Very close to Sydney road, Tram 19 (~ 4 min walk), Anstey Train Station (~ 1 min walk) , buses, IGA supermarket, ALDI and shops. Unlimited internet available but not included in rent. Central heating/cooling available. A safe home. Please note it’s an all female apartment ( no couples )
My place is super close to a train station and also only a very short walk to the tram stop, either way it only takes around 10minutes to be in the city. I'm generally quite a tidy person, ...I also love to goto the markets if I get time on the weekend and have a cook up.... The kitchen here is amazing, the fridge is huge too. The coffee machine makes a decent latté. The juicer is a cold pressed semi commercial thing that makes the best green juices ever!! The internet here is quite fast and unlimited. The hot water is instantaneous and also unlimited, lol,, the gas heating is awesome, the TV is next level ridiculously HUGE, ...I don't mind staying in sometimes for a nice slow cooked meal, a glass of wine, and Netflix and chill...
Fairly new premises with big bathroom, spacious living area, huge balcony and parking space. There is a European laundry and split system air conditioning. The room can comfortably fit a double/queen bed and other pieces of furniture. The apartment is already well-furnished but can leave behind some current furniture if need be. The apartment is located a short walk from the 19 tram and Anstey station, and is only a short 20 min trip to the university of Melbourne (there is also a bike path to uni!). You'll be in walking distance of a massive IGA, lots of good cheap food and tons of cute cafes and shops, including Barkly Square which has Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Priceline (basically anything you need). Rent is $1042.5pcm but happy to negotiate :) Please message me if you are interested so we can work something out
Looking for a new housemate(s) to share a two bedroom townhouse close to Anstey train station and Sydney rd. Very close to public transport and a stones throw from the upfield bike path. The house is spacious with air cons in the bedrooms and heating throughout the house, the room for rent is large, 4.5m x 3.1m, and has an ajoining little balcony over the street. There is a little backyard and off street parking. Am happy to take workers or students and travellers, as long as you can pay the rent and bills. The room is available now. A little about me. My name is Chris, I'm 38 and male. I work part time whilst studying an arts/history degree . I'm into books, music - I'm a record collector - and politics. I am very left politically and very much like talking about the world I live, so if you don't have the capacity for critical thinking and reflection then we probably won't get along. So I also like a yarn, I drink and smoke and swear; I like cooking for people, and am also into boardgames, so gamers are most welcome! You will also be sharing the place with with a fat cat called Moo. Happy house hunting. call me or message ps I know the pics are a bit crappy, I'll try and post some new ones soon.
Seeking a new flat mate for a lovely large room available in Brunswick Home. The house is on a cute quiet street in Brunswick, it's older so has the charm along with the quirks that the older Melbourne homes can bring. The room is large - currently fits a Queen bed and still has room for other furniture and walking around and includes two large wardrobes. House is close to tram 19 or Anstey Train Station - lots of cafes and bars close but feels away from it all at the same time - the street is quaint and the neighbors are lovely.
LARGE, LIGHT AND BRIGHT - FURNISHED ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT. Why rent a room in a share-house when you can rent your own furnished one-bedroom apartment and have the whole place to yourself, where you will immediately feel at home? I use the apartment as my home/office, but spend most of my time working and travelling outside of Australia (I am a documentary filmmaker). I am again working on a project outside of Australia, so am renting the entire apartment fully furnished, for a period of almost 2 months - available from 25th October 2018 until Christmas 2018 (exact date is flexible). It may then become available for 6 months + from the end of January 2019. It is located on the third floor of a small and very quiet block of apartments (12 in total) in the centre of Brunswick, only 50 metres from Sydney Rd (near corner Albion St). I know I’m biased, but it’s the best part of Brunswick, which has yet to be gentrified and still maintains its quirky multicultural feel. Walking distance to pretty much everything you will want or need – cafes, restaurants, pubs (2 minute walk to the best pub in Melbourne, the Edinburgh Castle), supermarkets, library, banks, parks, etc. The living room has large North-facing windows, which allow natural sunlight into the apartment all day – no need to turn the lights on at all during the day. Good size kitchen table, which can be also used as desk if you wish to use the apartment as a home/office (as I do), and sturdy chairs. Super-comfy couch and arm chair, vintage coffee table and furniture, and very large flat-screen television. (The photos show an electric piano, but this is not currently included in the apartment). There is a split system reverse cycle heating/cooling unit in the living space, and an electric wall heater that warms the space up great at night. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and under-bench oven, fridge, smoothie blender, and all utensils including pots and pans – and everything else you need to feel at home in the kitchen. There is also a good size washer/dryer also in the kitchen. Large bedroom with built in robes, bed-side table with lamp, oil heater, and large East-facing windows for beautiful sunrises and uninterrupted views of the Dandenongs! The previous tenant had their own bed - so you can also bring your own bed if you prefer. Spacious bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin. The apartment is located in a secure building with security gates/entrance, and comes with it’s own designated undercover carspot and remote control for security roller door. There is a secure communal area to store bikes, and this space also includes a fixed clothesline, and small area to have a BBQ if you wish. A 3 minute walk to the nearest tram stop on Sydney Rd (tram 19) and less than 5 minute walk to Anstey train station (Upfield). Both tram and train will take you directly into the city in 15-20mins. The Upfield bike path also runs along the train line, and will take you directly into the city. Rent is $320 per week plus bills, with one months bond in advance. Internet is an additional $20 per week (unlimited wifi) which is exactly what I pay. The apartment is available from 25th October 2018 until Christmas 2018 (exact date is flexible). It may then become available for 6 months + from the end of January 2019. I am looking for someone that is looking for a place to call home, someone mature and respectful who will treat the apartment and everything inside it well. But also someone who will also make good use of the apartment, and make my home their home. If this sounds like you, please send me a message telling me a little bit about yourself - Thanks! David
The location is amazing! The house is right next to Sydney Rd shops, bars and restaurants. It is a 5 minute walk from Anstey Station and the bike path that goes to the city. The room is absolutely massive! We have fig, olive and nectarine trees and a bunch of herbs and veggies in the garden. We recycle and are just about to start composting.
