    Giorgia and Jean-Luc

$500/week28-29 year old woman and man

Hey everyone, we’re Giorgia and Jean-Luc; we're a couple looking for flatmates to join us in renting a place! Hoping to find somewhere with two bedrooms for us, either teaming up with one to two others, or joining an existing share house. We’re both LGBTQI+ friendly, 420 friendly (all the friendlies), and we’re hoping to find a home that’s clean, respectful, and relaxed. We like socialising with our flatmates (sharing meals, chats, the occasional movie night, etc) but we’re not looking for a party house (parties are totally fine, but not every night!). We come with two lovely cats, Quinn (first cat photo) and Matilda (second cat photo); both are well-behaved, and Matilda is quite friendly, but Quinn is very shy. Keeping shared spaces tidy and comfortable is important to us, and we value open communication and mutual respect in a household. Giorgia: I work in the mental health sector as a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, and I’m heading back to uni soon to complete my Master of Professional Psychology. I’m friendly, easy-going, and I really value a relaxed and respectful environment at home. I used to be a horse rider, and outside of work I enjoy art, music, travel, spending time with friends, physical activity, beach days, and watching movies or TV shows. I like a good balance between socialising and having my own downtime, and I’m always up for a chat or a shared meal when the vibe’s right. Jean-Luc: I currently work in IT for primary schools; I'm onsite most days but generally WFH on Mondays. I occasionally spend my free time dabbling in music (guitar, bass, piano, vocals). I’m into video games and very much enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I also host a media server, so if there’s something you want to watch, I can get it for you. We're looking to find a place before Giorgia starts uni next year, so ideally we'll get a place sometime between January and March 2026. If this all sounds like a good fit for you, please send us a message!

I’m from Korea and will be staying in Melbourne for one year on a working holiday visa. I’ll be arriving in November and I’ve joined Flatmates to find a place to stay. I don’t smoke and I’m not a fan of drinking. I’m not into loud conversations or parties, and I don’t talk on the phone all day. If any friends or family visit me, I’ll make sure to get your permission first. I’m a calm and tidy person. I'm also bright and positive.😆 The space I live in is always kept clean and organized. I will keep your home clean and treat it as if it were my own. I value following rules very much. Since I also value good manners, I’d really appreciate having housemates who think the same way. For example, not being too loud at night, and avoiding cooking or running the washing machine too early in the morning or too late at night. And don’t worry—I won’t scratch your frying pan or damage your furniture!😆 When I first arrive in Melbourne, I plan to take walks around the neighborhood to get used to the area. Once I find a job, I plan to work full-time. On my days off, I enjoy watching Netflix, visiting cute cafes, reading a book, or taking naps. I respect the personal time of my housemates and landlord. If you like Korea or want to learn Korean, I’d be happy to help you. I also hope you don’t mind me cooking Korean food. I’m really hoping to find a great place to stay. Thank you in advance!😊
