Hi guys, my name is Jack, I'm 30 years old, and I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane about 9 months ago. I'm currently working part-time at Coles in Richmond, which is an in-between job at present - I'm currently in the process of landing some work as a Mental Health Support Worker. I love to read and write, and am planning on taking up a Graduate Diploma of Arts at UniMelb mid-year, specialising in Creative Writing. I also hope to publish a novel/short story collection one day! In my spare time, I like to catch up with friends for a drink or a coffee, see a film, or go to a gig, as well as solo trips to the library to read and/or write. I'm keen to get back involved in some activities I used to do in Brisbane, like rock climbing and fencing, as well as new activities like joining a writers group or book club! I'm a very tidy person and enjoy keeping the house tidy. I clean up after myself, and pitch in to help maintain communal areas around the house. I enjoy being social, especially with my roommates, and have become great friends with my current roomies. I also respect privacy and alone time, which is something I need for myself too. She’s grown up apartment living with a balcony so either an apartment or townhouse/house with a yard would work. Ideal situation would be a housemate that get along with and can have occasional wines/dinners/movie nights with, but is also happy to just be independent. I think joining an established house is usually easier but also open to teaming up and finding a cute place. (I know the rental market is kinda messed up right now but cheekily I’ve noticed landlords/agents seem to love doctors on applications 😬.
