Hello! I'm Flo, from Scotland and Michael is from Perth, W.A. We are looking for a fun and friendly new share house. We are vegan, ethically minded folk who have 3 adorable pet rats so our new home must be rattie friendly. We're happy, mindful, laid back, respectful people. Home is important to us and we are looking for a place to be proud of. Both of us have had plenty share-housing experience and understand the necessities of being a topnotch housemate. We love cleaning, sometimes we play rock paper scissors to see who gets to do the dishes, really. Also we are pretty dedicated dumpster dive masters so there's often plenty of savaged food up for grabs! I really like plants, gardening, music, and a good old chill sesh, Michael is a keen photographer, cyclist and d.i.y'er. Both of us enjoy cooking and spend a fair bit of time creating taste sensations in the kitchen, totally up for sharing meals now and again. We both work full time day jobs and enjoy getting out amongst nature for camping trips when we can. Feel free to send me a message if you would like to know anything more.
I tidy up after myself. I clean (floors, toilet, bathroom). I pretty much keep to myself, although don't mind a chat. I'm quiet. I work in a customer service role - it's strangely enjoyable. I have an 8 year old daughter who stays with me one or two nights a week - she's respectful of other people and their possessions. What I like to do: I love cooking on the weekend and listening to the AFL on the radio.
Hi pals! I'm Karina, 27 year young female! I am looking for a private room to rent in December (I may not move until early Jan, but happy to secure and pay for the room anywhere from the start of December onwards). I'm making the country to city move for my job in forensic psychiatric nursing, i will be employed full time, working shift work and also studying my masters. I will more than likely return to my home town when i have annual leave - so i probably won't have a lot of free time! My social life in the country usually consists of skiing/stand up paddle boarding/camping on the river or just having a few beers at the local! I'm pretty chill, and a bit past the hectic party scene. But i don't mind sitting down either at home or in a chill pub having a few frothies. I am looking to share a house with some new found friends (not just be strangers), in saying that i also like my own space and mindful that others do to. Ultimately i'd like to live somewhere where i can share a meal on a Sunday or every once in a while, chill on a week night and have a bbq during the summer. I don't mind a board game, a game of table tennis or pool (i'm super competitive). Looking for house mates that are like minded! I do however, come with super cute baggage. My 11 month old British Bulldog puppy, Missy. Who loves cuddles from any human! She's very much a lap dog. She spends pretty much all daylight hours outside, and usually sleeps inside with me. She doesn't bark, unless there is someone unfamiliar approaching a gate or front door. She doesn't chew things (other than her toys) and doesn't dig. She is extremely well behaved, house trained and loves to go for little walks. If you have a place with a small backyard, and think we could join your fam. Please feel free to get in contact! We'd love to hear back from you!
Hi! I am Maria. I am 34 years old. I am from Brazil and I am studying English here in Melbourne. I am studying all the mornings and I would like to have a job here. I love yoga, art, culture and design thinking. I would like to live in a place with these interests and with people that might like practice English.
Hey! I'm Dec, an actor and part time waiter looking for a new place to call home. Currently working at Mercedes Me in the CBD, a dream day gig as I can maintain a 9-5 work schedule and also drink coffee near beautiful cars. 😍☕️🚘 I have lived in Melbourne for two years and have a lot of experience with housemates and shared living. I am clean, organised, punctual with rent and bills, happy to hang out and also give space where needed. I'm a decent cook and am happy to participate in shared meals. Looking to move as soon as possible! Please let me know if I sound like the right fit for your new place! Cheers, Dec
Hi there! My name's Hannah and I work full-time in accounts and finance, study naturopathic medicine part-time, and I'm looking for some like-minded, friendly females to find a house with, or shift into an available room. In my spare time I love walking, farmers markets, cook-ups, hiking, and camping of course! I'm friendly and easy-going, trust-worthy, quiet, organised and very clean. I've house-shared these past nine years, and am very considerate of housemates and common areas. I'm definitely up for housemate hang-outs, dinners, walks etc :) Also, I would love to buy a golden retriever, so a pet-friendly house/unit with a relatively large outdoor space would be ideal! 🐶 If needed, I have a fridge, washing machine and large 5 seater couch. *Please note: due to my lease ending on the 8th December, I'm not aiming to shift out before the 24th November :)
Easy going guy. My partying days are well behind me, lol. Quiet, tend to keep to myself, but sociable when in passing. Tidy and considerate. Looking to find a place to call home. Currently work for a bank, with tv extra and modelling work on the side.

