Hello, I’m Harry, an English-born Australian citizen who moved from Northern England to Brisbane in January 2025; and will be relocating to the Sunshine Coast in January 2026. I graduated from university in July 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, and since moving to Brisbane, I’ve been working as a lifeguard. When I move to the Sunshine Coast, I’ll be looking for bar work while I wait for my university documents to be processed by the Occupational Therapy Association Board. (I plan to move on from the Sunshine Coast to begin working as an Occupational Therapist around May 2026.) I’m looking for a place that’s central to amenities, within a 15-minute walk to the beach. I’d like to be close to public transport links to the rest of the Sunshine Coast, and ideally, be able to get to Brisbane in under 3 hours for occasional weekend visits to see friends. I’m hoping to find sociable, tidy, easygoing people who enjoy life and who I can get along with, possibly exploring the local area together during my first few weeks. I’m a regular runner and was part of the university athletics team for two years in England. I also enjoy trying new restaurants and bars, as well as socialising in the evenings.
