Hi I'm Lucas, I work full time and looking for a shared place closer to work. I am a very clean person who is respectful and quiet but also like the occasional chat and beer together. I am after a place where I could move in with my doggy Cody, who is friendly and trained.
Lovely, older style home in a quiet but friendly street. Comprising 2 good sized bedrooms, one large bathroom and large living/dining areas. Fully furnished (with the exception of the spare room), with lots of Asian/art Deco style furniture - my home is set up for comfort! Carpet through out and a mean ducted heating system! It stays warm in winter and cool in summer... Features fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities and one large bathroom. Access to two small and completely private courtyards. Located in the heart of Bentleigh East, you will be close to everything you could possibly need: public transport, supermarkets, op shops and a huge variety of cuisine. It's a very safe and self sufficient area and I have loved living here for the past few years.
Looking for a place around Oakleigh, Bentleigh East, Moorabbin areas. MUST BE CLEAN, RESPECTFUL HOUSEMATES I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I spend most of my free time at the gym, catching up with friends or out at cafes eating I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed.
Hi, I'm Luke, 22, and currently in my 3rd year studying at Monash Uni Clayton. I'm semi-local (originally from regional Victoria), and have lived on-campus since moving to Melbourne. I'm a fairly easygoing person; I enjoy casual socialising with other easygoing people, but also enjoy peace and quiet. Aside from studying, I also work 20 - 30 hours per week (doing admin), so I can be fairly busy, but am usually up for a chat. When not studying or working, I enjoy games and Netflix /TV /movies, with a bit of interest in cooking as well (though I won't pretend I'm all that great at it). I'm also interested in / pretty handy with tech. I'm looking for a good house to join, with nice housemates and a relaxed atmosphere. Minimum of 6 months would be preferred, but I'd definitely be more than happy to stay longer if I enjoy it.
Hey, I am a 27y/o working professional and also study part-time. My idea of a Friday night is a cookup, red wine and a movie. I am social and love a chat but appreciate my quiet time as well - I'm DEFINITELY not a party person. I am trustworthy and capable and will treat it as my own. I clean and help around the house, but i expect others to do the same. I am looking for a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom/en-suite) with mature, like-minded people while I work over the summer. Please note I am not interested in single rooms or large share-house student accommodation. I am looking for a comfy, quiet place I can call home with friendly and relaxed people, potentially long-term. I have a rough budget in mind, but my priority is finding the right place. Please feel free to send me a message if you think I may be a good fit :)
Hey! I'm Renate, 24 years old but an old soul on the inside. I've been living independently in sharehouses for the past 3 years, but as my housemate has to move back home, I'm now looking for someone new I can team up and find a place with! I'm pretty well house trained, as my cat and past flatmates will attest, and value good communication as a key ingredient to a successful sharehouse. I'm good at taking initiative around the house and staying on top of chores! But because I know that my word is probably the same as every other person on here looking for flatmates, I'm happy for you to chat to my current housemate for his opinion, haha. I'm always down for a chat, and am keen to find someone that I really click with to find a 2BR (or at max 3BR) home. I come with a fair bit of furniture from my past sharing arrangements (fridge, washing machine, couch, coffee table, TV, appliances, crockery, cutlery, printer, dining set, etc.) and would strongly prefer to team up over joining an existing sharehouse. Achievements include: - never have run out of toilet paper in three years - always have milk in the house - good at organising logistics/bills etc. - come with concession utility rates (woohoo!) - always pay rent and bills on time So I'm a student, studying linguistics and French at Monash. I'm studying part time and will be in my fifth year in 2018. After I'm done with my undergrad, I plan to pursue postgraduate studies, most likely in Linguistics or another language-related field. I'm an absolute book worm and my passions include writing, video and board games, cross stitch, reading, the occasional bake- or cook-off, and general good times. I'm a real homebody and would like to put some roots down in my next rental, and find a place to stay for a good few years while I finish my studies. My cat, Matilda, is four and a half years old but still a kitten at heart. She's really such a sweetheart, although I admit I might be a little biased. Her qualifications include the successful conversion of dog people into cat people (can provide references to this effect). She is also a professional acceptor of belly rubs (4+ years experience). She'd probably prefer not to live with another pet, but she definitely makes up for it with twice the personality! As for the future house itself, I'd like to find a place that has a dishwasher and also has cooling in my bedroom. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible; I have a car so although I'd like to be relatively close to Monash, location is something I'm happy to compromise on if we can find a nice place! Anyway, send me a message if you think we'd be a good fit. We can meet up for a coffee and go from there! LGBT+ friendly please :)
