Hi guys I am searching for accommodation near Deakin University Burwood. I am obsessed with cleanliness would prefer a simple room and would like to team up for accommodation as I will be joining for master in information systems in October.
I'm a local from Victoria and I study philosophy and literature at Deakin university. But the best reason to live with me is because I don't make a sound and I always clean up after myself, and I like cooking meals for other housemates too.
I'm Norayr (Norry), 22. Looking for a room in Melbourne's Bayside suburbs or Inner South-east. I work in Aviation as a flight instructor. Love travelling, cooking, catching up with friends, pets (I have a yellow lab but he won't be living with me) and music! Looking for a room in an existing sharehouse, or team-up.
Hey, My names Chloe and I work full time in Banking for a big 4 bank. I work in Camberwell and am currently looking to move a little further out but still be close enough to work. I have been house sharing for 12 years so am very familiar with the process. Incredibly respectful of others and tidy, also a great cook. I do have a dog - english staffy called Willa she is 6 years old, house trained and just a beautiful nature little girl all round. she will supply amply cuddles. Ideally looking for one person to team up with however will not dismiss the idea of 3 people. I have all the furniture required to start a new house, just looking for the right person Hit me up if you might be interested
Hey! My name is Asad and I am currently looking for a room mate to share a house with. I am from India and I will arrive in Melbourne on 7th October. I'll be studying Masters in Information Systems at Deakin University. I am a clean and friendly person. I love meeting new people. I am pretty quiet and mainly keep to myself.
Hello there Melbourne peeps my name is Lucie. I'm looking for a place to live. I'm a friendly, tidy woman. I'm not a party animal but good for a chat with a glass of red and a cheese platter. I like foreign films, bikeriding and I'm a foodie. I'm very reliable when it comes to money, I'm employed. I've lived in 10 sharehouses and respect personal space. I'm looking for a place with at least one woman living there and maximum 3 people including me. I would rather not live with a couple, no offense to anyone :) Good heating is very important to me, coming from Queensland :) Also a place with wifi and is fully furnished but I do have my own bedroom furniture. I can pay $220 a week including utilities. Also no offence to anyone but I'd prefer a place where there no smokers. I'm pretty solid really. Looking forward to meeting you cheers Lucie

Hi I'm Johnny, I'm a strategy manager at a digital agency for work. Some weeknights I attend classes or go for a swim and others I like to wind down with a cup of tea and a chat or netflix binge together. Weekends I'm equally comfortable doing home-body stuff or getting out and exploring! I enjoy playing some guitar and also recently started doing more cooking.
Hi all! My name's Natalie and I'm a 23-year-old graduate business analyst at a large corporate (gosh, it feels weird not being able to just say 'student' anymore :'). I graduated from Deakin at the start of this year, and have been living in the CBD since the start of 2016. While it's been great, it's time for me to move on to somewhere closer to work (in Hawthorn East). I know lots of young people looove the city, but coming from regional VIC where I'm originally from and having the habit of driving everywhere, I actually found it a bit too busy and noisy for my liking (albeit pretty city views are da' bomb!). I've lived in and out of home since the start of uni in 2012, and have worked since I was 15. Whilst I've been really, really fortunate to always find amazing people to live with in the past, I've definitely also come across (during my searches) my share of cramped (3 or more peeps in a room) and dirty sharehouses; places with curfews (literally - a 'lights out' time of 10pm), rules about having people of the opposite sex over, and interesting cooking restrictions. Needless to say, I never followed up! =P I'm not overly fussed about cleanliness but do appreciate a neat-ish home, so am obviously happy to play my part in maintaining one. I'm pretty sociable, so do love the occasional shared dinners, like watching movies/good TV shows with housemates/going out or whatever - but can also totally respect your space. Not one for a party house as I love sleep too much, and am a total lightweight xD I do have a great boyfriend who is the same age, and similar in that we're a kind of boring, career-focused and sensible couple; I'd expect him to be over a couple of times a week (if that) but he has his own place and would not be 'living' with me. You'll like him too, promise! As for hobbies - I do pretty much anything in good company, but like doing nerdy things like reading, writing, chilling on the keys and singing when I'm feeling solitary. Think that covers most things but please feel free to ask me about anything else! Not in a rush to move out too soon at all but am putting feelers out to see what's out there, and could potentially move earlier if I find the right place. Do let me know if you think we might be a good fit :) Thanks!