Our home is located in (North) Alphington, a suburb of Melbourne 7km north east of the city centre. It is a quiet and leafy green residential suburb composed mostly of families. It is bordered by the Darebin Creek to the east and the Yarra River to the south. One of its best features is that it contains a number of beautiful bush reserves and parks. We are a 5-minute walk to Darebin Parklands. Our home was built 6 years ago and has every modern feature. It has 3 bedrooms, each with mirrored built-in robes and a private balcony, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, a study area, an open plan living area, a separate small living area, a large kitchen with a double oven, dishwasher and walk-in pantry, a laundry, a double garage and a small rear garden with a private gate that leads directly onto Pitcher Park which includes a football, cricket ground and netball and basketball court. It has hydronic heating throughout, a split system heating/cooling system downstairs in the open plan living area and air conditioning upstairs. It is a light filled home and we are a relatively quiet household. The room available is 3.3 by 3.05 metres in size and fully furnished (king single bed, side drawers and lamp). We like to keep the house clean and tidy and do so on a regular basis. We are 800 metres or a 10 to 15 minute walk to Alphington train station (Hurstbridge line) and a few hundred metres from two bus services (routes 350 to La Trobe University and 508 to Moonee Ponds).
I have a full-time professional job based in East Melbourne and I’m out early most mornings to get in my Brazilian jiu jitsu training before work. I also bike to work a few days a week. I'm friendly, easy-going and like to keep myself busy by keeping active, working on a couple of side-projects, training and catching up with friends etc...and my training diet sometimes gets sidetracked by my love for brunches and coffee :) Looking for modern share-house in Fairfield, Alphington or Northcote, ideally with one other female. I’m not looking for a party house, but rather a place that’s relaxed and friendly, with a clean, tidy and respectful housemate. I’m always happy to have a chat and touch base when we’re both home and if you’re looking for someone who pays the bills and rent on time, is independent and genuine, then I’m your gal ;) It’s not imperative that I move out of the place where I’m living at now and I’m really looking for the right place to live. Looking to live with someone who is emotionally mature, respects other people’s privacy and is friendly and clean. Thanks :D
Hi guys! I'm on the hunt for someone, or two people, to set up a place in Fairfield, Northcote or surrounds. I'm hoping to move around end of Oct - early Nov. A bit about me: i'm a grad social worker, I work full time, part-time maker and crafter, and a friendly person. I come with a rabbit called Isabelle who enjoys pats. I can make delicious gingerbread. On the weekends I tend to be in and out of the house, but i'd love to have a couple of drinks from time to time. I consider myself to be a considerate person to live with, I know how to clean up after myself and get when you need some time alone, however i'd love to find some housemates who would like to hang out from time to time. I'm hoping to find some people who'd like to set up a comfortable home together. If you happen to have some furniture thats a big plus! I have some couches, a microwave, and a dining table. I also have a fridge however it lacks shelves! Send me a message if you'd like to meet up and discuss!
The available room is spacious with ensuite and private courtyard. The townhouse in general is modern, clean and spacious and not far from the city (trains and tram lines close by) as well as the buzz of Station Street which is within walking distance. Couldn't ask for a better rental property and sad to be leaving however London's calling!
