Hi, I'm Louise. I'm a 33yo lawyer and work in law. I recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I like travelling, exploring Melbourne, watching arthouse films and checking out the different cuisines Melbourne has to offer. I'm looking for a place that clean, and tidy and feels like a home.
I Live in South Gippsland and am studying Silversmithing and jewellery design at Melbourne Polytechnic so will need accommodation 3 days a week and occasional other days when I pick up work. I am in my 50s and making a happy creative life change from a long career in production work in the performing arts. I have a lovely partner and a sweet but active Kelpie who may want to come and visit occasionally. I cook a delicious rhubarb stew and eggplant parma!
Relatively clean and quiet single looking for a place closer to work (in Camberwell). I work full time and my passion is drinking red wine and watching terrible reality TV.
The upstairs bedroom in this modern 2-storey townhouse in Alphington is for rent! The place is already furnished so you only need to consider your own bedroom furniture and you will have your own bathroom. Bedroom and lounge includes a split-system for those hot (and cold!) Melbourne days. Alphington's a beautiful suburb. The townhouse is located within walking distance to the Fairfield shops, the Fairfield boathouse and close to both Alphington and Fairfield train stations. It's only about 18 minutes on the train to the city. I'm looking for a non-smoker who is working full-time, is independent and happy to do their own thing but is also friendly and sociable. Likes a clean and tidy household. I'm not one for cleaning schedules as I take the initiative to clean as I go or just when it needs to be done and I'm looking for someone like-minded. I'm happy to share a meal on occasion and overall this is a really nice space to relax and unwind after a long day at work. The bills will be spilt evenly between the two of us. The photos are from the real estate so please note that the actual furnishings are different :) No couples or work-from-homers please (sorry).
Recently moved back home after living in darwin for 11 years. I've started a new job that I will be working away with at times, potentially wks on end. Still actively involved playing footy and cricket throughout the year so live a busy lifestyle
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time in construction 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after myself and happy to help keep the house clean. Any question, ask away
I’m a social, yet hard working individual. I’m tidy, I clean and cook often. I work full time as a trainee train driver with V/Line, so my roster is a bit crazy at times with early or late starts, but I try and be considerate with being quiet while getting ready quite early or coming home a bit late. I love biking, hiking, and exploring both Melbourne and regional Victoria. I would love to live at a place with a dog where I could help out with walks and dog parks as needed. I love my occasional beer or red wine with dinner and always up for a good chat.
Hi there! My name is Julius and I'm looking for a new place to live, preferably in the inner-city suburbs. I have a stable full-time job in the CBD and have worked there for almost 2 years. I’m currently living in a share house and have been for 3 years but am now looking for a place closer to work. I'm friendly, tidy and easy to live with. Am not a party animal but enjoy the casual dinner and drink or 3. If you think I'm suitable please get in touch!
Hi, I'm Giuliana, looking for a longer-term place to call home in a sharehouse with another 2 or more people. About me: During the week I work 8.30-5, 4 days per week at a university library, and spend 2-3 nights a week at yoga. Aside from yoga, I love hiking, camping and nature connection, travel, cooking (and eating!), motorbike riding, spending quality time with friends and family, veggie and herb gardening; so would love a place with a decent sized backyard with a veggie garden, or the space for one as well as for composting; all the better if there are housemates who'd like to share in this as it's more fun that way, plus I have a lot more to learn! Who I am and what I’m seeking: I'm a thoughtful, open-minded, respectful, grounded, tidy, sustainability-focused person looking to share with other gentle, caring people with similar values; and amongst all of that sharing a healthy dose of humour is most welcome. I'm looking for a longer-term share house (which is why I’ve written so much!) so it's important to me to find a place with people where we can create a healthy household dynamic; which can only really come through clarity in communication. While this can be difficult at times and we’re all learning, it’s super important for me and the people I share with to be willing to try to communicate openly, gently and respectfully to the best of our abilities. I have a fulfilling social life, however I'd really like to live with others who are more than just people I live in the same house with; I'd like to share communal meals and chats regularly. However I also need alone time, and am respectful of other people’s need for that also. I'm currently used to preparing my own meals and composting, but am very open and welcoming to communal living and food sharing. I'm not vegetarian or vegan, but I rarely eat meat and I've happily lived with vegans and vegetarians before. About the house: In terms of the house itself, some things I’d really like (though not essential, unless there’s none of them) are: - Gas stove top (for cooking! Electric or induction are a bit limiting) - Undercover parking for my motorbike (I have a cover for it, but much easier to just park under something) - A backyard that gets some sunlight and has, or has space to grow herbs and veggies (even if it’s just concrete that you can put plant pots on) - An older house with character, with larger rooms and more natural light (I’m not a big fan of those townhouses going up all over the place) - I’m particularly interested in moving to Thornbury, Preston, Fairfield, Northcote, North Fitzroy (not necessarily in that order), but surrounding suburbs like Ivanhoe, Alphington, Brunswick East and Coburg may also be suitable. I have a mish-mash of furniture including a fridge (oldish), and a washing machine (newish). I'm willing to shed what's not needed though as most of it I've collected along the way from family and friends. I have some lovely indoor plants which I'd love to share with my new housemates as some of them are little big for the bedroom! I don’t have a particular date I need to be out of my current place by, but I’d ideally like to have at least 2-3 weeks notice so my existing housemate has a chance to find a new sharer also. Would love to hear from you if you think I'd suit your share home.