I'm Of Irish stock a sense of humor reliable and clean.I don't run out hot water.WORK In CONSTRUCTION Grew Up MtWaverley with 7 Siblings and help the poor the lonely the suffering .Ride push bike a lot and do work for the Church.

Fantastic large house with massive back yard (685 sq meters)! I'm living with my aunt in this house now but will be taking her lease over once she moves out at the end of May. A friend and I will be in need of a 3rd person to share this house with! 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. The bedrooms and quite variable in size and negotiable as we haven't decided which we want either. The 2 smaller rooms have built in robes and the master has a large added robe that is staying. The current floorplan includes formal sitting and living rooms, both with lovely rendered mantles and corner windows, while the bright functional kitchen/meals overlooks a sunroom through to the sought-after north-facing rear garden. A period bathroom is in pristine condition with separate bath and shower. Outside, the large established garden features a separate shed and fernery, with good off-street parking, including single garage and carport in a quiet street. Quality carpets and drapes, gas ducted heating and air-conditioning are further features. *About 450m (7 min walk) to Burwood station on the alamein line and usually only about 25-30 mins to the CBD depending on time of day. *Perfect for Deakin students as you can walk 10 min to the 75 tram on Toorak road and you're there in 10 mins, or less! *Also easy to hop on the 75 tram to get into camberwell *Close to high street shops (1.3km) *Amazing running path/trail that goes forever and connects to Gardiners Creek Creek Reserve bike path *200m to sports fields/off leash dog area which I go to with my pup twice a day. As for house rules: there aren't any, as long as you're a responsible adult and respectful and considerate then we'll get along. Room is not furnished unfortunately but house is furnished for the most part. By the end of may will need a washing machine, vacuum and could use some kitchen supplies which would be welcome. Otherwise a fun day trip to Ikea is in order! ****Photo's are from the listing and not actual furniture that will be here. **** Bills not included as i'm not sure what they'll be but I've been told around $20 per week per person, maybe a little more in the winter.

Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Hi, I am a Sydney sider who recently got a gig in Melbourne. My work is located in Mulgrave, so I am really keen to live around Holmesglen station/ Glen Waverley area. The most important attributes to the property that I want to live in are the close proximity to station, fitness first and a catholic church. Thanks, RHeza
We are a group of easy and nice backpackers from germany, that look for a place to stay not too far from our workplaces. We prefer a quiet atmosphere to relax after a long day of work. we are flexible with arrangements and always ready to compromise. just text us. even if u dont have enough space for all 5 of us. We can also only move in with 2 or 3 of us. just massage me.
We are a very understanding and easy going couple. Love exploring/discovering new places but also enjoy a quiet day at home watching movies. Both of us are studying and work part time but might start working full time from October. Specifically looking for a place with an ensuite. Wish to move in towards the end of October but can pay the bond right away to book the place.
Hi! My name is James, I'm a 28 year old engineer, I'm originally from Newcastle but I've been living in Northcote for the last three years and enjoying Melbourne life. I'm a pretty laid back guy that's respectful of space, keeps communal areas clean and tidy but will also not be a room hermit- always keen for a beer, a catch up and the occasional house BBQ/chat. I love my sport, basketball and rugby mainly, but any sort of live sport is pretty up my street and I'll be happy to watch or play whatever comes my way- I get into the city as much as I can to catch a game. I'll be bringing along my dog Jemima, a small Jack Russell, 5 years old, with me- she's pretty much the perfect house dog, quiet, friendly but not needy, and used to sleeping outside so won't be roaming the house. I don't have any noisy hobbies like drumming so you don't have to worry about me making to much noise and I'll be working 7-5 Monday to Friday so weeknights will be pretty chilled out for me. On the weekends I like to be pretty busy so if I'm not in the gym I'll be walking the dog or heading out for a few beers with some mates- my girlfriend recently moved to London so you won't be seeing her about the house much and I'll not be bringing loads of people back to partying for all hours!
