I also have a 7 year old Miniature Dachsund named Betty - she’s very much a Velcro dog and goes where I go, we walk every night and she spends most of her time in a sun spot or asleep under all the covers. She comes to work with me some days, she also is about to start doggy day care so minimally will she be left alone - also her happy place is a warm bed so she would rarely leave her space.