Hello, I am looking to rent a room from the end of December onwards (preferably long term). I work full time as a Team Leader at an inner city Council. I grew up in a small country town and moved to Melbourne about 2 years ago. I am respectful and always pay rent and bills on time. As I work full time, I have a pretty busy schedule. I am usually away or have something on on the weekends. Happy to live with either male or female. I am quite open with the location - anywhere safe and suitable in a reasonable distance to the city preferred. 😊

A stones throw away from the Yarra with massive communal areas and a courtyard, this is a great place to call home! Bills and unlimited internet are divided equally between the housemates as is the general maintenance of the house :) The room is a massive with heaps of natural light. White walls and charcoal carpet provide a blank canvas to really make the room your own! There is a full length mirror and ducted heating, am happy to leave some furniture including 2 x shelving units and a clothes rack if desired.

This spacious three bedroom, two bathroom townhouse is located within walking distance to transport (about a 5min walk to Alphington or Fairfield train station) and to many lovely local cafes (Station street, Fairfield). The unit features a modern kitchen that is currently equipped with all essential appliances and is fully furnished (except the bedroom) and includes two bathrooms, each with a toilet and shower. There is currently 1 room available! Upstairs: This good sized room is located upstairs and contains a heating/cooling split system, walk in robe with plenty of storage storage and access to the upstairs bathroom.
A little bit about myself! Currently completing my Bachelor's Degree in Psychological Sciences @ Deakin University. I walked away from a lucrative career to pursue my passion... fingers crossed it works out for me! I appreciate peace & quiet living, but enjoy occasional dinner parties or gatherings in or out of the shared home. I love spending my free time reading, binge watching movies & TV shows, just chilling & chatting and so on... More than happy to share or split on things we might want to have in the home. Such as maybe.... a ridiculously HUGE 4KHD television + surround sound system! Mmmm.... additional information about myself below. 1. Very clean & tidy. Some say I clean better than 5*Star hotels! (I usually do a top to bottom house clean of my current residence once a week.) 2. I have a car. Happy to share its use! 3. Not really a "party animal" or "wild". Bored of that lifestyle and just a wee bit too old for it. 4. Unsure of what else to include.... perhaps we can get to know more about each other through messaging... to ensure a fit for living under one roof.
Hey there! I'm Laura, currently working in retail and about to start a new lab assistant job. Looking for a room preferably private and close to public transport. Near a train station or the 903 bus ideally but any busses/trams/trains is good Used to sharing, pretty easy to get on with and always do my dishes, wipe crumbs etc lol Keep to myself especially on days/weeks I'm working a lot but friendly and usually happy to chat In spare time I'll just chill, go on random adventures or go eating/drinking/dancing with mates Down for the occasional house get together if it's that sort of place, cool if not as well Can move in anytime from now. Let me know!
I'm a friendly and mature woman who works in the aerospace industry full time. I've returned to Melbourne after spending 7 years working abroad, and I'm seeking share accommodation whilst I settle back in and reestablish social networks. I'm looking for somewhere close to the CBD, with public transport and bike trails, within 20km of CBD. I need somewhere that has car parking - driveway or street. Also an area that is safe and has shops nearby. I'm flexible on move date - sometime between early Sept to late Nov, but put in a date for the system. I'm easygoing, considerate, respectful, clean and tidy, friendly, sociable, and also appreciate quiet time. If you have pets, I love dogs and cats. When not working, I enjoy being active and social, cultural and festive events, and an otherwise happy and healthy lifestyle. Look forward to meeting you! :-)
Im a horrible person, you dont want to live with me. jk Im alright, work full time spend weekends with friends. I play basketball and go to the gym alot. Im a tidy person who likes my own space from time to time but for the most part im really friendly and Im just looking for easy going people to live with.
**I have an older female cat, please don't message me if you're unable to accommodate pets** Hi all, I'm 25 working and studying part-time. I study psychology and work at a software company in the CBD. I'm a social introvert, warm, open-minded and friendly. I love to laugh (I speak fluent sarcasm) and I can have a conversation with pretty much anyone about pretty much anything. :) I’m looking for a house with a backyard and a room large enough to fit more than just a bed. I’d like to live with at least one woman, and with housemates who don’t mind doing their own thing with the occasional communal meal/beer. I'm not really into social media and stopped using it a while ago, so that's why I don't have any linked profiles - still a real person though (last time I checked) Any questions, please feel free to message me.
Hi guys! Me and my pup Winter (the beautiful Dalmatian in my pics) are looking for a house to move into or for other people looking to start up a share house. Currently looking to move between end of November to the beginning of January. The I'm a pretty laid back dude, work 3 days at a childcare centre in Richmond and 2 days nannying for a family in Kew. So yeah I love kids! Weekends are pretty much all about my dog Winter! He's full of beans so I get him out of the house as much as possible. A backyard is essential as he needs space to run around. He is mostly an inside dog.. Just outside when I go to work and obviously can keep him outside whenever I'm not home.. But he loves cuddles and attention. During the week I pretty much just hang out at home, take the dog for walks/to the park and watch TV. Big Game Of Thrones and Harry Potter fan so if you're into those then we'll get along great! I'm a clean person and like to keep things tidy and not cluttered so I'd appreciate the same from potential housemates. Love being social and have a drink (or a few lol) but can also be quiet and keep to myself at times and respect other peoples privacy and space. If you wanna know anything else about me or I've left any important info out please just comment or message me and we'll go from there! Thanks guys!
