PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! Your opinion of Donald Trump being president, and everything that goes with it is important to me. Please state your position on him in your message. This place has a PRIVATE BATHROOM, just for you! This place is very, very NEW, so if you like a modern style home and you couldn't imagine sharing a bathroom with anyone else then you will love this place. THIS PLACE INCLUDES - High Speed Unlimited NBN Broadband Internet - 2 min Walk to Anstey Train Station - 2 min Walk to Sydney Road - Your own Private Bathroom I love to learn things so if you are excellent at an interesting area of life, then we can learn things from each other, as I am teacher of many languages, and musical instruments. I love to learn new things to master every area of life (from cooking to good health, for example.) I do play music and teach occasionally in the apartment but I make sure to do this in a way that agrees with my housemate (I also tend to practice alone, whenever this is possible). The Apartment that I am renting is in Brunswick (off Sydney Road and in front of Anstey Train Station.) Rent is $285 (INCLUDES all bills) and Unlimited NBN Broadband Internet (The fastest one in Australia) This is a neat and tidy, well respected Apartment and deserves someone fitting. NO COUPLES. Room: Huge king room with walk in wardrobe, ensuite, A/C and heating and private balcony. House: Three bedroom warehouse conversion, with large open living/dining and another balcony. Area: 5 minute to walk to Anstey Station and Sydney Road, close to great bars, pubs and restaurants but still quiet. 20 minutes to the CBD by train. The guys have their own interests but like to chat, watch films, do family dinners and drinks every now and then (normal housemate stuff). You: Preferably a couple, but singles are cool. Considerate, sociable, clean and respectful. LGBTI+ friendly 🙂 We will look to organise viewings this weekend and into next week, so get in touch if you are interested!
Looking for someone who is easy going, social, clean. All those ideal housemate things. Previous housemates have all been great because we all did our own thing, enjoyed each others company and didn't mind sharing a meal whenever we could (no expectations or planning) and contributed to cleaning and household 'stuff'. It should be fun, easy and my ideal housemate should have a good energy about them :) The place is furnished but feel free to make it your own too. If you need a reference on me, my last housemates Alyson or Maíra would be happy to talk to you :) Lovely, 2 bedroom apartment in Brunswick. Secure and gated building access. Fully furnished apartment with a comfy new Lshaped couch. Feel free to add your own touches. Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances. The room has a 4 door wardrobe so lots of space with a comfy bed with linen supplied if you don’t have your own. 5 min walk walk to train, tram, buses and way too many coffee shops! A big beautiful park one door down. My name is Maria. So a bit about me... 31 years old, full time working professional. Australian born Vietnamese. Love yoga, always planning my next adventure, getting out and about. Just came back from 3 years abroad. I enjoy cooking- sweet or savoury and might have friends over for dinner every once in awhile. Love indie/folk music and seeing live music. You’ll ideally be a working professional, similar age and be a great housemate. Open to short term or long term stays.
LARGE, LIGHT AND BRIGHT - FURNISHED ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT. Why rent a room in a share-house when you can rent your own furnished one-bedroom apartment and have the whole place to yourself, where you will immediately feel at home? I use the apartment as my home/office, but spend most of my time working and travelling outside of Australia (I am a documentary filmmaker). I am again working on a project outside of Australia, so am renting the entire apartment fully furnished, for a period of 6 months, and possibly longer (on a month-by-month basis after this). It is located on the third floor of a small and very quiet block of apartments (12 in total) in the centre of Brunswick, only 50 metres from Sydney Rd (near corner Albion St). I know I’m biased, but it’s the best part of Brunswick, which has yet to be gentrified and still maintains its quirky multicultural feel. Walking distance to pretty much everything you will want or need – cafes, restaurants, pubs (2 minute walk to the best pub in Melbourne, the Edinburgh Castle), supermarkets, library, banks, parks, etc. The living room has large North-facing windows, which allow natural sunlight into the apartment all day – no need to turn the lights on at all during the day. Good size kitchen table, which can be also used as desk if you wish to use the apartment as a home/office (as I do), and sturdy chairs. Super-comfy couch and arm chair, vintage coffee table and furniture, and very large flat-screen television. (The photos show an electric piano, but this is not currently included in the apartment). There is a split system reverse cycle heating/cooling unit in the living space, and an electric wall heater that warms the space up great at night. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and under-bench oven, fridge, smoothie blender, and all utensils including pots and pans – and everything else you need to feel at home in the kitchen. There is also a good size washer/dryer also in the kitchen. Large bedroom with built in robes, bed-side table with lamp, oil heater, and large East-facing windows for beautiful sunrises and uninterrupted views of the Dandenongs! The previous tenant had their own bed - so you can also bring your own bed if you prefer. Spacious bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and wash basin. The apartment is located in a secure building with security gates/entrance, and comes with it’s own designated undercover carspot and remote control for security roller door. There is a secure communal area to store bikes, and this space also includes a fixed clothesline, and small area to have a BBQ if you wish. A 3 minute walk to the nearest tram stop on Sydney Rd (tram 19) and less than 5 minute walk to Anstey train station (Upfield). Both tram and train will take you directly into the city in 15-20mins. The Upfield bike path also runs along the train line, and will take you directly into the city. Rent is $325 per week plus bills, with one months bond in advance. Internet is an additional $20 per week (unlimited wifi). The apartment is available from Friday 27th April (exact date flexible). I am looking for someone that is looking for a place to call home, someone mature and respectful who will treat the apartment and everything inside it well. But also someone who will also make good use of the apartment, and make my home their home. If this sounds like you, please send me a message telling me a little bit about yourself - Thanks! David

House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
