to live sustainably - a social space that still allows me to commit time to my study and work - clean spaces, but not necessarily tidy/minimalist/clutter free ones - people who contribute to a home the best they can, but that also commit to other parts of their lives, and a mutual respect between housemates about this Things I like to do when at home: - read books/write poems - garden, particularly growing food - cook/bake for people - play the guitar badly (i'm learning), but sing along adequately - do something social with the house (movie night/dinner/cards and chats, cups of tea) Things I've done over the past 12 months (a bit about me): - lived and worked on a permaculture farm/outdoor ed centre for young people, called Mittagundi - visited Tasmania over summer to go rock climbing, hiking, and whitewater rafting - worked in outdoor education, school camps, and outdoor tourism - skiied a lot at Falls Creek and Mt Stirling - worked on my Master of Teaching degree
