Hi, My name is Connor Blair, I 'm 21 years old and am currently studying to be a secondary teacher. I will be studying full time at Deakin University in Burwood and am looking for a place to live in the burwood surrounding area, however I have a car and am willing to travel for university. For the past 2 years i have lived with between 2-6 people at a time and have found it great living with others, I have lived with people from many different backgrounds (both local and international students from Australia, USA, Canada, France, Hong Kong and England). I have been told that I am very relaxed and easy to get a long with. I am flexible in terms of who I live with, am always up for a quality conversation or a few drinks but am happy to respect peoples privacy when they need it.
I'm organised, easy going, and I have a good sense of humour. I enjoy casual sports and cooking although I strive to be respectful of everyone around me.
Hi, I'm looking for a room or bungalow with a friendly household that also appreciates each others' need for solo time. I'm a temp worker (professional writer/editor) currently on break and looking for my next challenge. I like to think I have a good sense of humour and a sense of fun... I'm tidy and respectful of others ... and believe in teamwork to keep a household ticking along. Sing out if you would like to know anything else! :) PS I'm currently a part-time smoker ... and smoke in the street at my current location, never near the flats or inside. No butts left behind! :)
Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne soon to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills! I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne, and who are happy to share a meal and a drink. I've put down to stay 4 months but am definitely open to a longer stay. Also a bit flexible with move in date :)
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study next year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
My name is Trevor. I'm 31 years old and work full-time in Blackburn. I'd like to believe that I would be the perfect house mate as I am happy to cook, make sure I clean up after myself and will definitely be punctual with bills etc. I'm happy to share a meal and/or a drink or even a movie/tv series marathon, but also keep to myself at times. I try to keep myself fit by getting to the gym most mornings (yes I said try). I am looking for a place with preferably only 1 female housemate, someone who I can build a friendship with and create a fun and relaxing household. If you think this sounds like you please shoot me a message. Thanks!
Hi Everyone!! I've moved to Melbourne last October and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I have two jobs so will be out most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician), which I successfully did. Working in Canterbury so preferably want to be within walking distance ir at least close to the train. I also work at Etihad Stadium/ Melbourne Park on the weekends. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. I'm available to move in on the 11th of February. Thank you in advance. Aggie
Spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home (currently 3 bedroom and study). Large open but undercover garage with storage space, and big backyard with veggie garden. Hardwood floors, and modern updated bathroom. The room available is an unfurnished large bedroom with own split system aircon. There is another split system unit in the communal area. The house is right off the 109 tram line and a 5 minute walk away from shops. Cafes, supermarket, etc.
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
I'm 22, from Melbourne. Commercial Pilot, though currently undergoing further studies. I'm easy going and respect the space I live in. I love to maintain a clean environment and workspace. I've lived out of home for 3 years and familiar with sharehouses. I love cooking various foods, travelling, playing and listening to music, animals (I have a Labrador, who won't be with me), catching up with mates and anything Aviation or Automotive related! I would rather a room that is furnished or semi-furnished, though it wouldn't be a major issue if it isn't. I also own a car which will require parking of some sort. -Looking for either short term or long term- Feel free to message me if you have a listing that would be suitable!
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
Lovely, stylishly decorated, ground floor apartment in beautiful garden surrounds in safe, peaceful, residential neighbourhood. Large bedroom (2.7m x 4.8m) available, opening onto wide, leafy, shared terrace. Can be semi-furnished if necessary. Excellent location in Balwyn - walking distance to supermarket, library, cafes/restaurants (inc. McDonalds) and Balwyn cinema (Palace). 109 tram to Box Hill/City at the end of the street. 7mins walk to Chatham train station on Belgrave/Lilydale line - 6mins to Swinburne Uni, Hawthorn. Would best suit quiet, clean, organised professional/student. Inspection available.
Hi I'm Jason, I'm 26 and I have my own landscaping business. I love keeping fit and healthy and adventuring on the weekends. I'm very social and like a night out here and there, but I also like to relax and enjoy a drink at home. I love a good film and a glass of red. Easy to get along with, love to laugh and have a joke.
