Currently residing in Brisbane. Plan to move to Melbourne soon. I clean-up after myself and I see myself as a courteous individual. I spend most days on my computer or outside with a friend.
This home is located in central Box Hill and is a short 5minute walk to Box Hill Centro with its station, trams and buses. The apartment is also located in-front of a beautiful park, and is close to a host of shops and restaurants. Room is fully furnished, all you need is your clothes...
Hi potential female housemate, (yes I only wish to live with females) I'm friendly, down to earth and just a regular Jo (which happens to be my middle name)! My interests are veered toward artistic pursuits such as singing, card making, scriptwriting and volunteering as a FOH member for amateur theatre. I like to walk a lot and keep healthy though do enjoy a good wine! I have a lovely friendship circle spread across Melbourne and supportive family. I'm keen to meet someone who likes to chat from time to time but likes their free time too. I'd like to meet someone that I feel I can be myself with and to forge a companionship of sorts that has mutual respect, care and appreciation. I'm looking for a home not just a house that is shared and where both parties might communicate well so they both know where they stand. Basically I don't wish to feel I have to be in my room all the time or that the house really is the domain of the other person. Just someone who is kind, honest and willing to share resources would be great :) Prefer not to live with any pets.
My Name is Dan I’m a 25 year old Full Time Sales rep in the construction sector selling lasers and 3D scanners and cool toys like that. Work keeps me very busy, and even sometimes away for a few days every now and then, when I’m home though I enjoy a relaxing beverage along with some banter. I’m a pretty easy going person, very good at cleaning up after myself and more than happy to do my part in any household duties. I love cooking (especially for others) and have been dabbling in the art of smoking meats. I’m a very hands on person, I love to spend my spare time building and mending things, as well as making my car a little bit more excellent. (A garage would be a big plus). Keen to find a place to call home for the foreseeable future and am in a position to move at any time. Im open to anywhere in eastern Melbourne as I but would prefer something near some PT in case I end up stuck in one of those sneaky city seshes.
The house is in great condition in the nice green suburb of Balwyn. It has a big open living area with a small kitchen which leads to the outdoor terrace which is great in summer. It is really close to the Balwyn pool/ gym, local shops and a five minute drive to the train station and eastern freeway. The bills and internet are additional to the rent and the rooms are unfurnished. If you want any more information about the place send through a message!
We are a young hardworking professional couple who just moved to Melbourne. Tom (24) works as a Marketing Coordinator and I (23) am an Executive Assistant. We love talking politics and philosophy in our spare time. Tom reads a lot and I play music.
Hello there, we are international students about to complete our master's degree from LaTrobe and Swinburne respectively. We are friendly and helpful people. We like to socialize, love to strike a conversation, laugh and get along. We prefer cleanliness and appreciate clean and respectful house and shared areas. We indulge in cooking, exercise/ workout, reading and would find us watching movies. Our friends describe us as very active people and always up for a drink or two on weekends. We like to have time for ourselves and would respect others privacy and space as well. We are looking for a shared house or studio apartment or team up for the house in the areas closer to our workplace in the Southeastern suburbs. Please feel free to get in touch and ask us questions Flatmates has not already asked ;) Best, Sid and Am
We are Tarryn (25), Exercise Physiologist and Rebecca (24), Strength and Conditioning/Rehab coach & Sports Management. We both can help you with fitness, can cook, easy going, if everyone pulls their weight then it’s a happy house. Always down for housemate chats and a few drinks but we also like our own time. Looking for a 3 or 4 bedroom place, relatively neat, clean kitchen and bathroom with modern features, 2 bathrooms ideal, but 1 can suffice if the place is overall really good. Not too fussy on undercover car space. Let us know if you are keen to look for places with us, Looking to move mid feb to early March
Hey guys! Currently looking for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, I moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I am a qualified auto tech, currently working in retail and am looking to make a career change into engineering/land surveying this year. I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or two. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. I've lived in sharehouses for years so I know how they operate in terms of cleanliness and general consideration for others. Oh and I pay my rent and bills on time! Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
Hey, I’m Jess! I moved out of home and into one sharehouse years ago, and now need to find a new place to live. I’m a full time student at Deakin, so I want to live somewhere close to it, and I work part time as a pharmacy assistant. I want to live with people who I can be friends with. The plan is that each time I come home I feel free in my choices to go hang out in my room or to hang out with people in common areas, ideally with some times where we are all choosing to be together. I’m a pretty simple person to live with—I read, I watch movies and tv, I like music but don’t have any instruments to subject you to, I like having desserts to share with people. I’m in need of an unfurnished room. Here’s hoping that we’re able to live together!
