*Not looking to move until End of April/Early May* Hi, Im a friendly, social being who likes a tidy house. I've lived in all sorts of share situations - sharing food, going it alone, cleaning as needed and keeping to a strict roster. I'm reliable and organised - hopefully this doesn't mean I'm not fun! I like to think I am and love a good bonding/gossip sesh and a laugh. Like to share teas/wines/beers as they happen and have no problems grabbing washing off the line before rain, watering pot plants when others are away and picking this up from the shops on the way home. I'm an urban planner working for state gov full time, a country girl at heart I'm a fan of a bit of gardening. My current house has chickens which I love and am sad to be leaving. I have a super affectionate cat and an entire house of furniture to contribute (although I'd happily discuss letting some of it go if needed). Looking to move by May 15 either into a great existing sharehouse or start a new one. My location preference is super-free, I'm only in need of a train within 10mins walk or a 1/2 hr easy bike ride to the cbd.
Hi there! After spending last two years travelling in Aussie and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
After travelling Europe for a couple of months, I'm now in need of a new home. I have no idea what I'm doing with my life, so I'm happy with both temporary and longer-term homes. I'm sure I'll be in Melbourne for at least the next 6 months, probably longer, so I'm happy to sign a lease and such. I've been living in share houses for many years, so I'm well house trained, clean, respectful, chill and all that jazz! I'm available to move in anytime. A bit about me: I'm 24; I have a love of animals; my favourite meals are brunch, pre-dinner snack and dessert; I enjoy nature and sitting in parks; I've been working full time at a ski store for what feels like forever (but I enjoy it); I try to always look at the positive and/or funny side of life; my hair colour/style changes frequently (currently pink); I just started attending aerial circus classes for fun/fitness and love it; I rely on public transport to get around; and I'm currently coming out of a 6 year obsession with Hi-5 (the kids band) that basically consumed my life. I will also provide daily smiles.

A little bit about me: I work in HR for a public health provider, I'm originally from the outer east of Melbourne and I equally enjoy staying in for the night or going out for a few frosties I'm easy to live with and a really low maintenance person. Have been living with a couple in Abbotsford for the past year and have loved it, would be more than happy to live with any mix of people though.
Hey everyone! I'm Chad, and I am a male exchange student from Canada studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm going to need a place until the end of June, so please send any possible accommodations my way! More about myself, I am a very easy-going, tidy, and respectful person that loves to meet with other people. Playing, watching, and breathing sports is my passion as well as exploring the nooks and crannies of different cities, like the beautiful city of Melbourne!
I recently moved to Melbourne from Tassie and I'm currently working as a casual exhibition installer, I've also just landed a part time position at JB HiFi. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree - Photography major and I'm also toying with the idea of going back to Uni at some stage. My hobbies/interests include playing guitar, listening to records, playing N64/Wii, Hungry Jacks, occasional weight lifting, going to gigs/concerts, art exhibitions, watching shows/movies aaaaaaaand chilling in my uggs & trackies. I always clean up after myself and actually enjoy doing productive stuff towards house maintenance. I'm a fairly laid back dude and I'm pretty much always down for a bev. I don't smoke, nor do I do drugs and it won't bother me if you do. Also now interested in teaming up, so if you're into art/music and don't vote Liberal hit me up! Anyone questions feel free to ask! Cheers!
We've been living in funky city pads for the last few years, but the time has come...my son is soccer & cricket crazy & needs a backyard. I would love to set up a gorgeous home with a like minded professional. Most of the homes that I like are generally 3/4 bedroom homes hence the need to team up and share. I always loved share houses and am really looking forward to being a house mate again, sharing conversation at the end of the day, a stir fry, a glass of red and a laugh. I love clean, tidy, respectful. (I would ideally like for us to have a cleaner). When my son is with me during the week, it's pretty much dinner & off to bed early for both of us. On the weekends that I have my son we're busy with cricket matches & play dates, we usually hang out & BBQ or go for pizza. When my son is with his Dad I'm out to the movies or dinner with a friend, if I'm not catching up on sleep or having a quiet one in. I work late on Wednesday, Thursday & every second Friday. (My 10 year old son is with me 50% of the time. Monday & Tuesday night & every second weekend.) Let's catch up for a cuppa and see where it takes us. To new friends, BBQ's & dinner parties.
