I'm super easy going.. Out of the house from 6.30am till 1.30.. 5 days a week. Then off to pick my daughter up from school and spend time with her at her Nans. As I work so early I can't have her over night through the week. So I usually have her over night once a weekend.. Note: she's not a baby almost 6years old and is very well behaved. So I'm not usually home very much. I'm very independent and clean. Any other questions just ask me :)
Spacious older style flat, is a quick walk to the junction, less than 200m from the beach and has a park right across the road, in a great spot! Has a single garage, a sunroom which can be used as a study or TV room. Room for rent is a double bedroom with a built in wardrobe, which overlooks the park.
I am originally from QLD and moved to Newy last year for work. I work full time with kids as an provisional psychologist. I am a very easy going and tidy person. I am pretty social, enjoy a good chat and a laugh. At times I can be pretty busy during the week but like to chill out of an evening and on the weekends.
Hi! I’m Sarah, a Graphic Designer that enjoys a healthy & happy lifestyle. I work quite long hours (either in Newcastle or Sydney) so enjoy quiet weeknights and catching up with family and friends on weekends. I have a small 11yr old dog called Honey who is super friendly (& mostly lays in the sun all day!). I'm looking to share a place with a like-minded healthy person that is clean, tidy, respectful and happy to have a really cute dog at home. Sound like a match? Hit me up! :)
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration this year at UON.. and work weekends in retail. Long term preferred. Looking for a large room - I have a drawing table+computer desk I'll need to fit in there, I’ll probably downsize to a double bed so I can squeeze more into a room. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. veggie patch (or potential for one) and a nice yard space would be awesome. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. Although I don’t really know anyone up here yet so friendly roomies willing to go on walking adventures with me and my camera would be wonderful. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
Currently at TAFE studying sound production in the music industry. I’d say I’m Friendly, Kind, Creative and I find myself Funny haha. I’m big on movies, tv shows, animals and music. Very sociable but also love my own personal time. Hopefully want to live somewhere close to the beach and with people who bring good vibes, to socialise or have a good laugh. I’m down to earth and i make sure to stay tidy and clean. Keen to meet some new fun people and make some good friends.
Hello all! I'm extremely keen to move out in the Newcastle inner city region. I'm currently undertaking an electrician apprenticeship and have lived in Newcastle my whole life. I know the city like the back of my hand and a house near the beach would be amazing how ever I'm open to any of the locations listed above!. I love to have fun and meet new people and hopefully we can be roommates soon! Cheers!
My names Matt I’m 30 I am a full time worker in the mining industry. I am easy going, clean and a fun guy that doesn't mind a good time or a chat. I don’t mind eating out and having a few beers on a weekend.... I can respect people's privacy and alone time. I will be out about most weekends with mates or work. I am happy for long or short term stays. I have a 6 yr old son who lives in Newcastle who I have every second weekend. I will normally stay at my mums house with him or go away for the weekend.
Recently moved to Newcastle from Brisbane for work (Project Management). Been renting with 2 mates for the past 3 years so understand how to respect a fellow room mate. Wont be home much during the week but am keen to meet people that enjoy surfing, camping, music and the occasional cold beer on the weekend. I'm a easy going, clean and organised bloke who gets along with anyone. Feel free to send me a message if you think I could be your potential room mate :)
I am on the search for some housemates to move in with asap, ideally in a location within close proximity to pubs/kebabs/shops/beaches. I spend the vast majority of my time working/studying (watching Netflix) and am generally sleeping/indulging in $4 Moscato during my spare time. That said I do spend a lot of time at the beach and in the gym. I’m “tidy” but can someone who doesn’t brush their hair ever really be considered tidy? Will cook you copious amounts of food on the reg and my life provides good entertainment (srs) I will also be bringing my still (so free alcohol on tap will be included for all) We don’t have to be best friends but if your friends are cooler than mine I will definitely try. It’d be great if we could sit and chat over a glass of wine or a few beers. I am clean and respectful of your space. I work part time Sydney and study at UON so I am always busy. I don’t want a dorm style home, I want something friendly that is actually a home. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
I am very easy-going, not very picky about anything really. I can be very talkative, but if people want to be left alone, I can also be calm and just do my own stuff. If there's any great social activities, I rarely say no. I love to drink with friends, but I can control myself reasonably well.
Hi! We're Nicole & Pablo, and we're looking for a nice place to live in near the beach; particularly Merewether and Bar Beach, or maybe even Stockton. Nicole is a full time travel & lifestyle writer, published novelist, and reiki practitioner. She loves being outdoors and having casual wine & cheese sessions. I'm finishing my postgraduate Arts course at the University of Newcastle, while working part-time and running a tiny online company. I also enjoy playing tennis, reading and going to the cinema. We love nature, traveling and random adventures. Social at times, but also respectful of flatmates' space and privacy. Hopefully we can live together near the beach, have fun and live the beautiful life :)
I'm a French student completing my degree by doing an internship of 5 months at the University of Newcastle in Geotechnical engineering. I like my space to be clean and tidy, Despite maybe appearing shy at the beginning, you'll find that i'm a chill person who has no problem to socialize even though I like to spend some of my time alone on my computer watching netflix or playing video games.
Hey there! We are two 4th year UON students looking for a place to call home! We are both studying in the allied health sector and love what we do! Ideally we are looking for a place that gets a bit of a breeze, so we don't swelter in summer. 1-2 more people would be perfect, as we believe a smaller household is a closer household! and are very keen on team-ups as we have been searching the real estate and are hoping to get a new share house going. We met living on campus (for 2 years) so we aren't rookies in share accommodation. Georgia loves keeping neat and tidy spaces, whilst Hayley is a little more relaxed. However, after living with Georgia she has also upped her standards of cleanliness and organisation. Both of us love the outdoors, and give most things a go! Although you can't go past some chilled afternoons at the beach, with a sneaky bev here or there. Like most years Hayley's new years resolution is to get fit and go running- so please, if you think you could help with motivation hit us up! Although we try to keep active we also need our down time, which is often spent watching Netflix and indulging in tea, or even wine and cheeses if we're feeling spicy. We understand the need for space, and will be certain to give you yours. Although we do hope we can create a lovely family atmosphere! We are getting old, so no longer interested in hard nights out every Wednesday and Friday. So if you are more inclined to have chilled backyard drinks with a few close mates and good beats, we are the gals for you! Give us an OI if you think we're right for you!
Hello! My name is Laila I am 27 and looking to team up with one or two more people to find a place to live. Or if you have a spare room in a place already I would be interested. I have just moved to Newcastle from Sydney and ideally I would like to be in the Mereweather Bar Beach area as I love the beach! I work part time 4 days a week and study online. To live with I'm a very friendly, clean and respectful person, I love to socialise and have a few drinks but also love my down time. I do have quite a lot of house hold items and would be happy to contribute these! Get in contact if you think this sounds like a match :)
Easy-going going and open-minded. Happy with my own company and interests but like to have a chat and learn about others. I believe in equality / equity and am happy to pitch in and make a healthy and enjoyable home for us all
I'm a bartender, so I have decent banter, and a thick skin. Can cook a solid meal, but also know how to clean up after myself. I like the gym, my motorbike, netflix, wine and cheese. Situations like these I can be shy at first, but well, you will know when I'm out of my shell! P.S my profile picture I am blonde, although I have recently (this week) changed to a brunette!