Hi there, Im Jake, 27, full time employed secondary teacher. I love going out and seeing live music, love chilling out on sundays, catching up with mates, hitting the gym and outdoor adventures. I’m easy going and happy to unwind after a long week with a movie or some jokes over a wine or two.
Hello potential future housemate, I'm Michelle and I'm 34; I work as a Training Consultant in the city. My favourite things in the world are my pets, family, friends and music.. i have it playing almost constantly.. not loudly or through headphones. If you ask my previous housemate; I am low maintenance, because I keep to myself most of the time. That being said.. we do occasionally have dinner and drinks - so I don't always hide away I'm happy to socialise, but also happy to chill and have alone time - my number one priority is my animals. They do drop quite a bit of fur, so cleaning up after them is almost a full time job in itself!! I'm vegetarian, and happy to have occasional meals together, but mostly just take care of myself. I have a couch, washing machine, broken dryer (which I keep meaning to get fixed), fridge and bedroom furniture My pets - Zoe is a Bernese Mountain dog and LOVES people, she is such a happy girl. She is generally an outside dog, and inside with me.. when I am home Luna is a Ragdoll, and is pure cat - everything is on her terms and she is not afraid to ask for it (but secretly she loves attention). Luna is an inside only cat, as her breed has no 'street smarts' - they think everything is their friend. If you would like to know anything else - please ask!
Greetings, I'm 18 years old and will be studying a Diploma of Justice at Swinburne University. I'm tidy, neat and enjoy socializing. My pass time is primarily gaming but I also play guitar & occasionally paint and build models. I also tend to be non-judgmental and always up for a chat. some extra details to note, I don't smoke and only occasionally drink, I also have no preference for genders of my fellow flatmates but I hope that they are polite. I should mention that I can do $210 A week for rent if it includes bills. :)
Hey my name's Charlotte! I'm 23 and work as a Secondary Teacher and am super keen to move closer to where my work will be whilst also being closer to the city. I've lived in Melbourne for 5 years and have lived in quite a few sharehouses whilst being at uni. I'm seriously chill and really easy to communicate with. I'm not super keen to live in a house where nobody chats or hangs out ever. I would love to live with some flatmates where we can all hang out and watch tv, have wine and cheese nights and chat about work dramas. I also grade a lot of English essays (rip) so I understand when personal space is needed trust me and am all for a quiet one at night as well. I'm super neat and tidy and love attempting to cook but I am also lazy and get Uber Eats/go out for dinners sometimes. My weeks will be a typical 8-5 work schedule during the week, I'll also plan on joining a gym depending on where I live and on the weekends I'm always down for a roadtrip, casual bevs at a bar and having picnics at the park. I'm not fussed about pets (I love dogs and cats but unfortunately don't have any of my own) . My rent budget p/w is $220 and I'm free to move in/take over a least any time from. Ideally I'd like to find a place where I can stay for 6-12 months and have my name on the lease. *I have a car and will be driving to work everyday so parking is necessary.* :) xx
I’m currently studying full time at Rmit and working Part time. I’m clean, quiet and respectful of all my housemates and there belongings. Usually away most weekends. Always up for a chat and good time, but understand the need for privacy. Looking for a house with like minded friendly people :)