I HouseMind looking after people's places and pets. Now and again I have some gaps between my HouseSits. Currently I have 2 months that I would like to house share from 12 OCTOBER till 04 DECEMBER. I work full time Monday to Friday & am often away for 10 hrs (including travel time etc). I respect people's property & keep it very clean & in order & as a result have been invited back many times to the same HouseSits. I have a friendly disposition & enjoy people & also enjoy having time to my own. Hoping to hear from you. :) Janemaree
Hey guys, Daniel here. A bit about me: I work a couple of university jobs, 3-4 days a week. One's academic, the other's supporting autistic uni students (I'm on the spectrum too, but very, very mild). The rest of the time, I'm a writer. So when I'm not at work or out with friends, I spend most of my time sweating bullets, punching words on a keyboard, and lamenting my career choices. Also a flick fiend who regularly frequents Cinema Nova. I love World Cinema and would be keen for the occasional French movie night. I'm an occasional meat-eater but mostly a veggo nowadays. You know, sustainability and all that. Quirks: I'm unusually sensitive to loud noises and bright lights. Sometimes I fatigue easily around people and have to retreat to my room for downtime. Otherwise, I manage well and am proudly just as dysfunctional as the general population. What I'm looking for: A quiet place with friendly people who are open-minded and looking to foster a creative living space. Not interested in party houses. I do my own thing mostly, and would hope for similar others. The nitty gritty: I clean up after myself and contribute to household items where required. Pay rent + bills on time too. I try my darnedest to communicate openly and honestly, and I don't dig passive-aggressiveness. Happy to work on achieving this dynamic with the right people. Hit me up if you're similar-minded or fit the bill :) Daniel
I’ve just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and need a place to live! At the moment I am looking for furnished room, for the short term so I can get myself set up here without having to rush. At the moment I'm thinking 2-3 months term, possibly longer too but listings that are okay with short term options would suit me best for the moment. A bit more about me: I currently work in IT as a support engineer/web consultant for a software and web hosting company. I work from home, and very occasionally from library/cafe. I understand if this is a deal breaker, from being home too much.. I am looking for new work but that may take a few months anyway. I’ve lived in share houses before and also lived alone. I like my alone time, but I also like the idea of being friends with my housemates, having dinner parties as I really love to cook! Watching movies, going out on adventures, etc. I love going out for dinner too so I'm in foodie heaven being in Melbourne haha. I like the outdoors a lot, in particularly snowboarding, just got into mountain biking. I also like going to see bands play, having conversations about the state of the world, and doing what I can to live as sustainably as I can. Message me via the Flatmates and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers.
Hey friends, Boring things: I work as a teachers aide, but I also do some work in before and after school care for some extra cash! I also compete and coach in calisthenics. I study education at Deakin part time. I'm looking to live somewhere where I have friends for housemates, rather than people who just coexist as I've experienced that before and it was not fun! Fun things: I'm a pretty funny person pretty much all of the time, love some bants. I am a big fan of AFL, calisthenics, reading, socialising, napping, running, animals, bad jokes, dad jokes (are they the same thing?), bad singing, netflix and eating. I'm v clumsy. I come with a boyfriend so he'd be around sometimes, I also come with a digital piano (if there is room) because I play. Obviously. I'm also hearing impaired, you can be as loud as you like while I don't have my hearing aids in (sleep and shower time) and I'd be oblivious.
27 year-old professional looking for new home! I currently live with a friend in Bundoora, but my work is moving offices to Hawthorn on 1st October so I'm looking for somewhere that's a bit closer (mainly looking in Northern & Eastern suburbs). I work Mon-Fri from 8.30am-5pm. I'm quiet and love sitting at home with a good book, but also like getting out and socialising at a bar with friends every now and then. I'm clean and tidy, but a little bit of clutter doesn't bother me. Love dogs, gaming and finding new shows to binge watch on Netflix. I'm easy going and like to think I'm funny, so if you think we'd get along, send a message!
I'm a generally quiet bloke who's respectful of others. I work full time, and am fully house trained :) Although i'm quiet i'm also a drummer and really looking for a place where i can practise. My kit has had some muffling so it's not quite as loud as a normal kit
Hello, I work full time in the Community sector. Ideally would love a modern apartment / townhouse with a spot for my car (on street is okay)
Would have loved to have stayed where I currently am, but the landlord is selling up and moving on, and so I will have to move on as well by early November this year at the latest. I would dearly love to find a place that has either a garage or workshop as I am dying to start my blacksmithing hobby. I dont smoke. I rarely drink. I am not vegan. I do not identify as being LGBTIQ+ but dont have issues whatsoever with those who do. I work full time as a hospital orderly during the day mon -fri. I dont have pets but dont have issues with those who do I try to be as low impact on other people and the environment as i can be. Am happy to help clean, or pay for a cleaner in addition to my rent. Um, if you would like to know more feel free to message or sms or phone me :)
