I have experience living in my own family home until aged 18, two different share houses, and currently my partners family home. I am starting a residential metal roofing apprenticeship in Brisbane and my partner and I are moving from the Maitland NSW area. I like to watch TV, listen to music, do Lego and puzzles and board games, go out and do activities like the beach, escape rooms, treetops and anything new, and I love travelling. My plan is to work and save so then we can travel all over the world. I also am an aspiring script writer and film maker with two qualifications in Screen and Media. My partner Sam is currently looking for work in the area since we are moving from NSW to QLD. An aspiring tradie and/or tattoo artist/piercer. She likes knitting, reading, quiet time, board games, and going for walks, and also likes going out and experiencing fun things like I listed in my paragraph. She will continue doing pet sitting (at owners houses) and dog walking casually through MadPaws. Sam is also very cleanly and hygienic and respects others space. Sam is a very kind hearted giver, who loves caring for people and animals. She can be a quiet at the start of meeting people but will become more open and talkative with time. Sam is also very passionate about accepting people and fighting for and supporting other people of the LBTQA+ Community. We are looking for an affordable place while my partner is still trying to find work in the area and we can afford a more priced rental. Looking around an 15 minute drive radius of Carindale where my sister is currently living. Either private small place or a comfortable sized room with ensuite in a share house of 1-3 other people. In housemates, we are looking for kind and thoughtful people who are like minded when it comes to general cleaning responsibilities, and respecting privacy. But also looking for people who can become friends with and even hang out and talk at home or go out. Also we have a 6 month old kitten called “Buckley” who is very calm and quiet and caring (he basically sleeps all day and has raised to be an Inside cat that occasionally we take outside on a leash to see the sun and take on car trips) who will be coming with us, so looking for a pet accepting household. Also we are open to team ups (actually would prefer) with someone or a couple to find and share a place. 😊

I (Shani) am a bar/gaming attendant who frequently works nights, I thoroughly enjoy my time at work and am working towards a promotion so work has alot of my focus at the moment. I also love my time relaxing at home and out doing activities with friends or hitting the gym on my off days. I have lived independently since before being an adult and am a friendly, caring and open-minded person, and would (obviously) be keen on getting to know our future roommates! I (Tyler) am a 3rd year apprentice cabinet maker working early mornings - mid arvo, I always like coming home to chill from a days work, or spending time with friends. I have lived independently since I was 18, cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping for myself, and keeping a good job at it too. I am quite a chilled person, love a good conversation, and usually find myself sporting my hobbies such as karate and general physical activity throughout the week which will come to be obvious hence living with me hahah. We are generally a pretty kept to ourselves duo and aren’t interested in parties or going out frequently, we are very clean and respectful of all rules and other peoples space. since we work opposite shifts, its almost always one of us out of the house but when we do get time together, we are spending it watching a movie at home or heading for a date night.
