My husband and I have a double story, 4 bedroom house in Camberwell with a room available for rent. The house is only 5 mins to Hartwell train station (Alamein Line) and 5 mins walk to the 75 Tram on Camberwell Road. We have available for rent a great sized bedroom that has built-in robes with mirrored doors, a fantastic built-in desk + shelves, central heating and in-room air conditioning the bedroom also has a queen sized bed (or can be available without). The large main bathroom is also located upstairs which is not used by anyone. We have a baby who stays in our room. The house is quite large and we hardly go upstairs as our bedroom and ensuite is downstairs. We also have a cute dog who stays mainly outside.

Oh hi there! My name is Jeremy and with my housemate Caroline, we have a cosy, fully furnished room available from the 20th of September - ideally for a long term and friendly person. Please note that the room doesn't have to be furnished if that isn't required. The room (photographed) has a comfy queen bed, a large built-in wardrobe and even a desk! We live in a really massive, 1940's house in Camberwell. We're directly across the road from a park, and we have one next door to us as well! The green belt we live on goes all the way to the Yarra bike trails - so bike riders and/or runners would fit right in. We have a renovated upstairs space which is our living room and comes with a second bathroom as well. Surround sound and a big TV make it perfect for our GoT or movie nights. We occasionally host with Airbnb up there as the space is so private. We've been splitting the profit evenly and it really helps with the rent. Downstairs, we have a large kitchen, a dining/living area, laundry and 1.5 bathrooms. All of our bedrooms are downstairs, they all have wooden floorboards and ducted heating. We're surrounded by lemon, orange and lime trees as well as a spacious garden to tinker around in if you're interested in that. Our recent batch of tomatoes have been pretty damn tasty, if I do say so myself. There's also the potential for a garage space too. We even just got three awesome and sassy chickens! Who said living in Camberwell can't be fun?! We've always loved having a really communal household - sharing meals together, sharing groceries evenly and splitting chores as well. It's not a typical household, but it's been working really well for us and we'd like to keep it that way. Sharing food and cooking keeps costs down and taste bud satisfaction up. We want to live with real people, not just fellow tenants. I think that's about it really. The house is completely furnished, topped with a ps4 and a new smart TV (for all your Netflix needs). It is a long term share house. One guy has been here since Feb 2014 and the other was with us then returned this year due to the location of his job. There are four rooms upstairs and my partner in crime and I reside downstairs where we share a bathroom. There is a lounge area upstairs just for you as well. There is a table tennis table downstairs and as far as the kitchen goes (everything is owned by me in the kitchen and I expect respect for my special items). It is a great location with the bus on Warrigal Road (2min walk) going straight to Box Hill, a tram 600 metres away at Toorak Road/Burwood Hwy. I like to meet you before accepting you into our home. There is also a spacious park and oval at the end of the street. The place is about 20 min away from Hawthorne and half an hour away from central Melbourne. The available room has 3.9m by 3.3m floorspace. It also comes with a large, built-in wardrobe.