Hello! I'm looking for a base in Melbourne as spend part of my time 1.5 hours out of the city. I work for myself - teaching yoga and am building another new web business, plus doing some part time studies and other TCB things. I have a really good renting track record and it's because my time is divided that I'm keen to share in the city rather than manage another house independently. I keep a healthy lifestyle and home is usually a quiet space for me - although I do love music... I'd do well living with like minded people with similar values and routines - healthy, conscientious creative folk. I'm very easy around the house and happy to keep a house flowing well, clean and tidy! Happy to answer any other qus!
25. I work full time in construction. Clean, friendly and environmentally conscious. Grew up overseas but born here and have lived in Melbourne for the last 15 years. Well travelled, and easy to get along with. I like getting out and trying different things, just started rock climbing (indoor - I'm terrible) but most days I head to the yoga studio before or after work.
im a friendly, hard workin guy. teacher of film stuff, a bit arty, a bit handyman. clean, helpful, happy to share, happy to help keep the place running smooth. i have been a freelance visual effects artist for big films for years. teaching now to stay close to friends and family in melbs. love to get out and hike, camp, kayak. very social. love to share meals, and can cook. happy to sometimes just sit and read. i am separated from a long term relationship, looking to start a new living situation with great people. have a girlfriend in coburg and will stay there at times. i play ukeulele, ( not great ) like to draw, listen to music but respect others need for peace. love to go to festivals like confest. would love to be close enough to work near southern crass station to ride my bike if possible. but can also train, tram or ride my motorbike. looking forward to meeting new people.
My current roomie Hayley and I are looking for 1-2 other people to start a new share house with in the Inner North East! (All to have private rooms) About you: Looking for young people (e.g 23 – 35 years) who have experience in share house living. We want sociable people who are happy to share a glass of wine or cup of tea together when we cross paths however still independent with their own lives and respectful of privacy. It would be nice to have communal dinner together with Netflix or board games occasionally (obviously when time permits/schedules align!). Looking for open-minded individuals who enjoy North side living that keep communal areas clean (At our current place we have a rotating cleaning roster and a house kitty for buying cleaning products- we would be establishing this at the new place too). We aren’t looking to create a “party” house but casual drinks on weekends with friends is fine/ so is the occasional party- we just wouldn’t want you to be throwing raging parties every weekend. We are looking for people that LOVE animals as we have 3 TINY pets (please see description below). About the potential house: We are looking at 3 - 4 bedroom places – 3 bedroom places no higher than $570 total per week and 4 bedroom places no higher than $750 total per week. Splitting the rent would depend on the features of the room (e.g a master bedroom with ensuite would be more). We’re ideally looking for houses (not apartments) as we want a backyard and we would be starting a veggie patch. Also we both have cars so we are looking at places that have ample space for off street/ driveway parking. We have a lot of furniture (e.g fridge, washing machine, lounge, lots of homewares) but there would be room for some of your stuff (if you have any) as we can keep ours in storage if need be. However you would need to supply furniture for your own bedroom. About us: Liv: 26, over 6 years experience in share house living. Runs programs for adults with intellectual disabilities (Mon- Fri) whilst studying a Bachelor of Nutrition (so is very busy!). Animal obsessed, die hard triple J listener that enjoys catching live music and can make a sweet playlist. Clean freak and very house proud. Enjoys food festivals/markets, roof top beverages, a good day trip to explore all of the beautiful walks/parks that Melbourne has to offer! Would probably clash with strong right wings! Hayley: 23, dental nurse, originally from Bendigo. Also loves animals. Hippie that enjoys live music, Netflix binges, online shopping, bush doofs and checking out new bars/cafes in Melbourne! THE PETS; Boo & Ruby are two tiny indoor dogs that you could fit in one handbag however not the type that "yap", both are very quiet and well behaved. They are very clean dogs that attend the dog groomer every 6 weeks. Both are very friendly dogs that love lap cuddles however are well exercised and walked around 5km every day! They win absolutely everyone ever. Dexter is quite a reserved cat who loves dogs but unfortunately is petrified of cats so we are not in a position to take on another cat- sorry :( If you think that we would be people you would get along with, please get in touch! Our move date is flexible- we just need to give 4 weeks notice so wouldn't want to get stuck paying double rent for too long! Cheers :)

