Hello potential housemate(s), Brief overview: I am looking to move March 10-17th I need an unfurnished room and somewhere to park my car My name is Brooke and I work Mon- Fri in the CBD as an ESL teacher. I am also studying online to become a primary teacher. Currently, I live in Ivanhoe but in March I will move to the west side of Melbourne as I will be doing a one-month teacher placement in Seabrook from April- May. I am looking to stay in the west until late July. I am always up for a chat or drink with my housemates but am happy to also have my 'me' time. Coming home to a friendly chat is a great thing but I respect that people also like to chill out in their own space. I am an animal lover and also love to help in the garden. With my studies and students at work, I tend to be at my desk in my room working away so you needn't worry about me hogging the lounge or partying late into the night! I have lived in sharehousing long enough to know that I am a neat person who prefers a place that is cleaned regularly and common areas kept tidy. However, that is not to say I am obsessed with cleanliness but like a house to be a home. I have all my own bedroom furniture and own a car so will need somewhere (on or off-street) to park it. Feel free to contact me if you think I may suit your place or if you have any questions. Thanks!
We are a couple from the UK, looking to find somewhere in the western suburbs until the end of June. We do enjoy a sociable drink but are definitely not big party people and would both prefer to enjoy a nice meal or watch a movie. Hoping to find somewhere great to live to see out our last few months in Australia :)
Couple from Hoppers Crossing looking to move in or search for a house with a few house mates close to our age for 6 months - 1 year. We have 1 cats and 1 dog both outdoor pets. Kate works and is a student, and Jayden works part time working up to full time hours. Easy going, quiet and like to keep to ourselves.
Clean, I like my privacy and I respect others privacy, I don't mind the occasional party but I have a job that means alot to me so it doesn't happen often, I'm also quiet and can sing fairly well so I can sing to you! I love food and a really good convosation when one sparks up, I'm not a good cook but I do try and experiment so there's always going to be a laugh or two.
Hi I'm Riccardo, 29 years coming from Italy. I'm in WH so I'm looking for a place to stay for the next months. I'm a quiet, super clean, respectful, cool and easy going person. I'm working full time so I won't be home for most part of the day, but when I'm home I love to cook and share a glass of wine or a cold beer. Since I'm a clean and respectful person I always keep my stuff in order and I keep my place clean and I always pay bills and rent on time. Cheers
im very considerate of others very clean and tidy, work full time as a heavy vehicle mechanic during the day and slowly starting to work for myself in spare time otherwise pretty quiet , friendly easy going spend a lot of my time doing my own thing in my room im a non smoker love animals anything else feel free to ask :)
Easy going guy, happy to keep to myself but equally happy to have a chat. I have 3 grown up kids who I often visit and stay with so I’ll be out a few nights a week.
I am a disability support worker and studying online. I am an extremely tidy person, I generally get anxious about mess. I am very private and tend to keep to myself and very respectful towards others. I do have a fighter fish named Frankie.
I enjoy cooking and usually make enough to share. I'm no grease monkey but I love cars. I also enjoy woodwork, hiking, scottish accents, coffee and sketching. I like having people around to talk to but also enjoy my own space. I'm a fairly sensible fella and if I have friends over we won't get rowdy beyond making a bit of noise over a bored game.
I'm Sanjana, an Indian IT professional who's moved to Melbourne from India about 4 months back on PR. Currently working full time as a Software tester. I'm looking out for an apartment/house where I can have my own room, prefarably with an ensuite. I'm keen on a place which is within walking distance to a bus/train/tram station which takes me to the city, since I don't own a car and am heavily reliant on public transport(atleast for now!). Would prefer to live close by to supermarkets, Indian groceries and restaurants too if possible. I'm responsible, clean, not loud, fun loving and someone who enjoys alone time and her own space, but at the same time I'd always be game to have a chat, share a meal/drink and hang out after work/weekends. Love cooking, photography, reading, exploring the city, travelling, finding new places to eat etc.
I'm 20 years old, I'm in my second year of Uni studying a bachelor of Youth Work, at Footscray Park. I have just moved back to Melbourne after living in SA for the last 3 months and I am looking for accommodation near by uni. :) I love travel and being spontaneous, meeting great people is always fun. :) I also work casually at Bunnings.
Hi, I’m Belinda I’m friendly easy going and very clean and respectful I am looking for a quiet home to share with people who are respectful of others personal space and property. I do enjoy spending time together over meal or tv. While at home I enjoy my privacy. I work well with clear schedules and sharing responsibilities of equal house work.
This fully furnished room with double built in robes and desk and comfy queen size bed won’t be available till the 15th of March 2018. My house is large, with great views across the road to parks and cherry lake. A huge backyard with lots of space to unwind, exercise and do some gardening. A huge shed for storage. A beautiful sea breeze keeps the house cool. We are very close to the ocean. 6 minute walk to train station and shopping, cafes and beach. I have air conditioning in the lounge room and a small fan in your room. The house is fully set up with Foxtel, Netflix and Stan in the lounge room. Looking for someone fit and healthy, working full time, preferably over 30 someone who’ll become a friend to share hosting dinner parties at home, Zumba in the loungroom, movies, dancing around and just in general being easy to live with and fun. Also preferably a vegan or vegetarian. Must be a non smoker. Thank you
This property is a lovely 2 story townhouse. It is a 1 minute walk to the beach. It has a small courtyard and is a short walk to the Altona train station and main Street full of lovely little shops, restaurants and cafes.
Simple, lovely, close to the beach and quiet! Furnished house, except for your room :) My place has a garage - for storage not a car - air con and heating. I don’t have Internet because Altona is considered “regional” 😂 so I don’t want to pay the extra costs to have Internet when my phone has a lot of data - happy to contribute if you want to get it though! The lease is up in July, so you will need to go on the lease through the real estate if you would like to take over if/when I move out. No pressure, you don't have to take it over at all, I just cannot have a house mate unless it goes through them, sorry. The actual rent is $450 per week, so it's just split two ways - $225 per week. Happy to negotiate for the right person. Bills not included.
About me- I am considerate, clear up after myself. I am an independent, but also friendly. I am 42 years old mature man who doesn't need to rely on others but I enjoy being with people for conversation, going to beach, nights out if time permits. I work full time at the state government as a professional Engineer from Monday to Friday. As a very quiet person, pretty much I am self-studying on industry engineering certifications as part of the career goal, so recently I have enjoyed practising and reading the engineering books. Another thing that I like to point that I am not such a person who is wanting friends over all the time or coming home late at nights. I keep the place clean. I like walking, going to beach and love to cook healthy meals. I am also polite and respectful of peoples privacy. If that sounds good to you, I like to hear from you. Thanks.
Both Sonic (a medium brown dog) and I are well mannered, housetrained, and easy going. I spend M-F at work with the occasional weekend on call. Sonic likes to hang out on a couch or my room during this time. On weekends we often have adventures or watch sport. I'm professionally employed in animal management and we both can provide good rental references.