I am a pretty easy going and friendly person who has only recently moved to Melbourne to study. This is my first time living in Melbourne, I grew up in Perth and then spent a few years living in Tasmania so I'm hoping to make some new friends here. Having lived away from home for a while I've grown to appreciate the importance of keeping everything clean and tidy and would like to live with people who feel the same.
I've recently moved from Byron Bay to study and find part-time work. I'm social, responsible and clean! I enjoy spending time outdoors when I can and making new friends. Overall I'm easygoing and always up for a drink/chat while also respecting the privacy of others.
I am a 29 year old female, laid back, clean, adventurous and like the outdoors. I don't like to party hard but like a drink every now and then. I work full time so would only be around in evenings and on weekends. I have a beautiful friendly cat named Harriet who I would like to take with me. She mainly spends her days outdoors but sleep inside at night. She is super clean, doesn't smell and is completely toilet trained.
We are a relaxed and fun couple who love to travel, go out with friends, be creative, get active and always try new things! We have been living in our own property for the last 18 months and are in the process of renovating it before looking to rent it out. We are wanting to save a little more so would like to team up with another couple or person to rent with! Looking for a share home which is relaxed, homely and not a party house..although a few wines never hurt nobody!

Hi my name is Isaac. I'm a 22 year old recent teacher graduate. I am looking for a sharehouse to call home. I currently work as manager of a private swim school. I love all water sports and in my spare time I like to cook and dabble in art. When I am home I'm very much a "hang out in my bedroom and play video games or read a book" kind of guy. I'm respectful of others' privacy and space but also enjoy good conversation and having a laugh with good people when the opportunity arises.
Hey funky souls! My friend Brianna, James and I are all students looking for accommodation around the areas listed. We love having gaming tournaments, board game nights, feasts and playing tug-of-war with Brianna's doggo Rosie (she was adopted from Pet Rescue and is cute af). Brianna and I are both passionate about the environment, food, exercise and veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't) so we'd cook you up 10/10 meals man. Who wouldn't want that? James is an all-round top bloke who loves his baseball and doesn't mind downing a beer or two. We will also be bringing a LOT of cactuses and succulents, and just cute plants in general. 😁 We are looking for at least 3 bedrooms to rent out, our max budget each being $170 including bills (poor student life 😅) so I hope one of you lovely souls out there has a place available! We are very respective, clean, and tidy people who would love to live together with maybe a few others whilst we complete our degrees :) Don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx

Hi, I'm a 24 yr old male who's recently finished sports journalism at uni and am hoping to get a job in the field. I currently work at crown around 5 days a week. I love all things sports, am layed back and enjoy the occasional afternoon bevo. I've lived with both females and males in the past so I'm not fussed as to who I live with. My current lease ends on the 4th of February and I'm happy to move into something that's available now.
I'm a 25 year-old working in Mordialloc and currently looking for a long-term stay in a share house in the inner north of Melbourne. When I'm not working I'm a keen cyclist and cricketer, podcast listener and pub trivia maniac. I've lived in sharehouses for the last five years across a couple of different countries, so I'm housebroken, reasonably tidy and cool with pets, especially silly cats and lazy dogs. I'm happy to keep to myself most of the time, but if you're living in a more social house then I can dig it.
Country girl from a little place in Northern Victoria called Echuca, quit my job as a press photographer and moved to Melbourne 16 months ago to have a bit of fun. I'm a kids fitness coach so I'm very approachable and easy to get along with, i love my fitness, and when I'm not running around with kids I'm running a retail store. Currently studying my second degree, not afraid to have a few drinks, and I'm a great laugh.
