Must Love Dogs :) House of fully cooperative pescatarian almost vegetarians seeks friendly vegetarian [or almost] person with well-established domestic skillset. A spacious north-facing room [sunny in winter, shady in summer] in a nice leafy street. Close to public transport- 1 minute's walk to the 75 tram and 3 minutes walk to the Alamein train line. 27 minutes to the city by train. An easy trip direct to Hawthorn or Burwood. Street parking in quiet, wide street. This is a really old house and well-lived-in, so built-in-robes and general shininess are not applicable, though the kitchen is super-clean. Also, being an old-fashioned house that is a bit country-like, there's a really nice garden that gets happier when people go outside and enjoy it and that we all share in keeping nice according to sustainable principles. Organic, totally toxin-free, since 20 years. Garden lovers and handypersons are adored here! You'll be sharing with a friendly person/people who are perhaps not party animals but who love to cook and dine together with conversation- and occasionally a beer/wine- and a giggle nevertheless. A nice balance of social and cocooning downtime. Seeking a sensible, open, honest and sociable person familiar with life in a house as opposed to a flat or apartment, and who appreciates a real home. Ideally a gainfully employed person who would prefer to keep it to two of us, but open to suggestion; tell me what you think. With the right third person it could also be nice, and it would stay this cheap. Age is no issue whether you're young or old. If you're shy that's fine. 'Sociable' here doesn't mean partaay; it means sharing and caring. There is a bike track to the city nearby that goes along creeks and through parks. Cafes and shops are close by. If you like open spaces and nature there are three big parks in easy walking distance. It's peaceful here. A great atmos for study or general chilling. Lots of books and art. You can come home and really be cosy and relax. This is a home. Life is Now. Lets enjoy it! Share bills (can change depending on usage; currently $106 pcm, which is $24.50 per week). $715 security deposit. Standard mod cons; washing machine, 70 or 80 Gb ADSL2+ internet, microwave. There is a bath if you are enough of a hippy to not mind that it's in the garden :) Please send a short, easy message with phone number- don't go to trouble- telling us how you like to live. Please don't mention 'inspection' though, and we promise not to 'interview' you. Thanks :) Looking forward to meeting you.

Oh hi there! My name is Jeremy and I have a cosy, fully furnished room available from the 10th of March - ideally for a long term and friendly person. Please note that the room doesn't have to be furnished if that isn't required. The room (photographed) has a comfy queen bed, a large built-in wardrobe and even a desk! We live in a really massive, 1940's house in Camberwell. We're directly across the road from a park, and we have one next door to us as well! The green belt we live on goes all the way to the Yarra bike trails - so bike riders and/or runners would fit right in. We have a renovated upstairs space which is our living room and comes with a second bathroom as well. Surround sound and a big TV make it perfect for our GoT or movie nights. We occasionally host with Airbnb up there as the space is so private. We've been splitting the money evenly and it really helps with the rent. Downstairs, we have a large kitchen, a dining/living area, laundry and 1.5 bathrooms. All of our bedrooms are downstairs, they all have wooden floorboards and ducted heating. We're surrounded by lemon, orange and lime trees as well as a spacious garden to tinker around in if you're interested in that. Our recent batch of tomatoes have been pretty damn tasty, if I do say so myself. There's also the potential for a garage space too. We've always loved having a really communal household - sharing meals together, splitting groceries evenly and splitting chores as well. It's not a typical household, but it's been working really well for us and I'd like to keep it that way. Sharing food and cooking keeps costs down and taste bud satisfaction up. I want to live with real people, not just fellow tenants. I think that's about it really. The house is completely furnished, topped with a ps4 and a new smart TV (for all your Netflix needs). The house is very light and more than a little odd, with heaps of space and just 5 minutes walk from both the train station and tram stop on Camberwell Rd. Please message me if you're interested! Thanks
We live in a very quiet and picturesque part of Burwood. The 3 Bed 2 Bathroom ground floor apartment in question is very spacious and well appointed. You will have your own room with built in wardrobe and own private bathroom as well. The apartment has newly installed carpet throughout and is very secure with guests requiring entry via video intercom. The property is located on what is kind of like a cul-de-sac where only local residents frequent. There is a large wrap around balcony with access via two main sliding glass doors, additionally the living room has an abundance of windows which lets plenty of fresh sunlight and breeze through the place on sunny days. Lush parks, walking tracks , convenience stores and shopping centres are close by with a handy 24/7 Woolworths within walking distance. Chadstone shopping centre is a 5min drive or bus ride away. There is a bus stop right outside the driveway, Burwood train station 1km away and the 75 Tram is about 350m away. There is unlimited internet included and the only bill that needs split between us is electricity. Viewing will be available now with move in date avaiable on the Friday 23rd (Feb)

I am from India. I would be studying in Monash and would need a permanent location for both(Me and Rutuja) to live in from a period of 6-months to 1 year. Looking for a quiet and well organized place. Max budget 400$ per week.
I am from South America, very clean and organized with the kitchen and shared ammenities. Like to cook. I’ll be working at Monash so most of my time I’ll be out, except maybe for weekends. I’m looking to share at the beginning for a month but if we get along,we can extend it
Easy going, fun loving person, tidy, very respectful, keep to my self but always a great chat, can cook a mean pasta dish + make awesome burgers, 6 '5 (196cms) so I can reach anything you need, currently studying Early Childhood Education at TAFE so I'll be out of the house most days. Looking to move in ASAP. Can't wait to hear from you!
I am considerate and tidy among shared spaces within the house and work to get a good balance going. A balance of independent space as well as socialisation with those I live with. I enjoy cooking, reading, anything outdoors and one goal I want to do is consume less technology. I'm talking tv, netflix and spending a lot of time on my laptop. It's a challenge, but that's my 2018 goal. I am open to negotiation about the amount of time I rent a room. From a few months up until a year, I would like to think it's negotiable on a case by case basis.
Hi, I’m an easy going, friendly guy studying my last year of environmental Science and work part time. I likes clean space and am very respectful of others. I’m always up for a chat but like my own space too. Please contact me if you would like to know more.
I'm quiet and keep to my self most of the time. I have a steady income for my engineering work. I'm self sufficient and clean up after my self. I have grown up 4 wheel driving and so I love the bush and going camping. I play basketball once a week to keep fitness up, and enjoy watching anime and tv shows.
