Hello There,
My name is Rohan, I am a responsible 30yr old (straight) male, work full time hours on a rotating roster, don’t smoke, take drugs, a heavy drinker or a pig around the house. Meaning I am housetrained, and attend to housework duties if required. I do dishes properly:) If you are a female reading this part YES I am a housetrained male. It took many years at the hand of my long term housemate bringing me up, however I finally made it! I believe maintaining a harmonious relationship in the house is being helpful with things that need to be done.
I am not a handyman however Im able to do basic things around the house eg using the plunger, basic gardening, connecting/troubleshooting audio/internet etc. Which leads me to my job description.
I am an Audio Technician, have compliance/police checks (part of the job) I work in 5 Star Hotels around the city working the audio decks for event setups. As such my work shifts can be all over the place. However when I do come home I'm as quiet as a mouse. If you hear anything from me it would be me snoring and that’s it. As far as cooking, music etc. Because of my work hours I don’t really cook much, and watching tv/music, I usually use my headphones. I'm not one to expect to get together to have dinner (as roomies) and bond. I'm pretty easy going, open to a chat, and good at gauging the vibe. I like a nice coffee on my days off.
If you are still reading this.. thankyou, here is the deal breaker. I have a cat! He was a homeless cat at my previous place. My friend wanted to take him on but her cat is insanely jealous. We fed it for 5mnths, it nearly died recently from (the street life) a nail up its paw, its had all the vet work/medical checks done. I've now fully adopted him. He has a gentle, well mannered disposition, but I have no where literally to take him. I am desperate to give him a safe home with me so he can recover from everything. I hope my flatmate will be cat friendly. I take full responsibility for my cat as far as cleaning dishes/ being hygienic (no cross contamination) etc.
If you require reference checks happy to provide them. As a safety precaution (for females) reading this, having a strange male in your house can be unsettling, i get it. My long term housemate/friend is happy to vouch for me as a trusted male, and her details are on this profile, and to help out if i'm working late hours and unable to quickly respond.