I was asked to write what makes me great to live with? this is a tough one lets make a list: 1. I will make you laugh even at my own expense 2. I can have philosophical conversations if you want 3. I am really considerate towards other people 4. I like bringing happy and chill vibes to the place 5. Try to keep everything clean 6. I like playing video games and witty banter. 7. I get along with everyone and am down to earth Currently working full time as well. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, emotional outbursts e.t.c Cheers
Hiya Im Jess, I am a 21 year old qualified hairdresser - And Cameron is a 22 year old Photographer - we’re both very creative people, who both have interests in various pop culture, books, board/video games, movies and music. - We are looking for people with similar interests, who don’t mind pitching in to keep the house clean, as everyone should be responsible. - We aren’t party people, and don’t wanna live in a party house, but are likely to have people over for board/video games or drinks on weekends. - I spend most of my free time, binge watching Netflix or reading (or going out to play Dungeons & Dragons) - and Cameron spends a lot of time looking into various (confusing, but cool) photography things. - 100% LGBTIQ Friendly. If you have a pet, that’s fine – but no long haired cats (Im sadly, incredibly allergic to cat fur) - this would also depend on having landlords permission We want to START a NEW home (preferably with no more than 2 other people of a similar age) where no one feels lesser than another, where everyone is comfortable to bring family/friends over for dinner etc. - But we are also interested in moving into an existing sharehouse. If interested, please message me and I will happily give my mobile number for further conversations. (PS-we have a TONNE of kitchen stuff, a second tv and couch - ideally we'd like to bring them all with us on top of our bedroom furniture. I can also supply a dining table and fridge if needed)
I am an international student from India and pursuing my masters in IT in deakin university. I am hoping to find a place for 6 months to a year. I am really clean and do a good job cleaning up after myself. I am not very chatty or talkative but I do like to have a chat once in a while. I like reading, watching soccer, playing the guitar and keeping fit. I like cooking. I've been told that I am a good listener and quite helpful! I don't have a car at the moment and I don't have my own furniture. I do not smoke and I drink occasionally on the weekends. I don't have any pets either.
Hi! I'm a funny and responsible Spanish girl. I've come here as PhD candidate at Deakin University. I like reading, watching movies, listening some music, have fun with my friends, do some excersice (when I have time) and animals also! I am very talkative, responsible, well organised, cleaned and quiet. Because of the PhD I will spend much time in the uni (9-5 at least), but I like having somebody to talk to when I get home. I also like and respect privacy and independance too, so I would like to be with people that respect this also. I'm now in a homestay but I would like to find a house close to train o tram, just to live by myself or share with people who are my same age more or less. If you have anyquestions, feel free to ask and if you think I could suit your place let's meet and have a nice chat while having some tee! See you! ^.^
I am a 20 year old Kiwi who moved here 4 years ago to attend uni. I have a strong sense of humour, LOVE animals, am quiet but I don't mind going out for a drink now and again - not a party animal tho. I am really into art, reading and Netflix, I can make great pasta and can reach high shelves :) Not looking to move until February 20th!
Hey there! I'm Niel. I'm a 25 years old IT Professional. I am Clean, Friendly, Reliable, Respectful and Private. I'm hoping to find someone similar to Team Up with. I'm easy going and generally chill type of guy. I can either be a quiet roommate who is always in his room giving you space and privacy or the type that starts/joins in on themed nights. Up to whatever you're happy with. I love my job and I would be more than happy to help out with any IT questions. I live and breathe computers, tech and gadgets (specially home automation). At the current time, my move to Melbourne is definitely happening but I'm currently waiting for the details from work. In saying that, it would be nice to scout around and see possible Flatmates I can team up with!