Hey there! I'm Kristel, 23, looking for a place on the east side. Been living in shared accommodation for over 6 years, pay bills on time, can respect people's privacy, but can enjoy a wine or two together every now and then :) I work full time in a customer service role in the city. I travel, I read, bit of a foodie, can bake, enjoy eating out, but I usually stay in and cook most of the time. I watch Criminal Minds reruns, with a side of SBS. And I gym (ish). Keen to look for a place to call home. I'm also interested in team-ups somewhere on the east side. I come with my own furniture, a washing machine, and a whisk. Look forward to hearing from you! Kristel
The room is in a quiet family home in a safe leafy street in Balwyn .. its a five minute walk to the tram and a fifteen minute walk to the Canterbury train station which delivers you straight to Swinburne and the city. Cafes and shops are just around the corner .. all your bills are paid and fast internet is included. There's a big kitchen you are welcome to use, a dining room, and old old TV :) (we use our computers) a laundry (the washing machine is new!) .. and a little courtyard if you feel like chilling out in the sun!
Hi I'm Jacqueline :) 22 years old, single and my lease running out in march. I work full time and long hours in Balwyn Wednesday through to Saturday, so you wouldn't really see too much of me through the week due to working late. I'm super friendly and fairly social on the weekends! I enjoy a platter and drinks with friends most weekends, and do a lot of travelling back home to Albury to see the family. I'm super easy going and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy if you prefer :) A lot of my friends live in the outer suburbs so often on weekends I always find myself travelling out to catch up with them. I'm lots of fun but also respect that everyone loves a bit of me time! More than happy to live with a couple, i'll be your little third amigo. I have a TV, small black leather couch, and a small fridge if required, if no furniture is needed I can send it back home to albury. I've got bedroom furniture, so an unfurnished bedroom would be perfect! I'm not interested in sharing a bedroom with one or more people for the heads up :) ! I'm clean, reliable and keep the house tidy! I've always had a lot of respect for properties and neighbours, due to renting in the city and suburbs for the last 4 years! I also have a car, so a car space would be needed!
Open minded, friendly guy. I study masters at Deakin and work part time at Coles Express. Will be no delays in payments regarding rent or bills. I like to keep the house clean. I can cook as well! Love pets (I don't have one though). In general, a chilled out person who minds his own business. Looking for a house in suburbs such as Richmond, Hawthorn, Kew, Abbotsford, Glenferrie, Camberwell, Auburn, Burnley and Burwood. Send a message if you have a vacancy. Cheerio!
I am clean and tidy, I am respect other privacy and I am quiet, I did Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of IT and I am going to do Bachelor of Cyper Security next year

Hi all, My name is Robyn and I'm looking for somewhere to live from February 2017. I've been busy travelling around this year, but now am looking for somewhere to settle down for at least 12 months and finish the last year of my degree. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts and work in retail; luckily for me I work for a large chain, so have the flexibility to transfer stores and keep the money rolling in. I've share-housed before, so am well house-trained and conscious of what to do and what not to do when living with other people. I'm looking for somewhere eastside, preferably less than 30 minutes by PT to the city, but am pretty flexible. I'm not a hermit housemate, preferring to socialise and hang out with people, whether it be brunch or pizza/movie nights, but like to spend time to myself as well. I have my own queen size bed, so unfurnished rooms are preferable, but I can always sell it if need be. Also, I'm not too shabby at cooking, and going to Aldi is one of my Top 5 favourite activities, so there'll always be a pantry of cheap food! Cheers, Robyn
Hello all. My name is Shankar, and I am looking for a room in a real home. Originally from India, I recently moved to this city from Sydney. I'm 27, male and work full-time in IT. I love soccer, movies and TV shows. I'm friendly, tidy and reliable. Having lived in shared accommodations before, I understand how the game works(Things like keeping the common areas clean and cleaning up after myself in the kitchen, etc). I'm always up for a chat, drink or two, sharing stuff etc. But I also like to retreat into my room at times, and know that the others desire the same as well. Honestly, I prefer a home where the people are friendly and relaxed, as I've had some amazing housemates in the past. I'm not much of a cook, but intend to learn it ( I promise I won't turn the place upside down :) ). I am available to move-in asap. Also, furnished rooms would be at the top of my list, as I don't have any furniture with me at the moment. I Look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to text me on my number, and I'll reply as quickly as possible.