Massive, private room, queen bed, bills included, city fringe, fully-furnished, fast unlimited WiFi, fortnightly cleaner. Couples, students and travelers welcome. Apartment: Located right in the heart of Brunswick on the famous Sydney Rd, two-storey, comes fully-furnished and equipped with everything. Large kitchen and dining area with a cosy communal lounge room, laundry and a quaint backyard with a small garden. Room: Again these rooms are huge! Recently renovated and fully-furnished with solid wooden furniture; features queen size bed, couch, wardrobe, polished hardwood floors, high ceilings and large windows providing plenty of natural light. Transport: Brunswick train station and the 19 tram stop is a 2min walk away. The total rent for the room per week is $230 or $300 for couples which includes all bills.
FULLY FURNISHED with ALL BILLS included and unlimited broadband internet. My lovely Federation home has the best of both worlds, in a few ways: * cool, vibrant Brunswick is on tap, but being in a cute residential pocket means it's really peaceful - if you don't count the bird twitter. Anstey station is close, as is the #19 tram and other PT options * heritage charm is combined with a spacious modern section out the back - the kitchen is a dream to cook in, the bathroom is modern, and the outside courtyard adds to the charm * there’s a strong international flavour, being suited to visiting scholars / workers / travellers who want the feel of a home without the responsibility of setting up a household * we value tranquility and respect other's needs to study or relax, in balance with the enjoyment of each other's company as much as our busy lives allow * everyone is clean and tidy - without being anal about it. Your room is one of two downstairs bedrooms with shared bathroom. There is street parking and room to store a bike. I'm looking at a minimum of 4 months, although the length of time can be negotiated. My adult children are now spreading their wings so I have the room to enjoy hosting people from all over the world. I am currently a secondary school teacher who has done a lot of other things, including travelling extensively. Engaging with different cultures, ideas, current affairs and arty stuff is important to me, as is enjoying the natural world. Developing my very large garden is my current 'project'. It's a fabulous space, and superb for summer evenings chilling over good food, wine and conversation. I am based out the back and get a lot of pleasure bringing diverse, interesting people together.

I'm doing a PhD in early childhood education. Chilled, tidy, like to discover new places in and out the town. I like to build a good friendship and chatting and laughing. The most important thing is respecting the other, and to be respected from the other. I Like coocking many different cuisines :) .
I'm an easy-going 25 year old guy from India, working full time in Melbourne. A non-vegetarian too. My clients are based in Melbourne CBD (I'm a tech consultant), so I'm looking for an accommodation preferably near to CBD or may be near to a train station since I don't have a car yet (I'm totally new to Australia). I'm a smoker, but I am also a clean person. Non-judgmental and understanding. I blend in with people easily. I'm very responsible when it comes to doing my share of the household work, paying rent/bills, etc. I don't have pets but I'm totally fine with them being in the house. I respect your privacy & quiet-time and expect the same from you too. Perks of living with me: 1. I've a couple friends who are pursuing their masters in Melbourne. You get to socialize with them, their friends and so on (on weekends), if you want to. 2. You get an ensemble of recommendations about trending and amazing Movies/TV Series to binge on. 3. A lending ear to your problems and tons of free and good advice whenever you need it. 4. One stop solution to all your PC problems. I love fixing Windows PCs/Laptops. So if you ever got a problem, you know what to do. 5. Exceptional critic and reviewer when it comes to patching up job resumes, blog articles etc. 4. You get to taste a lot of Indian dishes and be a part of several experimental cooking recipes. Don't worry about the spices, I'm versatile :) Don't hesitate to know more.