Hey! I'm a relaxed 20 y/o guy looking for a short term place to stay until I move into the police academy. I'm working part time at the moment, and when I'm not I'm usually out with friends as much as possible so you'll have the place to yourself! Looking to stay ASAP

What'd up fellow Melbournians ✌. My name is Tom or Thomas whichever you prefer. I've recently moved to the lovely, lively, fun, exciting, restless city of Melbourne in March last year (approx. 11 months ago). I am a graduate of a double in construction management and economics with honours from UNISA (Adelaide) and have recently landed myself a full-time (8am-5pm Mon-Fri) Assistant Project Manager gig in Hawthorn East. I have been living with 2 female housemates in Hawthorn, Victoria for 11 months now. But alas it is time for me to move onto somewhere new. I'm a kind, friendly, sociable, active, out going, easy to get along with, respectful, caring dude who works full time, plays volleyball and likes to ride his fixie whenever possible. I am clean and don't like mess or clutter. I don't smoke but don't mind if you do. I am very hospitable and flexible/considerate of others whenever possible. I am happy to do house dinners if that's your thing. I tend to lead a busy life with F/T work and sporting commitments so cook for myself most nights. I will most likely be out and about from Friday onwards and home during weeknights. I am always good for rent and expenses and have never missed a payment. I am currently paying $210/week, $912/month in rent alone (not including bills, water, gas, electricity etc). And am NOT on the lease or bond authority, so can move quickly (but am more than happy to provide proof of past rent, bond and expenses payments etc). What I'm looking for: - An Unfurnished Room - Budget of around $210/week - Need to move out at the end of March. - **Parking is a must** - Somewhere close to the city and my work (Hawthorn East). - One, two, three or four bedroom houses/apartments or a grannyflat. - I do not require a nice view. - I'm pet friendly and LGBT is fine too. If you have any questions please let me know via PM 😊. Thanks!
My name is Jamine and I am looking for a new long term home. A place that is important to me with flatmates I care about. :) I have been in few share houses since arriving in Melbourne 13 years ago (French-Tunisian originally and now Australian). I am definitely house trained, tidy, respectful and fun with a capacity for deep conversation too. I like getting to know the people I live with. Some of my best friends are ex-flatmates. I enjoy time alone as much as time with others. I live a beautiful life with meditation practice, dancing, working as a psychotherapist, locuming as a social worker, improv theatre, swimming almost everyday and attending some workshops or gigs. I would love to meet you all by coming in for an interview. Jamine :)
I am a pretty laid‐back person and easy to get along with ! I work as a consultant Pharmacist and I do locum work all over Australia sometimes I am away for 2 - 3 weeks and sometimes I am in Melbourne for months . I prefer quiet home but I am a bubbly person . I am neat and tidy and I am looking for a housemate who will be comfortable to have a conversation with but also respect privacy . I am a non smoker but I don't mind sharing with a smoker . I am fine with pets and love dogs I am looking for a furnished room as I do not have furniture and I prefer Brunswick East , Brunswick west , Flemington , Northcote , Preston, Thornbury , Abbostford and surrounding suburbs
Working full time as a print finisher keeps me busy Mon to Fri. Come the weekend I'm either winding down, cooking up a storm or most likely out/away. Am tidy + timely with rent/bills. Smoke outside. Enjoy a good read, the occasional beer and banter with easygoing housemates, drawing, science, venturing new places, billiards, video games, tv/film/docos, dining, going to events etc. Former volunteer at Laneway fest, Soundwave, last 4 years running at Rites of Passage Tattoo Festival. Ideally, seeking long term residence within close proximity to a train station and med-lrg private room (not shared) reasonably distanced from others. Thanks
I'm ultimately a creative and adventurous type, but professionally I'm a research academic. I've done a fair bit of travel, from the USA to Latvia and much in between. I've lived in quite a few share houses and I think I'm pretty aware about shared space, responsibilities, and gentle effective communication. Aiming for eco-friendly (not eco-fascistic) practices in the home is important to me. I love good food and I'm superb at silly dancing around the kitchen/lounge. Sometimes I go out to gigs or a bar or BBQ with friends. Quite often I binge-watch scifi series in bed on my laptop. I also do a bit of freestyle art and craft; usually on the creepy side but not tooo creepy! Aside from that I do meditation and yoga practice daily, and I study martial arts and potter in the garden. I'd like to get a veggie patch going or contribute to one. I'm also learning bass guitar; well, I'm teaching myself so it's slow progress :) My dog Maxie is a senior citizen kelpieXdingo. She's very sweet and unobtrusive. She mostly sleeps but likes to supervise back yard activities. She's chook-friendly but not cat-friendly. I take her for walks every day, and wherever possible she comes with me on outings.