Hi! We are two friends whose leases are coming to an end and are looking to join forces with one or two more people to complete our home-to-be. A bit about ourselves - Annie is a full-time student studying exercise and sport science at Deakin Uni. She also works part-time as a nanny and has sporting commitments which keep her on the move. Alice has just finished her science degree at Monash Uni and will be working full-time next year at Monash Clayton campus. We are easy-going, friendly people who are looking for likeminded people to join in on our Netflix binges, sneaky wines on days ending in y, housemate adventures and family meals. We are also respectful of each others’ space and quiet time. We appreciate having a clean and tidy house and sharing household responsibilities. We are looking for an unfurnished 3 or 4-bedroom place with a garage or that has access to on-street parking. Between us, we have a 58” TV, dining table and chairs, couches, a TV cabinet, kitchenware and a microwave. We have a budget of ~$200 each p/w (before bills) and are relatively flexible with move-in dates. Anywhere around the end of December to start of Jan would be ideal! We want to do everything by the book so no one ends up out of pocket. Please help us find a house to make a home! Let’s meet for coffee and get to know each other.
I will be moving to Melbourne from Wales (UK) in Feb to start a PhD at Monash University and am looking for a room to rent. I am very sporty and love triathlon and running so spend a lot of my time training but I also always find time to just chill and hang out with friends. I am very into nature and wildlife and am very outdoorsy, plus since I will be new to Melbourne I would love to explore the city and its surroundings. I am clean, tidy, a non-smoker and would prefer to live with non-smokers. Also I love dogs and will be skyping my dog back home on a regular basis!
Hi, my name is Phoebe! I'm 33, and work full time as an Account Manager in St Kilda, and about to commence my yoga teacher training. I am a home owner, and have rented for many years, with and without flatmates, so would consider myself very respectful of others and communal spaces, tidy and really easy going. I work long hours and practice yoga most nights, so am not frequently home. I spend many weekends back home on the Surf Coast, which is where I grew up. I am looking for somewhere to call home, not a big party animal but love being social and escaping to the beach or outdoors whenever possible. Let me know if you're interested in teaming up or looking for a new flatmate!

Hi! I am a 26 year old French boy who just arrive in Melbourne and start a job as a motorbike mechanic. I am looking for an accommodation between my job who is at clayton south and the center of Melbourne. I plan to stay until the end of my visa who is the 17 of march. I am easy going, clean and tidy. I spend most of my time at work but I really enjoy a beer when I come back! cheers
Hey guys. I'm looking for a house to move into in the next couple of months. I'm a student at Deakin Uni, and I currently work at a pub in the city (think of the discount on alcohol). I have literally the best taste in movies and tv shows so expect movies nights 24/7. I'm studying over the summer (because I hate myself) so I will probably spend a bit of time procrastinating, so I'm also looking for housemate/s who wanna get black out drunk time to time. But I do also enjoy quiet (partially sober) nights in. Anyway to sum up, I'm basically always down to eat, drink, binge watch shows and go on fun adventures. Feel free to message me if you have a room available or if you're interested in finding a house to rent out together!
Hey I am Madi! I'm 24, work at a sick cafe in Sandy and Study Film at Waverly. I love film, music, coffee, drinks, walks, the beach, the sunshine and many, many other things, a cliche I know! I am at work and school a lot, so during the day i'm not home much, aside from holidays. I like to get an early nights rest throughout the week but i've never had trouble with other housemates being too loud and doubt it would become an issue in the future. I smoke. *spoiler alert. I enjoy a pleasant looking house and appreciate people cleaning up after themselves. I always do my dishes, I don't steal other peoples food, and I pay my bills on time. *I like to do the housework with fun music playing* I think I would be well suited to a house full of people who enjoy socialising as a house every now and then but also live their own lives. Ambition, positivity, laughter, independence and communication are all qualities I hope my housemates will have. I come with enough furniture for my own room, maybe more, and I can offer a fridge if required. I don't think I'm hard to get along with, some call me nice, some even call me funny. So long as you don't start your sentences with 'i'm not a racist but'-we should get along just great. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you'd like to meet. Thanks heaps! -Madison.
