I'm 36 years old, and I've been living in Melbourne since 2017. I was born in Sydney, but actually grew up in Perth, so I've now lived back and forth between 3 different Australian states! I'm a self-employed art writer and create content for visual artists that they can use online, as well as with galleries, for exhibitions etc! I currently work from home as well as at local libraries, cafes etc. I also have a huge interest in true crime content, documentaries, reading biographies and 80s music. I previously lived in Coburg for 5 years and have been subletting in Sunshine West for the last year. The agent I rented through in Coburg has very kindly offered me a great reference, if that's something you do require. We prefer a rental property close to public transportation with secure parking. My wife, an IT professional, will be starting her new job on May 14, 2024. Our 8-year-old son will be residing with us, and although my mother plans to visit during our stay, she won't be present for the entire duration. We don't have any pets nor do we plan to get any. Currently, I share accommodation with a flatmate found through the same app, paying $250 per week. While I'm not on the lease, I can provide proof of my rental history through bank statements and a declaration from my flatmate.
