Hi there!
We’re Eddy and Tiya, a couple from China. Before coming to Australia, we lived in Shanghai for six years. We’ve just started our working holiday adventure, and Melbourne is our very first stop. We’re planning to stay in the city for 1–2 months while exploring and settling into local life.
Eddy have been working in the mobile gaming industry as a data analyst for six years. His work involves studying player behavior patterns across different cultures and countries. As for me, I am a writer with a postgraduate degree in world history, and her research focuses on cross-cultural interactions.
In our spare time, Eddy enjoys cycling and listening to indie rock—shoegaze is his favorite genre. I am a book lover and a big fan of movies. We often go hiking and camping outside in spring and autumn. We’ve traveled to a few countries and in Shanghai, we have many friends from culturally diverse backgrounds. We really value cultural respect and love engaging in cross-cultural communication.
We’re both quiet, tidy, respectful, and easygoing. We don’t smoke, don’t have pets, and don’t host parties.