Professional female working in communications and marketing, looking to share a nice place with other females or a mixture of genders. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of people, and not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need slightly larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 3.5m ish. Would also need broadband internet.
HEY! My name is Diana, 22 years young and looking for a new home! I am currently away travelling in Asia but will be back mid February to start uni again! Still continuing my studies at Latrobe, I plan on obtaining a full time job prior to moving back to Melbourne. I have been out of home for about four years now so I understand what it is like to live with other people! I am clean and a very easy going person. I am always down for a chat so ideally I would like to be friends with my housemate/s rather than another person renting the room. However, in saying that, I do understand the means of personal space! I love to keep fit, so occasionally will go for walks, the gym (really I'm only there for boxing classes), going out with my girls and enjoy occasional shopping sprees. If you would like to find out more about me, I would love to hear from my future housies soon!
Kind, considerate and easy going. Keen to share the cleaning duties. I love a chat over a cup of tea or vino but also like my downtime to study and be with my own thoughts. Looking to find a household of like minded professionals/students :)
Graphic design | right side of the brain | politically left | science over religion | cycling | cinema | caffeinated conversation | forlorn attempts at vegetarianism | I used to like bakes beans
I'm an easy-going 40 year old. By day I run my own wellness business part time and work in the funeral industry part time. But don't let that fool you - in my down-time I love swing dancing, drumming, stilt-walking, connecting with friends, yoga, qi-gong, sailing, hiking and camping. I'm seeking a long term room in Melbourne's north - ideally Thornbury, Clifton Hill, Preston, Fairfield or surrounds. My preference is for a medium-large sized room and it would be wonderful if you have some on-site storage or a garage for things like my stilts and camping gear. I'm very easy to get along with and value authentic connections. These days I am more into dinner parties with friends and games nights than raging parties at home.
I'm a 25 year-old working in Mordialloc and currently looking for a long-term stay in a share house in the inner north of Melbourne. When I'm not working I'm a keen cyclist and cricketer, podcast listener and pub trivia maniac. I've lived in sharehouses for the last five years across a couple of different countries, so I'm housebroken, reasonably tidy and cool with pets, especially silly cats and lazy dogs. I'm happy to keep to myself most of the time, but if you're living in a more social house then I can dig it.
Mature, independent, honest, reliable, responsible, I have good boundaries, am social but also like my own space too. Friendly, with good communication skills, I am seeking a harmonious space filled with good vibes.
Sensational view, great housemates, large living and outdoor areas. Sharing with two professionals who appreciate the good things in life. 2 min walk from train station and 20 mins to the city. Space has a lovely flow, and an abundance of light.
Hey there, I'm Stef, 28 and returned to study Sport and Exercise Science as a mature ages student. I also work part time in retail/events work and in my free time I'm at the gym or catching up with friends. I'm looking for a room in an established share house or 1-2 others who would be interested in starting a new sharehouse. Preferably to share with other females around a similar age 25-35. Looking for a house with backyard also as I have two pet dogs. They are a joy to be around and I have previously leased a with pet clause so they are allowd at most properties. Also happy to pay a bit extra rent. Hoping to share with like minded people studying or working full time who have their own commitments and ambitions, and see the house as a retreat away from drama, politics, hussles of work etc. (Alcoholics/drug users, gambers or unemployed no need to respond!) Also looking for something long term 1 year +, preferably 2 years until I finish my degree so I am interested in getting to know people first. Such as how to split household items, fridge space, having visitors over etc Able to pay share of bond and 4 weeks rent up front. Flexible with move date between March-April. If you think we may get along please send through about yourself :)
